Celebrities have joined hands with renowned designer Asim Jofa who is making protective suits for all the health workers.
Many celebrities including; Sonya Hussyn, Adnan Siddiqui, Ushna Shah, Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz are working and successfully played their part in making a suit.
The celebrity sisters Minal Khan and Aiman Khan have stepped in to help this country in this difficult time.
Minal Khan took to her Instagram and shared, “Let’s fight back…! We being the youth of Pakistan has a huge responsibility on our shoulders. If we work together we can take any challenge which life throws on our way.”
“Today is such a day, this time is such a time where we all need to come out of our comfort zones and do something for our nation. So all of you skilled people come forth and help Pakistan,” she added.
Aiman Khan and Muneeb Butt came forward to help the nation during the time of crisis. They tried to play their part so that together we can survive.
Muneeb Butt shared, “Let’s fight back…! This pandemic has shaken the whole world, but by helping each other we can survive this test of time and emerge victorious. We are trying you also come forward and do your part.”
Recently, Ushna Shah faced a lot of backlash because of her viral tweet. It was in the tweet, that Ushna had said that she had found videos of doctors dancing as breathers between work shifts, as ‘precious time consuming.’
Ushna Shah received a lot of criticism as people stated that her tweet was insensitive and that, since the doctors had been fighting the battles on the frontlines since the spread of cornavirus, they deserved to have any and all breaks that they wanted.
Realizing that she had been wrong on this occassion, Ushna Shah, has posted a heartfelt apology, apologizing to the medical professionals and thanking them once again for their hard work in saving thousands of lives.
Taking to her social media, Ushna stated, “I wanted to quickly post this to clarify and apologize for a tweet that has caused some offsense.” Ushna added that she had been confused about hospitals been shown to be understaffed and the present staff in dire need of sleep and had tweeted to help with her confusion.
“That momentary confusion was tone deaf and unwarranted. I don’t work in a hospital, I don’t know what the frontliners are going through. Frankly I don’t even get to have an opinion on this,” stated Ushna further.
The actress added that she “vehemently apologized for any offense caused whatsover.” Stating that she was in no position to question what the doctors and nurses did to take the edge off.
The Balaa actress then went on to thank the medical staff stating that “anything other than a THANK YOU to our hardworking medical professionals is offensive. An absolute idiot moment on my part. Thank you for risking your lives and continue to do whatever makes you happy to get through this tough time.
However, before she ended the note, Ushna added that her apology was for the doctors and not for the trolls who “foam at the mouth and get personal and disrespectful every time they read something they don’t like.
While the entire world is celebrating the spirit and resilience of doctors around the world for fighting the battle against coronavirus on the frontline, there is someone unhappy about them taking some time off and relaxing for a while. This latest episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay highlighted Mansoora’s failure as a mother, Mahjabeen drawing the right conclusions about Sarwar and Abdullah turning to the right people for advice. Mahjabeen’s parents are back in the picture, which I think is great. In so many dramas the parents are conveniently sidelined after a girl gets married, thankfully, that is not the case here.
I really like the fact that there are no plot-holes in the script so far. The screenplay is rock solid. However, some of the scenes tonight were not translated on-screen too convincingly. Mahjabeen’s transformations in both the scenes did not look too radical on-screen. She more or less looked the way she did before. The dialogues and situations suggested a complete change in her overall look. Also, her hairstyle completely changed when she was out with Sarwar for dinner. Apart from these minor glitches, this was another superb episode of a drama which is one of the best dramas on air right now.
Meaningful Situations and Dialogues
Tonight’s episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay had so many meaningful scenes and dialogues which in a subtle manner translated the underlying emotions of different characters. Abdullah’s “I’ll manage dad” was one such dialogue. After insulting Abdullah in front of the entire office, Sarwar yet again started giving him unwanted advice which was clearly meant to brainwash him. Abdullah does not have the guts to tell his step-father off therefore this was his way of telling him that he did not need Sarwar’s advice. The fact however remains that Abdullah is easily influenced not only by Sarwar but by anyone at all.
