Waqar Zaka is a known daring host and social worker who has always stayed in the limelight since he was first seen in his daring reality show living on the edge. We have seen Waqar for quite a while where he has been in the news for something or the other. Zaka was among the very few people who actually went to Syria to help the suffering ones there. Since then, Waqar has made sure to raise his voice with every social issue that occurs on the frontline.
It is really interesting to see that over the period of time, Waqar Zaka has not only grown as a celerity but has also evolved as an individual, and for that his changing styles have equally contributed. Here are his 25 styles that you might have noticed or perhaps missed out a few, over the periods of last decade. Have a look!
Tonight’s episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay was seriously upsetting, it is really frustrating watching Sarwar get exactly what he wants. Abdullah’s silence and ‘helplessness’ continue to make sense but that one particular scene in which he puts the ring on Shanzay’s finger even after Mahjabeen’s visit was painful to watch! I was really hoping that Abdullah will reconsider his decision and do something tangible at that time but apart from showing his unhappiness, he did not do much. This episode basically laid down the foundations for what is coming ahead. Sarwar has successfully managed to put Mahjabeen in the most vulnerable position, it remains to be seen if Abdullah will eventually leave Mahjabeen and will Sarwar get what he wants. At this point, the silence of those who could have done something is more upsetting. I felt for Mahjabeen and her family, she deserves to be happy.
The Trap
After trying everything else, Sarwar got Mahjabeen’s father arrested. Even though Mahjabeen’s father has been under so much pressure but the way he has taken a stand for his daughter is endearing. He has proved that he is a wonderful father who will never ‘trade’ his daughter’s happiness for the sake of his own convenience. Since the previous episode, Sarwar is more focused than ever and in the next episode, he might be able to convince Mahjabeen as well. It remains to be seen how Mahjabeen will get herself out of this situation since she is too innocent and more vulnerable than ever right now.
The most upsetting part was watching Mansoora act all naive and do exactly what Sarwar wanted. I was watching the episode yesterday in which Mansoora was shown suspecting Sarwar and more than ever I felt that there was a dire need to show how Mansoora changed her mind altogether. Right now we just have to assume that Mansoora wants Sarwar to stay in her life that is why she has decided to turn a blind eye and even support him. Except for Mahjabeen’s remark about the age-gap between her and Sarwar, nothing has been shown which would have indicated that she was fed up with Mahjabeen.
Shanzay and Abdullah
Shanzay might be desperate and slightly crazy but she is observant enough to know that Abdullah still has feelings for Mahjabeen. Tonight, she also played a major role in yet again convincing Abdullah that he needed to divorce Mahjabeen. Abdullah is being pressurized from all directions. Since he is the kind of person who needs the approval of Sarwar in particular therefore it makes perfect sense that even with all the love he feels for Mahjabeen, he cannot do what he wants. All of Abdullah and Shanzay’s scenes highlighted Shanzay’s insecurities and more than anyone else, she could feel that if given a choice Abdullah would have never left Mahjabeen for her. So basically Abdullah is being forced into this marriage but somehow Shanzay thinks it is alright since she is getting her own way!
So, Shanzay went ahead with the engagement even though Abdullah had not divorced Mahjabeen. While watching the engagement scene, I was thinking that there is still room for the writer to ‘redeem’ Shanzay’s character even after everything she has done. If she comes back to her senses and goes back to being the intelligent woman she was, she could turn things around. It would also be the perfect way of getting Mahjabeen and Abdullah back together but the preview of the next episode suggested something entirely different! Bilal Abbas has done exceptionally well when it comes to showing just how confused and unhappy Abdullah is. Although I was furious when Abdullah put that ring on Shanzay’s finger, I also felt that he was doing all of this because he was too weak to take a stand for himself or Mahjabeen.
Washma Is Disappointed
This time around Washma has also given up and she is seriously disappointed which obviously works in Sarwar’s favor. Washma has given up on men especially after what Abdullah did. We have never seen such a reaction from a daughter or sister in our dramas. I think this is another element of Washma’s personality which makes her refreshing and interesting. Washma and Pho’s relationship, their scenes together were a breath of fresh air since it was good to see two people who have never let each other down. Srha Asghar and Sharmeen Ali share great on-screen chemistry and are so convincing in these roles.
This time around Washma and Pho have not talked to Abdullah like they did before. While Washma anger is understandable, there was no reason why Pho didn’t talk to Abdullah about this. All Abdullah needed was some support and he could have made a better decision.
Mahjabeen’s Innocence
Just like every other episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay, the best part of this episode were all those scenes which showed just how innocent Mahjabeen is. Yumna Zaidi is beyond amazing in all such scenes, her expressions are always on point. Her dialogues about the clever girls always being the ‘mehbooba’ were so cute. She tried her best to win Abdullah over and she did too but even then she is stuck in this situation which is beyond her control. Mahjabeen’s dialogues and Yumna’s expressions in the engagement scene were the highlights of this episode. She wished Abdullah well and even apologized for being there, even though she was heartbroken. I love how Yumna makes sure she doesn’t have eye contact with anyone when Mahjabeen is going through the most difficult times and emotions. She tries to hide her pain even though otherwise she is so transparent.
