On being asked how he got the film, he said, “Ammar called me for the film that he was making with his wife, so I asked him to send me the script and it was very detailed, with the minutes marked for every scene,” Khan recalled. “But I did have a lot of questions, so they sent me their show reels when I asked them about how they planned on executing the story and they told me they’d minored in cinematography as well. And I was completely sold when I met them, after I signed onto the film, and they narrated the script to me. They were very clear about what they wanted and had done their homework.”

On Kaaf Kangana he said, ““It’s a very nice script and I’m lucky to be a part of it. There’s great responsibility on my shoulders as well, which is why I haven’t done any drama for about eight months now; I’ve given my all to the film. And the advantage we have is that Khalil sahab is directing also, so he knows how to translate his script on celluloid. His dialogues aren’t plain lines to read out, they’re lyrical and poetic, and I couldn’t deliver them at times, so he’s been there to guide me through. I’ve learnt how acting in films need to have those dramatic pauses, to make it all look larger-than-life.”

On why he chose to do Wrong No. 2. He replied, “In all these years, I’d never worked with Yasir until Khudgharz, last year. And he pushed me to do a negative role, so I enjoy being challenged; for an actor, comedy is the most difficult genre to attempt. I think after suspense and an intense romance, this would be a relief for cine-goers as well. I hope people can forget logic, buy their popcorn and just have a good laugh; go home smiling.”

“It’s a very sad incident. I and Asma Abbas were on set. We were doing the normal shooting. During lunch break when we were having lunch we heard a sound and I thought something broke outside, but afterward, people started making a lot of noise and one of our crew members said that there had been a gunshot”

“Basically, the crew members were eating food and the attitude of the house guard was very fishy since the beginning. After an argument, the guard fired. Even though it was an AK47 but thank God no one got shot. since the bullet touched the marble but a few of our crew members got injured because of the marble pieces. But 7th Sky Entertainment filed a case against the guard also they took responsibility for the treatment of injured crew members” said Sami Khan.

Talking about his new project Sami khan disclosed that “Phaans is my new upcoming project. This script had a huge cast including Zara Noor Abbas, Shahzad Sheikh, Kinza Hashmi, Zain Afzal, Yashma Gill and many more”.

“It is a big project. Ahmad Kamran is the director. The script no doubt is very interesting. I didn’t wanted the dramas to go on air together but because of corona it happened. Saraab was the first one I signed, then Phaans and the most recent I signed was Dulhan but unfortunately it went on air before Phans”, added Sami.

Further Sami said that “Shahzad Sheikh is playing a very difficult and different role. Zara is playing a very strong character which she had not done before. It is a issue based and intense story. Everyone has done a wonderful job”.

Sami Khan, Ali Sikandar and Javed Sheikh are coming in a feature film together which has been shot in Thailand, Sami Khan, Javed Sheikh and Ali Sikandar were in Thailand previously for some days and were posting the pictures however they didn’t reveal the details but Sami Khan gave a hint about their visit to Thailand, he said that I am in Thailand for a project along with Javed Sheikh and yes it is a feature film , the genre, story and details of the films aren’t disclosed yet.

Saman revealed that her second husband was Nadia Afgan’s friend and he saw her when she posted a picture with Saman. He liked her at once and asked Nadia that he wanted to meet her. Her husband however, kept asking Nadia to arrange a meeting between them and they finally met in Boston where he proposed to her at once.
