Famous artist Bindiya has been married to American Pakistani doctor Zafar Ibrahim in USA. The wedding took place on 7th September 2013. Previously Bindiya has also been part of a program on TV to search for husband. It is third marriage of Bindiya. She has a son Jahanzeb Al-Khumaish from her first marriage and also has three grand children. Bindiya reported that she is happily married and her new husband has permitted her to work in showbiz. Her son also fully supported her in this decision.

Bindiya born in 1960, belongs from an influential family. Her brothers were on key government position during General Zia ul Haq government. While her niece Vaneeza Ahmed is a leading model of Pakistan. Bindiya real name is Rubina, she started her career in late 70’s as an English newscaster from PTV Islamabad. She later acted in films, TV dramas and stage, and also followed singing. In early 90’s Bindiya took a break from showbiz and moved to USA. After a gap of about 15 years she returned to Pakistan and appeared in dramas like Meri Behan Maya on GEO Tv.

Bindiya’s first marriage was with a Palestinian/Jordanian pilot Muhammad Al-khumaish in 70’s. Al-khumaish went missing after some years of marriage and never returned to Pakistan. Bindiya’s second marriage was with a Pakistani TV/stage artist Asad in 1991, after which she moved to USA.

As per the English Daily Dawn, Bin Roye released on Eidul Fitr on last weekend is receiving overwhelming reception in different countries where it is released including Canada, USA, UK, Denmark, South Africa, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and others. It is the first Pakistani film which is released simultaneously in so many countries. The film is also doing good business in Pakistan along with the other main Urdu film Wrong Number also released on this Eid.

The film is ranked 32 on US box office and 12 on UK box office. Nearly all the shows of this film are pre-booked and in coming days it will also be released in countries like New Zealand, Singapore and Fiji where there is considerable audience of Urdu/Hindi films. The overseas success is attributed to the aggressive marketing campaign by its producers as they held its premiers in Dubai (UAE), London (UK) and Dallas (USA) with all the leading cast members

As per different unconfirmed sources the film has earned nearly 4 crore in Pakistan in one week. As per PakistaniCinema website nearly 20% of the total business of Bin Roye in Pakistan is generated from Federal Capital Islamabad.

In Pakistan tickets of multiplexes range from 400 – 600, while at single screen cinemas it starts at 100 -150 rupees. Moreover in Pakistan Urdu films are only released in two provinces namely Sindh and Punjab, and one federal territory of capital Islamabad. In the other two provinces namely KPK and Balochistan, mostly Pashto films are only released and market of Urdu films is limited in these provinces. Two other federal territories namely FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and the semi-autonomous region of Azad Jammu & Kashmir have no major cinema.

Bin Roye starring Mahira Khan is due to release on Eidul Fitr in Pakistan and on 17th July in India, UAE, UK and USA. It is the first Pakistani film simultaneously releasing in so many countries.

However before its release as per film distributor Nadeem Mandviwala, it is banned in the Indian state of Maharashtra including the cities of Mumbai and Pune. The film is banned not because of its content but solely for being a “Pakistani” film. Nadeem is the head of Mandviwalla Entertainment (ME), which distributes Indian (Bollywood) films in Pakistan apart from local films.

“Pakistani film ‘Bin Roye’ has just been banned by Maharashtra State in India. Rest of India it opens on Friday. The minutes objected cause it’s a Pakistani film,”he announced on his FB account.

This Eid Wrong no and Bin Roye are the most awaited films of this year. Both the teams of the film are doing their best to promote their films. They have been seen in almost all the leading cinemas, spending some quality time with fans. All this promotion has been welcomed very warmly by the fans. It is obvious that the film already has a huge fan following so it will be seen by many people. The fans enjoyed talking to and taking pictures with their favorite celebrities.