Final Remarks
Although It is truly upsetting watching Sarwar win for now and the preview of the next episode did not look too promising, I am still hoping that some of the characters will surprise the viewers. Abdullah, Washma, and even Mansoora can do a great deal. I just hope that we get to see a closure which is gratifying. Even though Pyar Ke Sadqay is being stretched but I still find myself looking forward to it and I cannot disconnect myself from Abdullah and Mahjabeen. Although there were no guests at the engagement which was odd, it was the best scene tonight because everyone’s expressions said a great deal.
One of my favorite therapists shared this on her page today and I think all of these personality traits explain why Abdullah always finds it so hard to do what he wants to do. What do you guys think?

Pakistani drama industry continues to produce numerous dramas every year. Pakistani drama writers take pride in the fact that they pick realities of life and turn them into stories, in order to show the situations leading to the consequences. However, it is worth noticing that as much as the writers can focus on the positive aspects of life in order to inspire and contribute in perspective alteration of the society, they choose such subjects which are more negativity driven, achieving the rating goals that they have in mind.
There is no denying the fact that media is a mind-controlling tool, therefore a huge responsibility falls on the drama makers; starting from producers to the writers as well as directors and actors to be mindful of what they are showing to the masses. Unfortunately, a lot of negative things have been normalized as well as used in such a way that helps them sensationalize it and earn ratings on it. Every year, there are a handful of dramas that serve a purpose, and the bigger picture is unveiled which teaches the audience a thing or two. The rest of the dramas almost serve no purpose and are just made to grab the attention and ratings.
Here’s the list of those Pakistani dramas which are serving no purpose at all:
Jalan
Writer: Sidra Seher Imam Director: Aabis Raza Producer: Big Bang Entertainment Channel: ARY Digital Cast: Minal Khan, Emaad Irfani, Nadia Hussain, Areeba Habib, and others.
The promos of Jalan have given the story away and this is the reason, the audience didn’t hold back in voicing out their disappointment against the theme of the show. The story of Jalan has been seen before in Pakistani dramas repeatedly. It is a clear case of a younger sister being jealous of her elder sister and wanting everything that she has – even her husband. The drama has just begun but the story is predictable. All the episodes of Jalan will continue to show how Nisha, the younger sister will continue to woo her brother-in-law until he finally divorces his wife Misha.
The execution of the drama is definitely grand and the producers have invested a lot because maybe they know these types of controversial subjects sell and get the viewers hooked, however, if one looks at the purpose this drama is serving, one fails to find it. This is a typical masala filled drama which is showing the relationship of sister and brother in law in a questionable manner. The ending of Jalan is also very predictable where the main focus will be on Nisha’s evil antics for the entire drama and in the very last episode, she will pay the price unable to redeem herself.
Meherposh
Writer: Misbah Nausheen Director: Mazhar Moin Producer: 7th Sky Entertainment Channel: Geo TV Cast: Ayeza Khan, Danish Taimoor, Sania Saeed, Rehan Sheikh, Iffat Omar, and others.
In an interview, Ayeza Khan once mentioned that her idea of choosing a film is that of a full-on romantic story filled with a lot of drama. melodrama and action; maybe this is the reason she said yes to the script of Meherposh and also got her husband Danish Taimoor on-board. Meherposh’s story is below average. Shahjahan has always loved Mehru but failed to share his feelings. Mehru gets married and gets divorced the same day. Shahjahan is guilt-stricken and Mehru doesn’t know yet that her husband divorced her because he overheard the things Shahjahan was saying about Mehru. For now, Shahjahan is doing what it takes to show his support to Mehru but she finds him problematic.
As the story will progress, Mehru’s hatred and resentment will turn into respect and love for Shahjahan. This is all there’s to the story of Meherposh. The story is not only average but the execution makes it hard to follow. The pace of the drama is slow and it is also aiming towards a love triangle with Mehru’s younger sister Ayat having feelings for Shahjahan. The purpose of this drama maybe was to show a very dramatic love story but the execution didn’t help and everything fell flat. The side tracks of supporting characters are unimpressive as well where there’s nothing much apart from plotting, scheming and screaming. This is yet another drama which is serving absolutely no purpose at all.
Zebaish
Writer: Bushra Ansari Director: Iqbal Hussain Producer: Momina Duraid Channel: Hum TV Cast: Bushra Ansari and family
Writer Bushra Ansari tried her best to come up with a very different script, but the execution didn’t do it any favors and this is why it has left the viewers wondering about the purpose behind Zebaish? The over-the-top execution has turned Zebaish into a comedy and the viewers are finding it hard to see through the seriousness shown in the situations and relationships that the story revolves around.
This is for the first time that a drama coming from a celebrity of Bushra Ansari’s stature has been ripped to shreds by the audience because they can not look past the fact that all of her family members are a part of this project. The only purpose that seems behind Zebaish is that Bushra Ansari’s entire family came together and made a drama to kill their boredom. The purpose has been lost and the overacting done by actors along with their caricaturish characters has turned this drama into a flop.
