Yes, I have a problem speaking Urdu, but in Bismil I was an American return girl, so it went okay. Also, I am the kind of person who can perfectly speak Urdu if given a pure Urdu character. For the Bismil audition, I wore desi clothes, and I spoke Urdu. Aehsun sir asked me if I could speak English, and then I switched on my American accent. It was deliberate that I acted as a Desi girl because I knew I was going to give an audition for a Pakistani drama.”
