Soon after wards Fakhar-e-Alam tweeted about their condition in which he said that Ayesha had suffered multiple injuries and Azfar had an injury on the head. Fans were happy to know that the two were in stable condition.
Ayesha Omar and Azfar have not talked about the accident or their injuries since it happened. Ayesha finally decided to break the silence on her facebook page. She shared everything from how the accident happened to what her condition was after that. She wrote,
“As you all must know, I’ve broken my right collar bone and fractured my right shoulder. The last three days have been excruciatingly painful and i got no sleep the first 2 nights despite a mixture of heavy painkillers and sedatives. Finally got a few hours last night and I’m back home from the hospital. I didn’t lose consciousness at the time of the accident despite being in agonising pain and my first thought was of gratitude. I was shocked and grateful to be alive and wanted to be out of the car as soon as possible but was not allowing anyone to touch me because I knew I had broken something in my shoulder and didn’t want to be mishandled.”
Talking about the accident she wrote,
“We hit an overtaking truck on the highway just before Hyderabad and had two collisions due to being bumped into by another truck from the back. It’s a miracle that me and Azfar came out alive because the car was completely destroyed. I was immobile and picked up by Azfar and a group of passersby and put into a police mobile that transported us to a rundown government clinic in Jamshoro. My next few thoughts were a mixture of extreme terror of being kidnapped or mugged by dacoits on the highway taking advantage of our vulnerable situation and of thousands of little kids strewn on the ground after various explosions in the world, with no one to help them and give them any medical help.”
The good thing was that Azfar although had a head injury but he was fine otherwise. Ayesha further said,
“Luckily Azfar was in complete control despite sustaining a minor head injury and it was him who took care of me for the next 3 hours in Jamshoro and during the excruciating, bumpy and never-ending 4 hour drive alone in an ambulance back to Khi. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have made it back safely and God knows how I would’ve been handled. Those 6 hours were the toughest few hours of my life and Azfar Rehman protected and cared for me like I was his own child. God bless him a hundred times over and may everyone have friends like him in their lives. He’s proved to be the most amazing friend and care-taker ever. He helped me endure my pain, deal with the trauma and panic, kept wiping my unstoppable tears, and kept me hydrated till we reached Khi. From there on, it was just x-rays and painkillers.”
Talking about what Ayesha wants to do next. She said,
“I’m in too much pain, too exhausted and weak to pick up the phone and talk all the time but will be able to do so and meet people from day after. Recovery time is 6-8 weeks and I’ll be home bound mostly. A much-needed break from my crazy lifestyle. Just wanted to share my experience and thank you all for the boundless love and wishes.”
She also mentioned how thankful she was to her friends who were by her side in this troubled time. She wrote,
“Maria Wasti, Erum Shahid, Alexandre Rizvi, and Mahnoor Sherazee have been by my side throughout and I could not ask for better care-givers. They did not wince once and have taken care of me beyond any expectations while being in constant touch with my poor stressed mum who was unable to travel immediately. I love you guys and cannot thank you enough. I hope I’m able to do the same for you all, if (God forbid) need be.”

“The story is about Balochistan, it’s about foreign entities there and how the people of Balochistan sacrificed a lot and went through a lot of hard times to regain peace in the region. It’s about everything they gave up; it’s the story of students, of journalists,” shared Ayesha Omar with Images.
Dhai Chaal will see Ayesha Omar paired opposite Shamoon Abbasi, who will be playing the role of an Indian RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav, who created chaos in Balochistan.
Alongside Shamoon and Ayesha, Dhai Chaal will also star Adnan Shah Tipu, Rasheed Naz, Saleem Mairaj, Humayun Ashraf, Pakiza Khan alongside talented theatre actors from Baluchistan. The film has been penned down by Farheen Chaudhry and is being directed by Taimoor Sherazi.
Dhai Chaal is being produced by Dr. Irfan Ashraf, an anchor who has been working in the region of Balochistan for the past 15 years. According to Ayesha Omar, she was drawn to the project because of the dedication of producer Irfan Ashraf and the theme of the film, which really appealed to her.
Ayesha Omar is included in the cast of film WAAR2 as main female lead instead of Ayesha Khan who was seen in the same role in WAAR1. The other cast of WAAR2 includes Shaan and Hamza Abbasi. Talking about her personal incident of being harassed, Ayesha shared, “Because I have been through harassment in my life and career, I understand how it feels. I don’t have the courage to talk about it yet, maybe someday I will but I can totally relate to everybody who has been through it.”

Ayesha also shared that she is a famous name and she was bleeding through the pelvic region and though she was dying of pain, she had to think of how people can misinterpret this. She covered her face and went to the hospital. THe doctor was also surprised by the extent of injury and how she was still holding up. Ayesha then got surgery after 3 hours of suffering and she was able to walk in 4 weeks.
She shared how safety is not even a thought for workers in Pakistan and how you have to fend for yourself always. Ayesha also talked about how there are no liability laws in Pakistan if something like this happens. This is what she said:

Ayesha Omar is currently starring in one of the most long-running sit-com Bulbulay. It’s been 11 years since Ayesha is playing the character of Khoobsorat. In a current interview with Mira Sethi Ayesha shared the secret behind the success of Bulbulay.
“What is the secret behind the success of Bulbulay?” asked Mira Sethi.
“I think consistency. All the four characters and the way we have started, if one of them leaves the show or says that now I am tired of it, I want to move on from this, the show will end. We are all irreplaceable. You know someone else’s energy will add on and a new dynamic will be created” Ayesha continued “I think we are all very consistent and dedicated to it and we all literally work like a family now.”
Ayesha Omar is a big name from Pakistan Media Industry. Ayesha Omar’s one of the most famous character is of Khoobsorat in comic series Bulbulay.