The story of Tarap revolves around the lives of two sisters Zunairah and Hania who have been raised by their grandmother and because of what their mother did in her past, it has turned their brother overprotective to an extent of being rigidly strict. However, it is interesting to note that as much as the writer has tried to reinforce that both Zunairah and Hania are living their lives in unfavorable conditions due to lack of freedom, their activities and love interests speak otherwise.
Zunairah is shown to be the submissive sister but she too found ways to meet the guy she loved. She also casually went to meet Sir Laeeq after being invited over for lunch. Hania on the other hand is shown to be more of a rebel and she too didn’t find it hard to fall in love with a guy and make ways to meet him to her heart’s content. In this situation, their brother Adil seems like a fool for thinking he has everything in check and watches over his sisters like a hawk but they continue to do things they are attracted to and land themselves in messy situations. So many episodes have passed by and Zunairah has not been able to clarify that Sir Laeeq is blackmailing her, every time she tries to speak up, she ends up breathing heavily and only exhales air from her mouth. The title of this drama is ‘tarap’, indeed the viewers are actually feeling the same way trying to figure out the purpose of this drama.
Raaz e Ulfat
Writer: Maha Malik Director: Siraj ul Haq Producer: 7th Sky Entertainment Channel: Geo Entertainment Cast: Yumna Zaidi, Shehzad Sheikh, Hiba Bayat Khan, Komal Aziz Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Arisha Razi, and others.
Raaz e Ulfat is also one such story which has shown that Mushk comes from a super conservative background but she too finds ways to lie to her parents and have an affair behind their backs. Mushk seems to have been heavily influenced by her university friend Sahiba who has now backstabbed her to ruin her chances of getting married to Irtiza Hassan. It is very obvious that Mushk will end up getting married to recently widowed Ismail Miyan because Mushk’s parents strongly feel for him and have a lot of sympathies with his family due to the untimely death of Ismail Miyan’s wife. Irtiza Hassan seems to be an eligible bachelor but Mushk will still end up with Ismail Miyan.
This drama indeed is interesting to watch and is also being liked by the viewers but the purpose it is serving is hard to decipher. It continues to show the likes of Sahiba and Nomi in universities, which already is going to make the parents skeptical about sending their daughters to the universities. Also, all the things that Mushk has learned to do following the footsteps of Sahiba are also going to have the parents very much concerned for their daughters.
This completes the list of those dramas which are serving no purpose whatsoever. Do you think the writers should be mindful of the stories they are coming up with especially now when they directly get the feedback of the viewers? Which of these dramas are you following, sharing your opinion in the comment section below?
In a lot of dramas, for the story to progress, a character has to die. In some cases, the characters die in the end, giving the viewers a definitive closure to that character’s life and journey, and in others, they die in the middle or beginning of the story for it to continue. In recent years, Pakistani drama viewers have come across a lot of such good characters who died a tragic death and unfortunately, almost all of them were the good and doting husbands that the viewers fell in love with.
Pakistani drama writers try to show realities of life through dramas, therefore death is one such reality which can not be escaped, this is why they try to include them in their stories in order to show what goes on in the lives of those who are related to the characters that passed away. It is always sad for the viewers to see their favorite characters dying and in a lot of dramas, usually, it is the good husbands who passed away leaving their wives alone at the mercy of the cruel world. This also forces the viewers to say that these deaths could’ve been skipped because they are so attached to these characters that they do not appreciate seeing such a tragic end to their favorite characters. This aspect of any drama or story is always very heartbreaking for the viewers.
Here’s a list of all those good husbands that passed away in Pakistani dramas, leaving viewers heartbroken:
Danish (Mere Pass Tum Ho)
Danish’s character met a tragic end and as much as that seemed to be the only plausible end for him, the viewers still hoped to see Danish recovering from the heart-break, moving on in his life and getting married to Ms. Hania, finding that happiness which he well and truly deserved. The fact that his wife’s betrayal made his heartache also made the viewers sympathize with him more because he depicted the kind of love that the viewers had not seen in a long time. For Danish, his entire world was Mehwish and when she left him in such a cruel manner, he could not survive despite trying hard for his only son.
Humayun Saeed gave this character the kind of treatment which made each and every emotion of Danish come through with a lot of clarity, making it hard not to feel for him. The death of Danish’s character definitely left viewers broken-hearted but they came to terms with it knowing that this was the only way for his pain to ease.
Junaid (Khudgarz)
Another brilliant character that passed away in Pakistani drama was of Junaid from Khudgarz. He was yet another character played by Syed Jibran that showed the love a husband had for his wife selflessly. Although Junaid and Aairah get married without even knowing each other but after their marriage, they fell in love so much that Junaid feels Aairah’s pains more than she does.
Their love story was short and sweet but it left a void in the viewer’s hearts because soon after his death, Aairah passes away, showing that she could not survive without her husband. All the things that Junaid does for her wife were a treat to see and their conversations were beautiful, which showed how much they respected each other. This death in the drama came out of nowhere and the viewers were left heartbroken.
