Mikaal Zulfiqar is very well known as a host, model and an actor but what many people do not know is that this talented young man also stepped into production with the plays Maan and Tum Mere Kya Ho. Both these dramas have nothing new to offer but Mikaal has plans to do something different in the future. This was his first production so he thought it was better to play it safe. While talking to Instep Magazine Mikaal said,

“I am grateful to my team who helped me complete two serials back-to-back as producer. Yes, the stories are run-of-the-mill but when you don’t know the art (of production), you have to start with something that is familiar to the audience. Trust me, I am going to bring some explosive ideas to the screen in the next few months because that’s what our drama industry lacks.”

Apart from working in his country Mikaal has also done films in India. These films were not very popular and some of them have been subject of controversy too. This is what Mikaal had to say about his Bollywood career so far,

“You can call me unlucky when it comes to Bollywood, “My first film, Godfather, was an Indo-Pak production in 2006 and I got to work with Vinod Khanna, Arbaaz Khan and many other experienced actors. Afterwards, I was offered a role in Shoot on Sight where Om Puri sahib and Naseeruddin Shah sahib were my co-stars. The film did well at the box office but soon after, the Mumbai attacks happened and despite having a few offers, I was left in a lurch – I didn’t have an Indian visa, nor any work in Pakistan. It was then that I realized that this might continue to happen in the future so I put a stop to my Bollywood aspirations and began working in Pakistan. Thankfully my decision helped and that’s one of the reasons why I have stayed away from films – both in India and Pakistan.”

Talking about how his character looked and acted when he aged Mikaal said,

“Yaar that’s television and we aren’t that well-versed in the makeup department in Pakistan. “Things might be a little better in films; we still have a long way to go in terms of television. Haseeb Hasan has done a wonderful job with Dayar-e-Dil but if the audience didn’t like the aging thing, all I can say is that we will try to work on it in the future.”

Talking about what he has planned for the future Mikaal said,

“I am happy with my work on TV here and would love to carry Pakistan forward if I can – as an actor, producer and model. This country has given us a lot and we must ensure that this debt is paid back by delivering quality products.”

Mikaal Zulfiqar never fails to speak his mind. The actor was in news for his divorce with wife Sana Bhatti. Recently, he appeared at tonite with HSY and said a few controversial things about two Pakistani actresses which might not go well with their fans.

“I still cannot read the script, one of the assistants reads it out for me and that is how I learn my lines.”

“I have always been very shy when it comes to girls. I met my wife Sara through a family friend. She is a beautiful person inside and out.”

Mikaal Zulfiqar has two beautiful daughters. He talked about how it felt like being a father for the first time,

“When I had my first daughter, I felt like my life had a real purpose now. I am a family man, there was a time when I was a party animal but not any more.”

Mikaal Zulfiqar and Mahira Khan have shared the screen in popular drama serial Shehr-e-Zaat. Their on-screen chemistry was quite adorable and fans loved it absolutely.

In a recent interview with Ahsan Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar shared many things and gave quite a weird statement about working with Mahira Khan.

When the host asked him about whether he will work with Mehwisht Hayat or Mahira Khan?

Mikaal Zulfiqar responded, “Both, they are amazing.” He added, “But if I have to choose one I will go for Mehwish because of Mahira won’t work with me.”

Mikaal Zulfiqar has appeared in a supporting role in Bollywood film ‘Baby’ which features many stars including; Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Anupam Kher.

In a recent interview, Mikaal Zulfiqar first opened up about another Bollywood offer for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but he was rejected and Fawad Khan got the role.

Mikaal Zulfiqar believes that it is impossible for Bollywood actors to work in Pakistan and he explained his stance too.

Talking about changing Ruswai’s regressive script, he said, “Ruswai’s script was so regressive that we had to change it, in that, the main lead was supposed to slap female lead for ten times and afterwards he had to hit her badly, which we toned down and just filmed with only one slap”. Also for the coming year, Mikaal Zulfiqar will be seen alongside Fawad Khan and Gohar Rasheed in an action comedy Money Back Guarantee, directed by Faisal Qureshi of the famous Ufone ad campaign fame.

Mikaal Zulfiqar is surely the envy of every newcomer in media. He started his career with a music video and since then has been no looking back, from staring in highly successful dramas to signing movies back to back, he’s achieving it all. He is definitely one of the best actors we have.

With five movies from different genres, Mikaal is all set to built an even more solid career the can stand strongly behind. HIP got in touch with Mikaal just to know what we should be expecting from him and his five different movies in line and here is what he has to say:

HIP: Are you excited about the Five movies in the pipeline?
Mikaal Zulfiqar: Excited is an understatement. I don’t even have time to think at the moment. But yes, of course, I’m over the moon about all these amazing projects.

HIP: What reaction are you expecting from the audience?
MZ: Well, I’m hoping the audience is going to really enjoy the variety coming from my end. Every film is individual and amazing in its own way. And I always give my 200% to everything I do, so I am definitely expecting a positive outcome.

