This particular video which is part of the live Morning Show is by far the sickest thing that any of us has watched on television this Ramazan. First of all there was no reason at all to invite a person like Mathira to a Ramazan special Morning Show and if she was invited the host could have made sure that no controversial topics were discussed in the show in order to show respect to this month. Not only this, a Morning Show is a family show or a show which usually women watch. No one wants to see Mathira discussing her condom advertisement and all the other cheap stuff on the show.

As if Mathira’s vulgar acts and the vulgar topic of discussion were not repulsive enough, Maani added in a very crude way, “Aap ne Mathira ko bula ke lakhon caroron Muslamanon ke eman ka test liya hai”. Not only this, he also said “Roza nahi rakhta kyunke rozay ka taaluq eman se hai aur mera eman buhat mazboot hai”. So, basically these people were seen openly making fun of Ramazan in a Ramazan show. Not only this, we see Mathira giving women tips on how to seduce their husbands on a family channel and a family show and most importantly on a Ramazan special show in which the women have their heads covered but they show just how dirty minded they are. Wearing a duppata on your head does not mean that you have respect for the Holy month; one must show it by their actions. Maani’s vulgarity was at its peak in the show, I wonder how his wife or any of the family members can bear to see him on screen like this when a decent viewer finds it hard to digest all that they discussed.

It is a shame that our channels promote such disgusting things during the month of Ramazan. It is our duty to condemn such acts so that the people who are running these channels know that such cheap tactics will not get them TRPs but will drive their viewers away. Shame on the Morning Shows organizers who allowed all this to happen, not only this but they clearly facilitated it. For God’s sake stop making fun of religion, if you people cannot do anything to promote good during this Holy month then do not promote vulgarity too. Shame on you Ary, shame on you Nida Yasir, shame on you Maani, shame on you Mathira and most of all shame on all the people who sat there and laughed at those filthy jokes.

Mathira though, believes in marriage still despite what she has been through. She said that she thinks people can be good or bad, may they be men or women. A man and woman together complete each other and she still believes in the institution of marriage.

Mathira started out in the industry at a very young age. Her shows became viral for her fitness videos as not many people could wear such bold clothes on Pakistani television back then. She has shared several times that she did those late night shows where people would call her and say things which would go viral but she did not even know the meaning of those things due to the language barrier.

She has grown a lot since and now she has hosted mainstream talk shows. She has a great show, The Insta Show on Bol these days and she has interviewed many prominent people in the countries. She was a guest on Mohsin Abbas Hader’s show Public demand and she talked about why her show has adult jokes. Mohsin asked if the editor has to work over time on her show or not.

Mathira said that the editors do not have to work too much. She also said that all the guests on her show are grown up adults and they will not make childish jokes. Thus there are adukt jokes sometimes and it is okay.

Recently, Mathira appeared on Inqilaab Voice’s podcast The Hot Seat, where she revealed her age and discussed the cosmetic procedures she has undergone.

Talking about her age, Mathira said, “I will be honest, I am 34. I think I am a thick woman, and I can still turn heads. Youth is a part of your life; no one can live forever young. To be famous is written in your fate; not everyone becomes famous. Who launched me and gave me fame? No one, I am self-made. I am not worried about my future and youth. I’m a public person who loves private life, and I’m not worried about weight shaming.”

She admitted undergoing treatments, saying, “I did get a nose job, that’s for sure, because of my accident my bone got slanted or disfigured. I got it done in Turkey. Yes, I do get a bit of fillers or Botox. I did get a bit of liposuction 15 years ago. A woman doesn’t get old that easily. Have you seen Shakira, how well is she doing? We have stereotyped women, saying women ageing or ‘Umer dhalna’ is a very disgraceful thing.”

The most controversial celebrity of Pakistan Mathira was recently invited to “To Be Honest” which is hosted by Tabish Hashmi. Mathira in the show revealed that she is a school dropout and when the host asked her the reason that why she got dropped out of the school. Mathira revealed that her father was a politician.

“My father was a politician in Zimbabwe, when Robin Mugabe came in power, my dad and mum were divorced at that time. My father was of the opposite party, my father went to London he left our mother and we had to come to Pakistan hurriedly. So it was a huge shock for us” said Mathira

Mathira is a host, actress, and dancer and is most commonly criticized for her boldness. There had been tons of criticism but nothing could cease Mathira and she has emerged as one of the boldest celebrities also she has no filters when she is speaking. But Mathira is a daughter of a politician was something not known to us.