Fakhir (Khaas)
This was one such death that the viewers were not convinced of, especially when it was shown how hard Saba had to fight to be with him and what she actually went through when she was married to Ammar. Haroon Shahis gave a convincing performance in Khaas and made the viewers fall in love with the niceness that Fakhir’s character embodied. Fakhir gave Saba the confidence she yearned for, he treated her with respect and showed that she was capable of achieving all her goals and dreams.
Fakhir also always spoke about how Saba should move on in her life after his passing and eventually that’s what ended up happening. Although the writer made it all about Saba and how she was bravely living her life as a single mother because of the love Fakhir showered on her, the viewers still felt there was no need to end Fakhir’s character like that.
Saim (Meer Abru)
This was another beautiful character who was a doting husband and accepted his wife Abru against all odds and the conspiracies that were devised against her. Saim introduced Abru to the kind of love she had never known before. He showed her how respectful she was in his eyes, because of which he earned a place in her heart and overlapped the love she used to have for Meer.
Saim also left it on Abru to choose who she wanted to get married to and never once forced her to accept her love. This is the reason when his character passed away, the viewers too felt sad and grievous. He was yet another good husband that passed away in Pakistani drama. Mirza Zain Baig played the role of Saim beautifully.
Hamza (Aisi Hai Tanhai)
Although Hamza got married to the elder sister of his lady love Pakeeza, he ended up being a dutiful husband who patiently put up with whatever Kinza directed at him because he was seeking redemption and he was sorry for the mistakes he had committed. Hamza’s character showcased the struggles of a person who is guilt-stricken and can not undo the harm that was caused to the woman he loved.
His character too died a tragic death and although viewers wanted to see him and Pakeeza together, the writer had a bigger picture to project because for that to happen, Hamza’s need to divorce Kinza and it would’ve been unfair to her because Kinza too developed feelings for him seeing his niceness. Another dutiful husband who passed away and to date, this remains one of the strongest performances of Sami Khan.
Armaan (Hasad)
Armaan was yet another character that died too soon leaving his young and pregnant wife Naintara alone. Armaan was shown to be a husband who was madly in love with his wife and wanted to do everything to make her happy. Usually, viewers never get to see such husbands on screen, this is the reason his death left them sad and heart-broken.
The mistreatment Naintara was put through after his passing was heart-wrenching. Armaan’s character was short-lived but was enough to be remembered for the niceness he showcased as a husband. Shehroz Sabzwari gave a brilliant performance in Hasad but sadly it didn’t last long.
Razi (Dil Ruba)
In Dil Ruba, Razi was excited that he got married to Sanam at the spur of the moment. He immediately fell in love with his wife and had all the traits of being a dutiful husband to her. This is the reason when Sanam’s past mistakes crept their way into their marital life, instead of holding Sanam accountable, Razi decided to put it all behind them and move on because he had the decency in him to give Sanam a chance and believe her promises.
It was unfortunate that Razi too died a tragic death and what made the death of this character even more daunting was that he was unhappy and upset at the things he found out about his wife just before meeting the accident. Another beautiful character that passed away leaving the viewers heart-broken.
Which of these characters passing away made you sad? It is interesting to note that all those husbands who are good to their wives end up dying in Pakistani dramas? What is your opinion on this, feel free to share in the comment section below.
Photographs captured during photoshoots have a story to tell because they are a great way of grabbing attention. This is why a lot goes behind planning and conceptualizing a photoshoot because the imagery does all the talking and shows what the campaign is all about. There are a lot of factors that come into play in order for the photoshoots to look good and convey the message they have been designed for.
Photoshoots are for campaigns, a lot of leading designers rely on them to showcase their clothing line and collections. A lot of brands also rely on photoshoots to reach out to their target audience. Photoshoots have been around for the longest time but now with the widespread use of social media, all of the celebrities that are avid users of social media make sure that the imagery on their feed is nothing short of impressive. However, every now and then, they end up being a part of such photoshoots which are not well received by the audience and one thing or the other doesn’t work, be it the costumes they are wearing, the kind of makeup they have opted for, lighting, poses or even the overall body language is not impressive.
Here are the unimpressive photoshoots of Pakistani celebrities:
Ayeza Khan’s Photoshoot
Ayeza Khan’s feed makes it look like her life is a photoshoot and a beautiful one at that. However, this particular photo shoot was not only unimpressive but sparked a debate on her social media, which forced Ayeza Khan to come up with her part of the explanation that she felt she needed to do. This photoshoot actually is unimpressive because after the coronavirus took over the world and everything went into lockdown, the pictures of frontline workers; nurses and doctors started circulating where they showed what a struggle it was to wear a mask for hours while they struggled to save the lives of those affected with Covid-19. Their bruised faces was a testimony to how these surgical masks were keeping them protected but were also taking a toll on their bodies.