In her interview Ayesha Omar gave an insight into her life. Ayesha Omar talked about her personal life her father’s demise and also how her mother struggles for her children and the kind of circumstances she faced during her childhood.
Ayesha told that her father died when she was 2 years old. He was working as a chair person in their family company that dissolved after his death. His mother was in trauma and she couldn’t fought for her rights. Her mother started teaching in a high profile school and Ayesha and her brother got admission in that school too on merit scholarships because they couldn’t afford the fees of that school. Even after getting admission in school without fees other expenses like school books etc.were also unaffordable for them In order to make both ends meet Ayesha Omar’s mother bought a school van on installments and started giving pick and drop to the school kids. Ayesha said that from the childhood she knew that she has to get independent. She used to do all her chores herself since childhood.
Ayesha also talked about being stylish. She said last years she got awards for being the most stylish media figure. She said that if she look few years back she couldn’t even imagine that people would think she has any fashion sense or she can give any fashion advice because when she was young she was least likely to get new cloths.
She used to wear clothes of her cousins and she never had access to so many beautiful clothes. She said that her school friends belongs to very rich families and she used to wish that she could also get an access to all this.
And now when she has all those things in her life she longed for she feels unreal.
Best known for her role as Khoobsurat, Natasha in Ladies Park, Sara in Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Ayesha Omar has become one of the most ought after star of Pakistani industry. Just recently, Ayesha Omar was enjoying vacations in Turkey.

“If a person has collected the strength to speak up about an injustice or something that has been bothering her or has been in her heart for a while, the way we, as a nation react, the way we slander, negate and we are so in utter denial of it is disturbing,”
The ‘Karachi Se Lahore’ starlet expressed her inability to share her own experiences due to a lack of strength to discuss it at this time.
“I hope, someday I have the strength and I am brave enough to talk about it but when people like Meesha or others who have the courage to speak up against harassment are accused of trying to pull publicity stunts.”
She continued,
“The initial reactions to Meesha’s statement were that she was doing it for money or publicity but what publicly is she to gain out of accusing somebody of harassing her. All publicity is not good publicity and she is only gaining negative publicity out of this. All she is getting is vulgar comments, angry comments, and accusations. I know she is a strong, bold and outspoken woman and she will not stand any injustice…she will speak up about it.”
She further exerted how important it is for everyone to have examples of strong women like Meesha who help others find their voice too,
“It has taken Meesha so long to speak about something that has been happening since years and she didn’t have the strength to talk about it, so think about all those women who go through sexual harassment on a daily basis and they don’t have the strength and courage to talk about it publicly or in their families.”
In response to a question about Ali Zafar’s response to the matter, Ayesha said the singer has the right to deny anything said against him if there is no proof of it.
“If someone says something about me tomorrow, I will also deny it, but it doesn’t mean that the honesty or intentions of a person talking about an experience they have undergone should be doubted.”
Ayesha Omar has always been known as someone who is confident and daring. Her item number “Tutti Frutti” in the film “Karachi se Lahore” was appreciated and criticized at the same time. There are some viewers who think that it is okay for Pakistani films to have these item numbers but there are many others who feel that we are following in the footsteps of India and we should not add these item numbers to the films.
Ayesha Omar has never talked about how it was for her to do this item number because she has never done anything like this. In Nadia Khan Show Ayesha Omar shared details which will surprise people. She said,
“I have performed a lot on stage since childhood so I always had a lot of stage confidence. Director Wajahat, who is like a friend told me that there will be a song in the film but we have not yet decided whether there will be a group performance or something different. Finally when the idea evolved into an actual decision, it was decided that I will be performing alone with all these people surrounding me. I told Wajahat I could not do it. He said of course I could and asked me to relax. It was easier said than done.”
Talking about it further Ayesha said that she fractured her toe two days before the shoot which made things more complicated. She said,
“I wanted the shoot to be delayed but because all the arrangements had already been made, it could not be delayed. When I got to the set on the day of the shoot and saw the stage and the people there, I forgot all about the pain in my toe and was scared to do this in front of all these people. I thought I can’t do this. I literally had tears in my eyes. I said to the director, I will only do it if your wife does it first and he said of course she can do it!”

But the other people who were around, some of them were hired and some of them were just random people who had come to watch. I decided to talk to this crowd and said I was doing this for the first time so I wanted them to cooperate with me.”
Ayesha Omar said that she does not let what people in the social media say about her effect her for a long period of time because people say whatever they want to but it is not necessary that you should take it to heart.

I’d take this, anyday, with open arms and boundless gratitude.
