Coronavirus is becoming a real threat in Pakistan. Cases are on the rise and two deaths have been reported because of the virus. While a number of people have locked themselves inside their houses, there is a good majority of people out there who don’t want to take coronavirus seriously.

And for such people, Shehzad Roy has a message!

The singer, recently took to his social media to not only give people a reality check but also hilariously jab at people who don’t really want to take any precautions in these difficult times.

Although funny, what Roy has pointed out is indeed the dilemma of our society. People need to wake up and get themselves sorted out before this pandemic becomes a major threat in Pakistan.

Because even though Allah Malik Hai, but even Allah helps those who help themselves!

Pakistani singer and activist Shehzad Roy has released a video that aims to create an environment which accepts change of teaching methods in all the 33 matric boards operating across Pakistan — as the culture of critical thinking starts at school.

In an interview with Mehar Bukhari, Shehzad Roy explained, ‘‘It has nothing to do with curriculum or syllabus, now I wish to give you an example that students are asked about Greenhouse Effect in exams and they write the standard answer which they memorised through rote learning but we want them to change the question slightly and ask the student about the causes of the effect, this will increase reasoned learning.”

Responding to criticism, he clarified that the video is not making monsters out of teachers or parents but is against all the people and professionals who are in any way extremists.

“There are instances where teachers have beaten children to death and we don’t want even parents to take extreme measures against their children’s wishes or queries.”

Shehzad Roy’s efforts have been applauded by many people including celebrities like Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi.

Shehzad Roy is not just a musician but he is also a star like no other because he has done so much to improve the conditions of the people in the country. Shehzad Roy is a man on a mission who does not only want to make music for his country but he also wants to make a difference. Shehzad has looks and talent but he never ventured into acting until now.

When the singer and social activist was invited to Reham Khan’s talk show on Dawn he revealed that he was going to be acting in a commercial Pakistani film which will be released at the end of the year.

The film will be written by the distinguished writer Anwar Maqsood. It looks like the film has a very impressive script because it convinced someone like Shehzad Roy who never even considered acting to act in it. While talking about his acting career her said, “I never actually intended to do a film. But when the concept was presented to me, it was hard to say no.”

In the interview Shehzad Roy said that he has always tried to convey some kind of a social message through his songs and now through this film he will be have a much bigger opportunity to educate the masses in some way.

Shehzad Roy said the film has it all, romance and satire. He also said that people will see a very different side of him in the film. He said, “The film is very thought provoking, it will make you feel like you are sitting in a Pakistani cinema.” because he said that people will be able to relate to what they see on the big screen.

Shehzad said that Pakistani nation is very emotional and you will see all these emotions in the film.

All of us are very familiar of songs  “Tera Kangna jab khankay” and “tere waadoun ka maine aitebaar..”. Yes, I am talking about none other than Shehzad Roy. Till now,I havent came across any singer who tried every style of singing and proved to be versatile singer.From “Ya Rab dil e muslim ko” to “Kya pyaar yehe hai”,every single song of him impressed me and forced me to applaud. So,all fans of Shehzad Roy in Los Angeles,get ready for Shehzad Roy’s rocking performance in Musical Gala soon.

I want to add up here that Shehzad Roy will be performing for fund raising. As we all know that Shehzad is working for a very noble cause of education of children  and improve education of public schools in Paksitan.He is running a non-profit organization of his own, named as Zindage Trust.

For there  cause,Guns N’ Roses’ will also be there to perform with him. Guns N’ Roses’ drummer, Matt Sorum, is working for arts education in US and for that he has also joined his hands with Shehzad to give a mind blasting musical performance.He is also running an NGO named as Adopt the Arts.

Both of them have joined hands for similar cause – education.My well wishes are with them. Hope they will get success in every field of life.

Yesterday singer Shehzad Roy announced that he will be receiving Sitara-e-Imtiaz on 23rd of March 2018 in Islamabad on his Twitter.

He tweeted,

Earlier this month the singer had represented Pakistan in the UN convention held in Austria as National Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

When Shehzad Roy sang his romantic number “Tera kangana jab chankay” in a show and Waseem Akram translated the song lyrics to his wife. It was then Shaneira Akram got very emotional and had tears in her eyes. No matter that she do not understand Urdu that well but she got really touched by the way Shehzad sang and her husband explained lyrics to her.

Coronavirus is rapidly spreading around the globe. Its high time that we all take it seriously and start taking precautions.

Shehzad Roy released a video message to share some tips to save yourself from Coronavirus.

He said, “I got the opportunity to visit CM house and meet the task force assigned to deal with Coronavirus. I am glad that the Government is taking it seriously because it is a serious situation.”

The singer continued, “I just want to request to those who are listening that please don’t shake hands even if they find it offensive. Don’t do public gatherings whether its wedding or religious gatherings.”

He shares that he was passing by Sea View and he felt like people are celebrating New Year’s or some kind of vacations. He said, “We need to behave like noble creature as this is a serious situation. We don’t need to panic but protect each other.”

He advised that we must practice social distancing and don’t go out unless we have some important work to do.

Shehzad Roy is a Pakistani singer, social worker, and humanitarian. He started his singing career in 1995 and has recorded six albums since. Shehzad Roy is also the president and founder of the Zindagi Trust, a non-government charitable organization that strives to improve the quality of education available to the average Pakistani. 

Other than a tremendous singer Shehzad Roy is an amazing father. He spends most of his spare time with his son. Shehzad shares a special bond with his five-year-old son. They talk about the good things, learn informative things, and enjoy little moments together. 

Recently, Shehzad Roy shared a cute moment of his son on his social media account. The two were having a Father-Son time in their living room. He was helping his son with his Urdu homework. He asked him to name and color the objects. To which he replied Tomato and Dhoop. The 5-year-old knows that the sun gives us sunshine-dhoop. That was a proud moment for Shehzad Roy.