In the middle of the global pandemic, where Pakistani celebrities were doing their best to contribute and keep their fans engaged, Ayeza Khan came up with this idea that a mask can also match her clothing, because why not? This imagery is disturbing because it shows a face mask as a fashion statement and a mere matching accessory which one can casually throw on top of their dress to complete the look? She tried to fashionize masks whereas in reality, for a lot of people they are a sad reminder of the global pandemic everyone is faced with, as well as those people who are struggling with this virus and have lost their battle to it as well.
Hira Mani’s Photoshoot
In these pictures, one fails to figure out what this photoshoot is about? Is it for the promotion of shoes or a fashion label that makes formal wear for the females, or is it for a brand that makes accessories? Hira Mani has tried hard to bring in that vibe and oomph but she failed to do so. In the close-ups as well, her expressions are misleading because after looking at those images, one fails to understand what she is trying to promote or convey? The sultry makeup, sleek hairstyle with twirled strands at the side of her face do not really go with the suit that she is wearing. This definitely was an impressive photoshoot of Hira Mani.
Iqra Aziz’s Photoshoot
This photoshoot came in a magazine after Yasir Hussain proposed to Iqra Aziz in front of the whole crowd at an award function. This was their way of officializing their relationship. Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz were always in the news before their marriage for the way they projected themselves as a couple in the public, this is why as much as this photoshoot fit the bill for them, it wasn’t well-received by their fans and general audience because of the overtly public display of affection. This was probably the first time monochromatic imagery wasn’t appreciated.
Saba Qamar’s Photoshoot
This might’ve been a fun photoshoot for Saba Qamar to do and might as well go with the theme of the magazine for the month, but when these images are looked at separately, they really fail to make a mark and actually makes one question the sense and concept behind this photoshoot. Curled up hair, accessories, a lot of skin show, and clothes that fail to look cohesive make this photoshoot unimpressive. This photoshoot was not well received by Saba Qamar’s fans, this is why despite being as fierce as she is, she has turned off the comments for these images.
Kinza Hasmi’s Photoshoot
As grand as these images may look, they do not really do justice to the subject of the photo. Is the model a bride or a singer who loves to glam up while performing? The lighting is too dark and the backdrop is way darker, which eventually overlaps with the dress that Kinza Hashmi is wearing. Another thing which makes this photoshoot unimpressive is the graphic lines in Kinza Hashmi’s dress, the straight lines interrupt the flow of the image and draw attention to them which makes this image hard on the eyes. The black velvet dress against the dark-wood piano seems to merge as well, failing to do justice to the outfit which might have looked nice in a backdrop which was light and bright.
Zara Noor Abbas’s Photoshoot
Zara Noor Abbas wore this gorgeous netted gown at the Hum Style Awards 2020. As much as the outfit itself was beautiful, the effort to showcase it in these images was not approached rightly. Zara Noor Abbas ended up looking awkward and the positioning of the hands on the walls was probably another failed attempt to look stylish and diva-like. Zara Noor Abbas also went for a minimal makeup look with Hollywood waves as her hairstyle but it ended up looking too simple for an award function. The only saving grace was the beautiful gown that she wore but this photoshoot failed to do its beauty any justice.
Kiran Haq’s Photoshoot
This photoshoot of Kiran Haq in which she tried to recreate the look of an Indian bride is unimpressive. Her body language, the choice of outfits as well as her expressions fail to catch the eye for the right reasons. Kiran Haq has worked hard to stay in shape and be size zero but the clothes that she has worn seem to have been designed suited for size double zero, hence the discomfort on her face. The over voluminous hair and poker-faced expressions also make this photoshoot unimpressive. The imagery could’ve made a mark but the overall execution is poor.
Ushna Shah’s Photoshoot
This photoshoot of Ushna Shah is hard to look at. Her expressions are awkward and so is her body language. The sitting pose on the stool makes one question the purpose behind this photoshoot. She is laden in gold accessories, so maybe it was to promote a brand that deals in gold jewelry, however, the overall styling and body language takes away from the accessories and turn them into props used to make something out of Ushna.
Hina Ashfaq’s Photoshoot
Hina Ashfaq is a fashion model and she has come a long way in the fashion industry due to her hard work. This is the reason she is the face of a lot of fashion photoshoots however this one was too bold and unimpressive. She was showcasing the couture collection of a fashion label and as much as she looked glamorous, the body language and the tension in her arms can be clearly seen because it seems she too wasn’t oblivious of how bold and skimpy this gown was.

Have a look:
However, there are some actresses who have refused to work in anything related to whitening products. Iqra Aziz is one of those actresses who has always stood against whitening products.
Since the beginning, she received many offers but she straight away rejected all of them.

In her latest interview in Jashan-e-Cricket, Iqra Aziz shared the reason not endorsing whitening products.
She said, “I am not against my fellow actors/actresses who do such work but personally it’s my decision and I don’t feel right about it.”
“As a public figure if I am inspiring young girls and ladies by my strong characters in dramas then I don’t want to convince them that if they are white they will get the job and their parents will feel proud becaus of their skin tone,” Iqra Aziz added.

