Nadia Khan has great confidence, no one can deny that and that is why when she invites guests at her show and asks them personal questions, they are intimated by the confidence with which she inquires about their personal lives. Muhammad Aamir however proved to be a different guest who connected every question with Nadia Khan’s own life in some way. We should take lesson from such death, but I have seen us people don’t take lesson; instead, they tribute them. Mufti Abdul Qavi is often part of controversies and this time he has again become part of another controversy.

In his interview, he said that beverages which contain less than 40% of alcohol are “halal”.

His statement was quite shocking and even the host was shocked after listening to it.

Qavi made these claims when he was giving an interview to an online portal. He said this in response to some fatwa issued by clerics in Saudi Arabia about beverages containing 40% alcohol are halal.

Mufti Abdul Qavi said, “In my view, the beverage which has less than 40% alcohol is halal. By halal means, you can drink it.”

He added, “The alcohol which is derived from minerals is absolutely halal.”

He compared paan with alcohol and said, “The other ulemas eat paan (betel leaf) which contains tobacco is halal then I can say alcohol is halal too.”

Recently, Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman appeared in Nadir Ali’s podcast in which he opened up about the death of his young ailing son. Talking about his son, Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman said, “I had the only son, Zia Ur Rehman, who suffered from cancer at a young age. If the tumor is exposed early, it is cureable but if the tumor is inside the body, it blocks the whole system till the diagnoses. My son was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the third or fourth stage. We got his treatment done, He had 12 sessions of chemotherapy, later on, the cancer re-occurred in his body and at that time it was incurable. A model court in Multan sentenced Qandeel Baloch’s brother Muhammad Waseem, the prime suspect in the social media star’s murder case, to life imprisonment. The rest of the suspects who were nominated in the case included, Mufti Abdul Qavi, Aslam Shaheen, Haq Nawaz, Abdul Basit, and Muhammad Zafar Hussain were acquitted by the court. 

Today, Mufti Abdul Qavi talked to BBC news after being acquitted in the Qandeel Baloch murder case. He told media that Muhammad Waseem confessed his crime and therefore he will be in prison for the rest of his life. No evidence was found against Abdul Qavi related to the murder case that’s why he is respectfully freed from the case.

In a recent interview, Hareem Shah clarified the whole controversy and shared details about her controversy with Mubashir Luqman.

Hareem Shah shared the story and said, “The real story was that many people didn’t know that Mubashir Luqman had a private plane. Everyone got to know because of us. The entire nation got to know about his plane because of us.”

He started this khara such with saying that there are some Morning Shows he really dislikes. He was very blunt while sharing his opinion. He said,

“In my opinion Javeria Saud should not host the program she is hosting on Express Entertainment. She keeps on laughing all through the show, it would be nice of her if she can do some talking too.”

He begged Sahir Lodhi to spare everyone and he especially requested him to stop singing in his shows. He said that his singing was unbearable. Talking about Nadia Khan he said,

“Nadia Khan is a terrible flop. Nadia Khan has lost her magic, she gave morning shows their real meaning but her touch is totally missing from her show now. There are several reasons for it and one reason is that whether it is Nadia Khan or Reham Khan, they are one of those unfortunate people with whom no producer wants to work. The reason for that is that they are always fighting with their production teams.”

He said that Nadia Khan is not a team player. He also said,

“The worst anchor, content wise, is Nida Yasir. Someone will have to work very hard to do a program worse than her.”

Shaista Lodhi is all set to make a comeback on Pakistani television. She will be seen hosting her own show on HUM TV. Shaista has already made her first guest appearance in Faysal Qureshi’s show on HUM. She is very happy to be back. Mubashar Lucman also interviewed Shaista for his show. The promos of the interview show a very emotional Shaista crying while telling how she got stuck in a fight between two big channels.

Gone are the days when Ramazan meant hardly any television. There was a time when there was only PTV that even drama serials did not air during the holy month of Ramazan and everything on television either covered only news shows or something which was directly related to the month of Ramazan. This was done because even the television authorities wanted to reinforce the belief that this month should be dedicated to prayers and recitation of Quran.

There is a recent trend now of hosting special Ramazan transmissions which are not entirely depicting the true spirit of the month. This trend is being followed by more and more channels with every passing year. These Ramazan transmissions are a mixture of entertainment shows with some talk about Ramazan here and there. According to the concerned channels and hosts the Ramazan transmission ends with Iftar and after that the hosts are seen using any tactic they can in order to get ratings.

Mubashar Lucman was seen bashing Morning Shows few weeks back, now he has shown his anger with the things that are being shown in the name of Ramazan transmission. He condemned in two different shows not only the people who are hosting these shows but also those religious scholars who become part of all such shows. He said that firstly people whose character is unacceptable for many reasons are hosting Ramazan transmissions. He said that these people dance and sing all year and in Ramazan they tell people how to be good Muslims. He also showed some outrageous clips from these Ramazan shows and questioned the Ulemas who chose to stay silent because they too want to be a part of these transmissions so that they can earn money.

He stressed that these hosts should stop making a mockery of the holy month of Ramazan. He said that a lot of people were making mistakes but right now everyone was quite. Mubashar Lucman also said that these acts can effect the whole nation in a bad way and this thought was giving him sleepless nights. These shows are undermining the true spirit of Ramazan.

Mubashar Lucman is certainly one of those celebrities who know how to keep themselves in the public eye. Sometimes we see him taking up bold topics in his talk shows and talking about them bluntly and at other times we see him walking the ramp, something which not too many people related to his field do.

Now Mubashar Lucman has taken the task of causing awareness about Cancer and collecting funds for Shaukat Khanum Hospital. Unlike the traditional way of hosting a show for the said purpose Mubashar Lucman instead became a part of a campaign started by Shaukat Khanum which is called “Sing a song, save a life”.
