In this video, she said, “This is one cause because I feel so strongly about it. This is something I want to talk about,  it was amazing to see despite the violence or the conflicts they faced, they’re resilient people. They have defied all odds and they’re hopeful. They actually are hopeful and from now on all we have to do is not give up.”

Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020 happened on 7 February at Coca Cola Arena, Dubai. The big names of Pakistan Media Industry showed up at the event. Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are two supremely talented Pakistani actors who will soon be seen on the big screen in upcoming feature film Neelofar which marks their comeback in films after The Legend of Maulana Jatt. The film is scheduled to release on 28th November.

Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan appeared in Something Haute’s YouTube show, hosted by Amna Isani and Hassan Chaudhary. In the short chat session, they talked about working on TV again, their on-screen chemistry and Neelofar.

Talking about Fahira craze, Fawad Khan said, “I’m not even on social media, so I actually don’t know what the expectations of fans are regarding our pairing or chemistry. I know about this craze of Fahira.”

Mahira Khan also said, “I am the one who sends him the screenshots of what fans write about us. We have done no work together despite that Fans are so much loving that’s why we feel blessed, and we’re also a little mindful. If you think, we have worked with gaps like Humsafar was nearly 15 years ago then The Legend of Maula Jatt, where we weren’t exactly paired; it wasn’t “me and him” in that sense and now we are back with Neelofar. So yes, the expectations are definitely there, and we both know that.”

Talking about the viral Humsafar scene, Fawad Khan said, “The particular scene you are talking about was improvised by me and yes it became popular, And I had a bet that it is gonna work. Mahira Khan also said that Sarmad and Fawad were constantly improvising that scene and the hair pin was her style which she often used to tie her hair and it worked perfectly well in that scene.” Here is the link to the video ”

Talking about the casting of Neelofar, he said, “So it was Ammar’s first choice he had actually thought of Neelofar and thought of her. I just came into the cast just like that but Mahira was the director’s choice and it was Mahira’s bad luck that I was the producer. Mahira said that she thought let’s just do it and Mansoor is so Fawad and Neelofar is so Mahira.”

Talking about Fawad Khan as a producer, he said, “I am a difficult producer because I think I’m particular about things but it’s her good luck that I will say anything to her once or twice and then I keep quiet.” Mahira also added that it’s Fawad’s bad luck that she always keeps on talking and giving her opinions. She admitted that he is a good producer and his set is a pleasure to be on and the food she gets is amazing which is an integral part of a good set.”

Talking about if they will again come on TV screen. Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan both did promise. Mahira said she will produce it and Fawad Khan asked her for a good script. Fawad Khan said, “There is another Fawad Khan in the industry, you can see him with Mahira. If I will be alive and not retired I will do it” Mahira Khan was willing to do it , she said that she’s gonna produce it for them and Fawad Khan finally made a promise.

Mahira Khan and Fatima Bhutto recently came together to share the stage at the National Theater London. Mahira was invited to read from Bhutto’s latest novel The Runaways on Monday. Journalist Mohsin Saeed took to Instagram and posted free pictures from the event.

The advertisement is shot in different locations of Bangkok, Thailand. It is well thought out and brilliantly executed advertisement and definitely one of the best advertisement I have seen in a long time. Qmobile always spends a high budget on advertisements, but this advertisement is way better than most of the Qmobile advertisements. I would not be exaggerating if I say that Mahira is looking way better than Kareena in this advertisement.

Both the stars have come together and have replaced the old classic Meri Nanhi Pari ad of molty foam with their take on it. Mahira Khan is looking stunning in the ad in a beautiful lehenga and elegantly done makeup but who has shown the real transformation is our very own Adnan Siddiqui.

Adnan Siddiqui goes from the young father to old and it has been shown in his appearance too. He has been turned partially bald and his hair is turned grey for this campaign. Shehryar Munawar talked about his upcoming film with Dawn News, “The movie will be directed by renowned ad filmmaker Asim Raza. I am producing the venture as well as acting in it myself. Mahira Khan, Adeel Hussain, Sonya Jehan will also be seen in prominent roles. The movie is an urban contemporary youth story.”

Shehryar also said, “We are done with 20 days of shooting. We have 40 days of shooting left so we have a long way to go still.”

Talking about Mahira Khan’s character she said, “She is an urban girl. Even Shehr-e-Zaat’s Falak, which was a modern character, wasn’t like this. She’s a musician, she’s just a nice, sorted girl of today, a real person. She has her quirks but she’s a regular girl. Feeha Jamshed will be doing most of the wardrobe for this character and has designed some outfits especially for this role. “

Mahira Khan also said, “For me, it’s a departure of sorts. When I do dramas, I feel like it is usually around a specific character. But this is about three friends, about a slice of life.”