Muniba was born on March 3rr, 1987 that makes her pretty young for the time when her life changed completely. The very beautiful Muniba was happily married to Khurram Shahzad from 2006 till 2015. She met a disastrous accident at the age of 21 after which she was handicapped and is now the only motivational speaker who is in a wheelchair but with great enthusiasm and positivity.

As brilliant she has become as an actress since her past few dramas, Faryal Mehmood is a wonderful dancer. There is absolutely no denying the fact that Faryal dances like a dream, nailing each of her move.
There have been countless videos of Faryal where she has danced her heart out but it seems, this latest one will be our all time favorite.
Dressed in all white, Faryal flows like the wind on this beautiful track, sung unplugged by an acquaintance. To be honest ‘Saiyyan’ by Kailash Kher has never appeared so beautiful.
Aiman and Minal Khan happen to be Pakistan’s favorite twins. The sisters have always done everything together and rightfully so, ever since Aiman Khan got married to Muneeb Butt, fans have been hoping to see Minal tie the knot as well.
However, it seems, Minal has no plans of getting married any time soon. In a recent conversation with Aima Baig, Minal revealed that she still needs to find a boy like Muneeb Butt.
“Aiman found such a nice boy in Muneeb. And she hurried to get married to him. I have yet to find a guy like him, who I would want to marry,” shared Minal.
Minal also added that she was too young to get married right away. “I think I’m too young to get married right now. As it is, Aiman has given me Amal and it seems all my wishes have been fulfilled,” stated Minal.

Ahah Raza Mir is one of the most talented male actors that our industry have.
Ahad Raza Mir made his acting debut with drama serial Sammi. But the drama that gave him the real shot was Yaqeen Ka Safar.
It isn’t only fame that Ahad got from Yaqeen Ka Safar, he also found his soulmate (Sajal Aly) from YKS.
Some other dramas featuring Ahad in leading roles includes Aangan, Ehd-e-Wafa and Yeh Dil Mera.
Ahad has also been a part of mega hit movies Parwaz Hai Junoon.
Ahad Raza Mir tied the knot with his fiance Sajal Aly earlier this year. Both Sajal and Ahad are considered to be the IT Couple of of Pakistan Media Industry.
Here we have a video chip from one of Ahad’s interview in which he is mimicked Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, Hania Amir and Asif Raza Mir. Let’s have a look:
Superstar of Pakistan media industry Mahira Khan who became a household name after drama serial Hamsafar and Shehr-e-Zaat considers herself privileged enough that she got to work in Bollywood that too with Shahrukh Khan.
Mahira never forgets to talk about her working experience in Bollywood and specially with Shahrukh Khan.
Mahira has shared this many times that Shahrukh Khan was her crush and the time she was offered the film with him, she couldn’t believe it.
Here is another interview of Mahira Khan in which she talked about how she felt while working in India and she talked about Shahrukh Khan and the other cast and crew members.
Mahira said: “I really liked working in India, firstly i were working with Shahrukh which was really big deal for me. I’ve always thought that if i’d ever did a film in India I will do it with Shahrukh Khan and it was really nice working with him”
“Other then that I became so close to crew and cast members and those friendships are still alive. It took two years in the making of movie, I used to go back and forth and I used to meet with the same people” said Mahira
If we look back we will get to know that working in Bollywood and Hollywood has always been the biggest dream of most of our celebrities. Many of our current celebrities have also worked in Bollywood like Mahira, Fawad, Sajal, Adnan Siddiqui an many more. But there are rarely any actors who get offers from Hollywood.
Syra Yousuf in her Interview with Hassan Shehreyar Yasin In Tonight with HSY revealed that she actually got an offer from Hollywood and she rejected it.
When HSY inquired why she did that, Syra shared the reason.
Syra said: “I had to, what happened was; when they sent me the script, the role was a lil too bold.”
“It isn’t necessary to project everything as it is. Even if you are playing role of a mistress it isn’t necessary to get naked.”

Syra Yousuf has been inactive in media Industry for quite a while now. Recently she came up as the face of clothing brand. We hope we will get to see more of her in future.
There are a lot of Pakistani actors who have the most brilliant acting skills yet they have never worked together. Apart from the on-screen chemistry, the kind of script an actor chooses to play matters a lot. Therefore while there are some actors who would most surely make the best on-screen couples, it is also necessary that the drama they are working in together should have a quality script. Only a good script can bring out the best in any actor. Some of these actors however should surely be seen together in dramas since they would look great on-screen.
We would love to see these wonderful actors as on-screen couples in one of the upcoming dramas.
Hania Aamir and Bilal Abbas Khan
Hania Aamir and Bilal Abbas both have proved that they are remarkable actors. They were also seen together in a commercial recently but they have never worked together in a drama serial. Since Hania Aamir shares great on-screen chemistry with all her co-stars, we are pretty sure that she and Bilal will make a great on-screen character. By Playing Abdullah’s role so impressively in Pyar Ke Sadqay Bilal has shown everyone that he can play a complex role effortlessly. Hania Aamir has done a lot of bubbly and reckless characters back-to-back. All such characters went through a transformation and were punished in the end. Now, it is time for Hania to play a different role in which she can be seen in a more mature role, someone who has her life under control. Bilal and Hania will surely look fantastic on screen.