I loved the scene covering Mansoora’s behavior when Abdullah and Sarwar came back from the office. Although this was a big day for Abdullah but she did not ask him how his day was. She in fact asked Sarwar how the day went and actually sympathized with him. Later on too when Abdullah said he was not feeling well, she did not inquire about his health. She was more worried about Sarwar in all these scenes than she was about Abdullah. This was such a good way of showing where she was lacking as a mother. It also went to show where her priorities lied. It was an intelligently written scene that explained why Abdullah felt so worthless and he never took his mother into confidence. Mansoora is on Sarwar’s side and no one knows that better than Abdullah because he is the one who has paid the biggest price.
Mansoora trusts Sarwar completely although she is a wise woman otherwise. Washma is the intelligent one who knows Sarwar better than everyone else. Her character balances out Mansoora’s gullibility. Therefore unlike dramas like Balaa, we have a strong character who can see through Sarwar and is not afraid to speak out. Washma has also managed to stay away from this toxic environment and she is also doing whatever she can to make Abdullah’s marriage with Mahjabeen last. Washma’s reality checks to Sarwar are always gratifying and on point. Phupo’s character is a breath of fresh air too. Although her brother is no longer in the picture but she is such a supportive and positive character in the play. Srha Asghar’s energy and apt portrayal never ceases to impress.
Mahjabeen and Abdullah
Mahjabeen and Abdullah’s scenes tonight covered different dimensions of their relationship. After Sarwar brainwashed Abdullah, he could not even bear to be around Mahjabeen but after the conversation with phupo, his attitude was different. Mahjabeen for now is definitely more receptive and vocal. She shared with Abdullah whatever Sarwar said to her about him and also mentioned that she did not feel like giving him the respect which she should, considering that he is her father-in-law. This conversation between these two was innocent but meaningful too.
Perhaps for the first time, Abdullah openly shared how he felt when Sarwar insulted him. The interesting bit was that he knew that he was right! He is therefore intelligent enough to know that Sarwar is playing games with him but does not accept that even in front of his sister and phupo. Seems like Abdullah finally has someone he can confide him. Also, who would understand his problems more than Mahjabeen who has faced rejection all her life.
I must say that tonight for the first time I felt that Bilal Abbas Khan completely overshadowed Yumna Zaidi. Although Yumna Zaidi has acted superbly throughout but this episode truly belonged to Bilal Abbas Khan. The way he translated different emotions on screen especially in the scenes in which he was scared and unsure was impressive.
Sarwar and Mahjabeen
Sarwar flirted with Mahjabeen more than once and she felt uncomfortable when he did so. Although Mahjabeen is innocent but she is smart enough to tell that there is something wrong with the way Sarwar interacts with her. The best part of this episode was that Mahjabeen can already see that Sarwar does not deserve to be respected and at least tonight she was not even scared of him. Sarwar’s plan is to turn Mahjabeen and Abdullah against each other, so far Mahjabeen does not listen to him the way Abdullah does. Omair Rana acted exceptionally well tonight too. I especially liked Yumna Zaidi’s performance in the scene covering her interactions with Sarwar when they went out for dinner. The confused and tense expressions on her face were priceless.
Final Remarks
Pyar Ke Sadqay is turning out to be an exceptional drama. Tonight’s episode also showed how concerned Mahjabeen’s parents were and in the next episode her father will talk to Mansoora. I seriously doubt that Mansoora will believe him but she will at least be more vigilant, perhaps. Shanzay is already having issues with her fiancé who it seems is a lot like her! The ‘hoshyar khoobsurat larki’ dialogue was really sweet and Abdullah’s reaction was even more so. I loved Bilal Abbas’ look tonight, it looked like he was tired and worn out.
