Kubra Khan while sharing her experience from the set of Sinf-e-Aahan, mentioned that “We are not acting in Sinf-e-Aahan. We are doing actual cadet training and we are just shooting that. I have got so many bruises and cuts while shooting for Sinf-e-Aahan because we were actually doing what a cadet is supposed to do.”

“I salute to all the woman and men who are in forces because it’s really very tough. Even the things which we have used while shooting were not dummy, if we have used a gun or a bag, everything was real. The training was really very tough but we all enjoyed a lot, we feel proud to be a part of this project”, added Kubra.

In a recent interview with Momin Ali Munshi, she revealed the reasons for not accepting the role of Hania.

Kubra Khan has no regret of rejecting the role. “I don’t regret at all. Hira did a great job, I genuinely believe she did a great job,” she said.

She revealed the reason behind not accepting the role and shared, “It happens that when you read a script you feel a connection and for some time I have been wanting to do scripts to which I feel connected. When I read the role of Hira in Mere Paas Tum Ho, I was not able to relate that much. I couldn’t relate to it and I knew if I can’t relate to it then I cant perform.”

Kubra Khan is currently working in London Nahi Jaungi which is written by Khalil-ur-Rehman. She shared her views about Khalil-ur-Rehman’s problematic views.

“My opinion about Khalil Sahab is-his art is amazing, it’s beyond amazing. But I do agree that there are things he says there is no need of that. I am doing London Nahi Jaungi because his art is phenomenal. I am going for his art, I have no interactions with him,” she said.

She further justified about why she is working on his script and said, “The work he does is good but I do disagree with a lot of things he says.”

Kubra Khan recently made headlines after her interview with BBC Asian Network. In the particular interview, Kubra not only talked about her currently on air drama Alif, and her character Husn E Jahan and how she could relate well to the spiritual journey of the character.

Another statement that created a lot of hype was Kubra stating how she had spent her past year  herself walking down a more spiritual path. After the interview news was ripe that Kubra too was looking towards quitting the media industry and acting very soon.

“I’m no religious scholar. I’m just somebody who wants to learn the right way of life and I will try my best to do everything in my power to do that. I’m just somebody who wants to be guided on a path that makes Allah happy and not the path that makes him upset at me,” added Kubra further.

Earlier, in her interview Kubra had added that she did not want to be scared to look her Creator in the eye on her deathbed. The actress had also stated that it all boiled down to being a good human being because without that, being the next big thing with 50 awards to your name, was no accomplishment at all.