Sajal Ali and Ahmed Ali Akbar
Sajal Ali is the most versatile actress of the Pakistani drama industry. When it comes to giving the right expressions, no one can beat her. Ahmed Ali Akbar can easily be termed as the most underrated actor of the industry. He recently gave a heart-wrenching performance in drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa. Sajal and Ahmed have never worked together in a drama so one can only imagine how amazing they will be together. Both of them excel in all genres therefore the possibilities are endless. Watching them together in a beautifully penned down drama would definitely be a dream come true!
Ayeza Khan and Fawad Khan
These two Khans have the most charming looks and they are also exceptionally talented. It would be nothing short of a treat for all the Ayeza and Fawad fans to watch them pairing up in a drama. Fawad Khan does really well even if the character he is playing is simple and Ayeza would do wonders in a role different from the ones she has been seen in recently. Maybe, this could be the perfect pairing for Ayeza Khan’s debut on the big screen!
Srha Asghar and Ahad Raza Mir
Srha Asghar has shown her versatility and prowess as an actress by playing the role of Washma impeccably well on screen in drama serial Pyar Ke Sadqay. Ahad Raza Mir has proven his versatility time and again through different roles, he has played in some of the recent drama serials. If these two are cast together in a project, they will make the perfect on-screen couple. Srha Asghar has yet to make an impact in a leading role, if she is shares screen with Ahad Raza Mir it will be the best way to make an impactful appearance in a leading role.
Neelam Muneer and Syed Jibran
It is actually surprising that these two actors have never played the leading role as an on-screen couple in any of the dramas. They worked in Qaid-e-Tanhai together but they did not have a single scene together since Syed Jibran’s character was part of the past rather than the present. Neelam Muneer has given some exceptional performances recently and Syed Jibran also won the viewers over by his superb performances in his latest dramas. Syed Jibran has largely been typecast after Chup Raho therefore it will be good to see him in a different role opposite Neelam Muneer, who is constantly seen playing different roles.
Do you want to see all these Pakistani actors as on-screen couples in dramas? Wouldn’t they look great together if they are part of a drama that offers something new and appealing? Share your views and don’t forget to add to the list.

Out of many controversial celebrities of Pakistan, it would not be wrong to consider Mathira to be the oldest and the quickest in the list. The midnight live show host started her showbiz career with a local channel and soon, for her boldness and divisiveness, Mathira earned a huge prominence among the viewers. Ohkay so, in this episode of Kashf, the entire focus was on how Imtiyaz was coming up with one plan after another to expand this family business. This was yet another well-directed episode of Kashf. The story however is not making a lot of progress & as much as the drama overall is very engaging, as a viewer I have to fish out for the developments to discuss because they’re very few in each episode. I guess by this time, the viewers should get used to this kind of pace because it seems only a few scenarios will unfold in every single episode with the story mainly revolving around Imtiyaz & Kashf’s equation.
Imtiyaz & Kashf’s Plans
At the beginning of this episode, the light was shed on how far Imtiyaz was ready to go to control Kashf. All the nice things he says to her every now & then basically have no meaning because his actions & behavior repeatedly contradict the act that he puts up of being that courteous & considerate father to her. Unfortunately, he doesn’t mind resorting to such extremes & sadly, no one dares to oppose him.
In this episode, I was pleasantly surprised when Kashf took a stand for herself. Honestly speaking, when I saw Imtiyaz locking her up in the room, I was wondering how long she was going to put up with this kind of treatment but I am glad they decided to show that Kashf very well knew how to take charge of the situation. Although she knows there’s not much that she can do but at least she has started to set some limits because she is aware of the fact that her father is going to abide by all the rules for his selfish reasons. Kashf will get to exercise some authority as far as she does everything that does not get in the way of her father’s bigger plans such as earning a lot of money.
The recurring dreams that Kashf sees about Wajdan & Zoya’s wedding are becoming a little repetitive. Although I do understand that they are recurring & this is exactly what has been shown but I was relieved after watching the promo of the next episode because it seems Kashf is finally going to do something about it to get done with this chapter in her. She has invested a lot of time & knows that nothing’s going to happen, therefore it is wise of her to plan things in such a way that will eventually make her dream come true & that will also serve as a closure for her, which she needs.
The word has spread & this is why people have started to approach Kashf. The entire situation where a male wanted to see Kashf was very interesting especially because she used it to her advantage. I loved seeing how Kashf convinced her father to give the money earned by ladies to her mother & keep the amount given by gents who’d come to see her. This goes to show that Kashf wants to do much more for Dilshad than for Imtiyaz because he will never let go of the money that he will continue to make if Kashf will not put her foot down. Appointing Wajdan was also a good idea because this way she will ensure that he doesn’t do anything irrational & stays engaged with the Asthana. Kashf still has a lot more faith & confidence in Wajdan than she has in her own father, it is unfortunate but convincingly shown how parents often turn a blind eye to the feelings of their children & mistake their silence out of respect as their weakness.