The best thing about this episode was that even with things getting slightly serious, the light-hearted scenes were entertaining as usual. It is great watching characters which make you laugh but they have such emotional stories.

Corona Virus is not taking any break. Right now Corona Virus has affected more than 4500 people in Pakistan and number of casualties have raised from 60. ASIM JOFA
First, it was Asim Jofa famous fashion designer of Pakistan who took an initiative to stitch protective kits for doctors and medical staff that are fighting at the front line and supplying it free of cost. Asim Jofa and team delivered the first batch of protective suits to Jinah Postgraduate Medical Center.
Yasir Hussain also shared a video on her Instagram account in which he was stitching a protective gear. Iqra and Yasir made a protective suit altogether and they persuaded that its time to do something practically and everyone must stitch such suits in their houses to help doctors and paramedical staff.

According to Saba’s manager Meshal Cheema, Saba’s phone might have been hacked as Meshal received calls from Saba’s number with an unknown male on the line. All this happened while Saba had her phone with her.
According to Meshal’s Instagram story, she “received a call Saba’s number asking me if I am Mishi and the person was an anonymous young man.”
Meshal then added that the man said that he had found the phone at a park where Saba jogs, and upon inquiring how he accessed the phone, he implied that he found it unlocked. “I asked him who and where he is, to which he kept asking if this is Saba’s number and when I got mad, he cut the phone,” she wrote.
Meshal also added that she straight away called Saba, who was shocked to know someone was using her number to call.
According to Meshal, the suspected foul play could have come through with the video chatting app, Houseparty, that they had been using of late. The app has become very common during the lockdown and a number of cases of misuse and hacking have been reported through that.
Although there was no proof that the app was responsible for the glitch with Saba’s phone, Meshal however, clarified that they had warned and informed people ahead of it, in case something happened.

Shamim Ara’s first husband was Sardar Rind, a landlord from Balochistan who died tragically in a car accident. She then married Abdul Majid Carim whose family owned Agha Color Film Company. The couple had a child Salman Majid Carim, who happens to be Shamim Ara’s only child. After Shamim Ara got married to Fareed Ahmed, in a short span of time she called a press conference and spoke about how she was filing for a divorce from him, citing sterility as a reason. All the claims were untrue because Fareed Ahmed had fathered 2 children in his previous marriage. Nadir Ali is a famous prankster of Pakistan who his famously known for his Youtube channel P for Pakao. He is in trouble as he received a notice by the tax authorities claiming he owes up to PKR 13 million in taxes.
Nadir along with his team pull pranks on people and therefore he has lots of viewers on his Youtube channel. He also makes short funny videos and entertains people.
The combined views of his channel are around 820 million which makes his channel as one of the largest in the country.
The tax authorities suspected him of hiding his income and then they launched an investigation against him. After contacting Youtube they got to know about his actual income and their suspicions got confirmed.
Nadir Ali was served with a number of notices during the investigation but he didn’t respond to any of them. However, Nadir Ali denied not having responded to the FBR.

Samina Ahmed is a legendary actress of Pakistan. She has been through a lot of troubles in her marital life but still, she stayed strong.
Samina Ahmed first got married to Pakistani filmmaker Fariduddin Ahmed. They have a daughter and a son together.
In an interview, Samina Ahmed shared how she got married to her best friend and later got divorced.
She shared, “Our friends introduced us with each other. He was a very nice and attractive person. He proposed me for marriage and I agreed.”
Samina Ahmed and Fariduddin Ahmed met on the sets and within a week their love story happened.
Later, Fariduddin decided to divorce her because he was in love with his ex-fiance Shamim Ara and they got married.
Samina Ahmed shared the reason for divorce and said, “You can’t live with someone forcefully. If somebody wants to walk out you can’t stay connected to them.”
“We ended our relationship in good terms. If you are ending your relationship it’s better to end in a good manner.”
