Shaista Lodhi decided to say what was on her mind before leaving her show. She said that she had decided not to get too emotional but emotions came naturally and she had tears in her eyes while sharing her experiences and thoughts.
She said,
“Like every other woman, I have also been through some tough times in my life but no matter what was going on in my life, I always put a smile on my face while hosting my shows. These shows and my fans who watched them gave me the strength to go on with life even when things got very difficult. These shows have been a huge blessing for me.”

Shaista Lodhi’s Debut Drama “Waada”
As known earlier that Shaista Lodhi is making her debut in the drama serial which was previously known as Khwaab Nagar but now it is titled as” Waada”. The play is produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi. The direction of the play is done by Syed Atif Hussain and written by Samina Aijaz.
The drama will also be starring Faisal Qureshi, Hasan Ahmed, Saboor Ali, Anum Tanveer, Fahad Sheikh, Ghazala Butt, Noshaba Javed, Ismat Iqbal and others.
Shaista is quite famous amongst the audience as a host , as she has been hosting a number of shows. Previously she was hosting a show on Sitaray ki Subah on HUM Sitaray which she then quit and currently does a morning show on SEE TV.

Shaista was asked if she was scared to get married for the second time on which she replied saying, “obviously I was scared because I was with my kids and second marriage is more difficult and fragile as compared to the first marriage and you have already been through the struggle and difficult times in your first marriage and you rethink of your decision before ending it but such things don’t happen in a second marriage because a couple has not grown together for years but I and my partner both understand such things and we value our relationship and trust eachother.”