There were a lot such moments which were so meaningful in this episode – like the one where Kashf wanted to appoint Wajdan & told her father that she wanted someone who’d keep a check on who comes in to see her. Imtiyaz obviously couldn’t understand what she meant but it showed that Kashf exactly knows how her father will not put much thought to it if anyone will promise him a handsome amount. The letter Kashf wrote to Wajdan was also really nice & his reaction to it was really cute, he didn’t quite understand where she was coming from but at least he decided to keep her promise. I must also add, the relationship Wajdan & Shumaila share is refreshing too, they support each other & the light-hearted moments they share truly represent a healthy sibling relationship.
I will say I am a little disappointed with Ashi at this stage of the story because all she does is just observe & stay silent to the unjust behavior of Imtiyaz, that too after it has been shown what she is capable of & how she really can come up with different solutions. If she doesn’t want to meddle in the affair of Asthana, that’s perfectly fine but the entire situation where Imtiyaz locked Kashf in the room, I thought she’d be the one to take a stand for Kashf & give Imtiyaz a much-needed reality check. I really hope in the future episodes, we do get to see her doing something than just being a silent spectator.
Well Executed Episode
Overall, this episode of Kashf was an interesting watch like all the previous episodes have been but I guess there’s a little slump in the progress of the story but it doesn’t take away the fact that it still keeps my interest as a viewer alive. All the dream sequences are intelligently executed & make up the most interesting part of every episode. I will, however, say that I want Zoya & Wajdan to get married so that those recurring dreams stop & Kashf moves on – however the rest of the dreams she sees which include Wajdan do hint that despite his marriage, he will stick around & Kashf will still be attached to him emotionally. Waseem Abbas, Hira Mani & Junaid Khan are making Kashf what it is coupled with the brilliant direction of Danish Nawaz. Please share your thoughts about this episode of Kashf.
These days, Mohib Mirza is winning hearts left right and center with his performance as Hatim in ARY Digital’s Dushman-e-Jaan. However this isn’t the first time Mohib Mirza has delivered a commendable performance. In his entire career, that spans over 2 decades and has films and dramas included, Mohib Mirza has delivered some soul shaking performances and won awards for those too.
Mohib is one of those actors who are unconventionally good looking and very talented. We say unconventionally good looking because Mohib perfectly fits the bill of a “tall, dark and handsome” man which unfortunately doesn’t meet the fairness standards of our industry.
And Mohib himself, is very much aware of this. In a recent interview with Something Haute, Mohib Mirza shared how he had had to let go of a number of leading film scripts because the directors required him to lighten his complexion.
“I won’t name but I’ve been approached by top directors for films that I had to reject. According to the directors I was perfect for the role if only I could lighten my skin tone by getting whitening injections. And I being myself, simply rejected the roles saying if that was my selection criterion for a director, I simply couldn’t work with them,” shared Mohib.
Mohib also shared that he had never felt bad about rejecting such top scripts but instead challenged writers and directors who worshipped fair skin to travel with him to Europe and America where he said people absolutely loved our brown skin tone.
On the work front Mohib Mirza can be currently seen in Hum TV’s Dil Ruba and ARY Digital’s Dushman-e-Jaan.

However, Bushra Ansari didn’t like the review and she posted a harsh comment on the review.
Bushra Ansari wrote, “What a pathetic time for our dramas.. cheap low class person can just comment rubbish stuff abt the hard work n creative efforts of artists. What criteria they ve about this field? I don’t get it. Why people are watching such a shallow paindoo style of them… its a sin to destroy people s integrity.”
She also wrote, “This is cheap commentary.. if u don’t like any drama don’t watch it.. but this is gutter level of commenting on somebody’s hard work… actually when people ve nothing to do they get jealous of those who are doing something. Uff jahalat in their mouth is so obvious.. Allah aqal day air ba izzat rozi bhi naseeb kary.. its haram to destroy peoples future.. and make your income.. they are the CORONAS IN OUR LIVES.. ALLH WILL FINISH THEM INSHALLAH..”
Here is Bushra Ansari’s comment:
After posting this comment, Bushra Ansari deleted her comment but her comment spread like fire.
Galaxy Lollywood took notice of this and commented on this matter. They wrote:
“Bushra Ansari recently posted and deleted a very harsh judgment of our beloved Amma and her drama reviews. We’d like to formally address the points she’s raised instead of engaging in petty name-calling. Amma is not and has never claimed to be a critic. She is simply a house wife who enjoys watching dramas and thus, representative of majority of our drama viewers.”
“We make sure to give credit where it’s due and have always tried to provide unbiased reviews which our follower family has greatly encouraged. Lastly, let’s all learn to take criticism and collectively work for the betterment of our drama industry instead of making personal attacks. After all, it’s Pakistan and our industry above everything. 🙏🏻 P.s: In the midst of a pandemic, it really doesn’t suit such influential celebrities to call a motherly figure corona and to wish death upon a family!”
People are calling out Bushra Ansari for her rude comment and demanding an apology from her. #IStandWithAmma is trending on social media and people want Bushra Ansari to say sorry.