HIP: Which one of the five movies is the closest to your heart?
MZ: The first two are closest to my heart as they are the ones that are almost complete and will be releasing soon. Na Baja Na Barati is a family comedy and the second which is tentatively titled The Trial is an action romantic thriller.

HIP: Which movie do you think will showcase your true potential?
MZ: I hope to do justice to all the characters I play. I have done all of them with heart and soul. All are distinct in their own nature, Na Baja Na Barati is a family comedy, The Trial is an action thriller, Ae Dil Mere Chal Ray is a romantic comedy and Qaid is a suspense thriller, there’s so much variety.

We are all in for a good dose of Mikaal in the year 2017.

Recently, Mikaal was in Lahore, to host the launch event of Samsung QLED TV, the next innovation in TV.

The function took place in the Emporium Mall By Nishat Group Of Companies.

The event was organised by JBnJaws Event Planners and it seemed to be an awesome arrangement.

The gorgeous host Mikaal Zulfiqar was dressed in jermyn street clothing and styled by  Rao Ali Khan.

Ahmed Ali Butt and Junaid Khan were also spotted at the ceremony.

Mikaal Zulfiqar is a handsome and talented Pakistani actor who rose to fame through Abrar Ul Haq’s popular song Sanu Tere Naal Pyar Ho Gaya. Mikaal had a successful modelling career when he switched to acting. He made his mark in acting as well. His notable dramas include popular serials like Diyar E Dil, Dur E Shehwar, Pani Jaisa Pyar, Sangat, Chauraha, Khasara and Fraud. Mikaal Zulfiqar is also a producer. He has recently produced Money Back Guarantee with ace Pakistani super stars.

Recently, Mikaal Zulfiqar appeared in A Plus’s show Chocolate Times where he revealed something about Mahira Khan. Replying to question, “Which actor you will not call in your show, if you would ever host this show?”, He said, “I won’t invite Mahira Khan because I know she will not come. I have asked her about a few projects but she doesn’t respond to my offers”.

Remember that, Mikaal Zulfiqar once said, “Mahira Khan will not work with me”. This time again, he revealed the fact in a fun manner. The two actors have worked in a hit serial Shehr E Zaat which was directed by Sarmad Khoosat.

After receiving the unexpected proposal on her live show, Nida Yasir ended the call instantly and asked Mikaal Zulfiqar to answer. Mikaal replied, “Such things should not be discussed over the phone. I will respond when I meet you, but I am flattered.” Nida Yasir requested fans to control their emotions because Shaan e Sahoor is a Ramzan special show, not her regular transmission. Recently ,an old interview of actor has been resurfaced on social media in which he was saying that Junaid Khan is a good actor and working hard as an actor because he can’t look good.

He said it in HSY’s show in which he appeared with Ushna Shah . It is to be remembered that the interview is too old, when HSY used to host a show for Hum TV.

Recently , Mikaal saw the resurfaced news on an Instagram page of the Current PK. Mikaal completely refuted the news .

He instantly came to the post and said I didn’t say it , however fans reminded him that it was an old show .

Mikaal actually replied to a question of HSY, which said , ” who is weaker actor ? , Noor Hassan or Junaid Khan.

To the question Mikaal replied , ” Noor Hassan , he’s focussing on looking good , Junaid is working on acting more as he can’t look that good ”

Mikaal instantly tagged Junaid Khan and said , ” I’m saying it on record, you look great”

We all know who Mikaal Zulfiqar is. He earned a strong position in the industry for his tremendous work on the television screen and therefore doesn’t need any introduction. Mikaal has been a part of showbiz for a long time now and never failed to impress his millions of fans.

In the second episode of Star Iftar, we saw Mikaal Zulfiqaar, who, in the words of Sarmad Khoosat, is haseen o jameel inside and out.
Sarmad Khoosat and Mikaal have worked together in several projects but the ones that immediately come to mind are Pani Jaisa Pyar and Shehr-e-Zaat.

Chatting with Sarmad Khoosat, Mikaal revealed that he used to be a big foodie and there was a time when food was his extravaganza. Mikaal oh-so-casually spoke about having dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s – yes Gordon Ramsay!!

Talking about his work, Mikaal said that he has a couple of TV serials on-air while one or two are in the pipeline. He also talked about venturing into films. He has started to work as a producer (he produced drama serial Tum Mere Kia Ho on PTV) and now he is thinking of producing a film but he can’t reveal further details until he is sure. 

Mikaal Zulfiqar and Zarnish Khan both have achieved immense popularity and admiration from their fans. Zarnish is a performance powerhouse and Mikaal is so good looking that just being himself on screen gets him casted repeatedly.

They are both now coming together in hum Tv’s upcoming project, “De Ijazat” where they will be playing the leads. Hareem is all praises for Mikaal calling him among the best human beings she has ever met. The drama is directed by Asim Ali.