She further said, “Being a single parent is a huge challenge in our society but I did it sincerely and it happened.”
“None of my family members were here except my grandmother and friends who supported me. I am very lucky that I have got such good friends who supported me always,” she added.

Ohkay so, this was one of the most important episodes of Ye Dil Mera in terms of story & exposing of the truth. Each & every moment of this episode was engaging & gripping. All the reactions were realistically portrayed & some of the scenes were very emotional. The director definitely deserves points for giving all the characters equal treatment & enough screen time so that the viewers could understand what they were going through. It is safe to say that Ye Dil Mera has come to such a stage where every single episode is promising & has so much to offer.
The Shock of Their Lives
Ana decided to find out about some of the secrets that Amaan was keeping from her. Ana knew something was quite wrong & the way Amaan behaved with her, he had to have a solid reason to do so. Ana decided to do her part & what she stumbled upon was something she never in a million years had imagined. Ana saw the pictures of her & Meer Farooq Zaman. Just when Ana was trying to wrap her head around what was happening & why Amaan would do such a thing, she also got to see the wooden plaques commemorating Amaan’s family. That entire scene was done really well, especially when Amaan walked in & lit the candles. This was Amaan’s moment to let it all out & he did. He had to tell Ana that it was Meer Farooq Zaman; her father who had murdered his entire family.
Meer Farooq grew suspicious & knew he could find some clues. Yes, they had to take the story forward now that is why they showed that it didn’t ever occur to Meer Farooq or Ali Baksh to check Sahira’s phone before. It was now when they both grew a little impatient & desperate that they decided to look for answers & what they got to know was shocking for them. Sahira was in touch with Amaan & it didn’t take a second for Ali Baksh to tell Meer Farooq about all that he ever felt or suspected about Amaan. Meer Farooq’s dejected body language was enough to show that even he knew he was in hot waters & no matter what he’ll have to face his fears especially with Ana being in the picture.
Meer Farooq decided to see Amaan & Ana, he thought just like all the people he has intimidated & harmed, Amaan will be the same too but what Meer Farooq witnessed was enough to shake him to the core. Amaan not only threatened him but showed him that he was not afraid of him at all. The confidence & faith that Amaan displayed in himself was what that actually rattled Meer Farooq because this was something that he wasn’t expecting at all. Ana chose to stay back & not go to her father’s place. All the things that Meer Farooq said to Ali Baksh after he came back from Amaan’s place were interesting. It was good to see him scattered & spaced out. It showed that this was the first time Meer Farooq was actually dealing with a situation which he didn’t have control of & this is what was making him nervous. Amaan has stepped on Meer Farooq’s Achilles Heel & even he knew it. Meer Farooq has always done everything to protect Ana & to fabricate such an image of himself in front of her which made her believe that he was the ideal father a girl could dream of. Now when Meer Farooq sensed the danger & knew that Ana was close to finding out the truth about her father, he couldn’t handle it well.
The dejection in Meer Farooq’s demeanor also showed that he was kind of trying to put two & two together & despite not wanting to, was being forced to think about all the people he had wronged all over these years. He was not paying much heed to it but there was a voice at the back of his head telling him that this was finally his undoing, especially now with his daughter being involved.
The entire scenario where Amaan threatened Meer Farooq was executed brilliantly, once again the change of attitude & body language that Amaan displayed was a treat to watch. He was in his element & he knew that this was probably the moment he had waited his entire life, therefore he could not show any nervousness to empower Meer Farooq or allow him into thinking that he stood a chance of defeating Amaan!
Ana’s reaction was justified. She chose to stay but not as Amaan’s wife but as Meer Farooq’s daughter. It was obviously impossible for her to believe any of what she heard from Amaan about her father. All the flashbacks brilliantly showed that Ana was doubting all the things that she ever heard from Amaan. She now knows that Amaan’s only motive in life is to harm Meer Farooq & make him pay for what he has done, therefore she was left with no choice than to believe that all the things Amaan ever said to her were nothing but white lies. This entire equation is also an important development where Amaan knows what he feels for Ana but right now, she is not in the right frame of mind to even give him a chance or believe that he actually loves her. I thought Amaan was going to feel relieved knowing that he was not alone & he will get that assurance after Ana’s decision of staying with her husband but that wasn’t the case. Amaan actually felt heartbroken that Ana was now maintaining a distance from him, although he did tell her that she was innocent & was not responsible for what Meer Farooq has done but he’ll have to move a mountain to make her believe that despite the hatred that he has in his heart for Ana’s father, he has a lot more of love in his heart for her, for his wife.
Very Interesting Episode
This episode of Ye Dil Mera was definitely very interesting. I loved seeing all of their reactions & it was a brilliant judgement on the director’s part where he chose to give them equal coverage. Although Ali Baksh was pretty much in the background but even he got a lot of margin to once again showcase his loyalty towards his boss. All the actors were brilliant in this episode as well but Sajal Aly & Ahad Raza Mir were beyond amazing, especially on the scene where Amaan teased Meer Farooq & faced him with confidence, the sass Ahad displayed was actually amusing & just perfect. At some points Adnan Siddique didn’t seem as convincing but in the few ending sequences, he picked up the right attitude of disbelief & restlessness which was needed to show the shock that Meer Farooq had just endured. Also, I must add, Sajal Aly looked absolutely stunning in the scene where she told her father that she couldn’t go with him, the hairstyle, the makeup & teary eyes made her look very beautiful. The next episode seems interesting but I think the one after this one will be even better. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Ye Dil Mera.

Beautiful Shab-e-Barat Images of 2020 – Shaban is a special month for the Muslims all across the globe. It is in Shaban that the Shab-e-Barat falls. This month is considered sacred by Muslims. Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to fast a lot in this month. Sometimes he used to fast the entire month of Shaban even before Ramazan started.
Shab-e-Barat is the night of forgiveness. Those who are awake and worshipping are forgiven except for the disbeliever, hater, arrogant, someone who is disobedient to parents and alcohol addicts. Shab-e-Barat begins after Maghrib in the evening of mid Shaban.
Ali ibn Abi Talib [May Allah be pleased with him] reports that the Prophet [Peace be upon him] is reported to have said: “The night of mid-Shaban, let all of you spend in prayer and its day in fasting, for Allah descends to the nearest heaven during that night beginning with sunset and says: ‘Is there no one asking sustenance that I may forgive them? Is there no one asking sustenance that I may grant them sustenance? Is there no one under duress that I may relieve them? Is there not such-and-such, is there not such-and-such, a so forth until dawn rises”
Shab-e-Barat is the golden opportunity for Muslims to beg for forgiveness for their sins. They repent for their sins on this blessed night and fast the next day. Also, they can ask for fortunes and health, The Almighty has promised to bless them with the best. All around the world, the mosques are decorated beautifully for this blessed night. Apart from that, some people lit vigils and others gather in mosques to pray together.
The most authentic Hadith about Shab-e-Barat is as follows, ” “When it is the fifteenth night of Shaban observe prayer during the night and observe fast during the day; for Allah descends to the heaven of the world as the sun sets and says: Is there anyone to seek forgiveness so that I should forgive him? Is there anyone to seek sustenance so that I should provide him? Is there anyone in trouble so that I may relieve him? And so on and so forth, until the dawn breaks.” (Ibn Majah)
Some people also visit the graves of the loved ones who are no longer with them. Since Shab-e-Barat is the blessed night when people also ask for forgiveness for those who have left the world. Since the Islamic calendar is determined by the moon, the date of Shab e Barat changes every year.
Fireworks and distributing sweets among neighbors and children is also a common practice on this blessed day. It is also seen as the night when the fortunes of the people for the next year are decided.
