Waqar Zaka has been in the news a lot lately mainly due to the suggestions he has been giving those at the helm of affairs. He can easily be termed as someone who is not afraid to take risks but this time around he took risks for others and it backfired. A few days back Waqar Zaka was in the news because of his videos in which he informed people about the importance of ‘crypto’. He also made tall claims that ‘crypto’ could be the answer to all of the economic problems being faced by the Pakistani government.

Surprisingly enough, there were a lot of young people who followed his lead and had complete faith in him. So much so that they were backing him up so much that Waqar Zaka was actually trending on Twitter for days. Waqar Zaka also has a private Facebook group where he shares his secrets regarding investing in ‘crypto’ with those who pay him for being part of this group. This group goes by the title ‘Waqar Zaka’s Private Group’ and within a few days, it had around 50,000 members. He charges each member Rupees 1500 per month for his ‘services’. A few days ago, Waqar announced that he had been hired as a crypto expert by the Government of Pakistan.

Now, with the great historic dip in the ‘crypto’ market, Waqar Zaka’s followers are naturally not happy with him at all. They have lost thousands of dollars. Therefore, their mentor has turned into someone they know they cannot trust anymore! They are expressing their anger and disappointment continuously. This time the actor and host has spoken up about Qandeel Baloch, Pakistan’s most controversial social media star who was murdered at the hands of her younger brother. She has been in news recently both due to her death anniversary and also in the wake of Baaghi, an Urdu1 drama that has been promoted widely. The drama will be airing shortly and veteran actress Saba Qamar will be playing the main character, Qandeel Baloch. There has been many speculations as to whether the drama will glorify her life and death or will be used as a medium to denounce evils of all kinds in our society.

He wants people not to pay tribute to her just because she was murdered by a man. His point is that when you would not associate with Qandeel in her life or share anything about her because it was agreed by almost everybody that her activities were disgraceful, why would you want to glorify her now? Just because she was killed wrongly? She was wronged in the end but that does not make all the wrongs she had committed by choice take a right turn.

Waqar has quit doing his TV show as he said that he did not wanted censorship to be imposed on him. He’s been active on his social media ever since. According to him the latter gives you enough freedom to express.

Waqar Zaka is most commonly known as the host for the show called “Living on the edge” ever since then he became a social activist and is known to make the headlines on and off because of something he said or did or was done to him anyway he has done it again, this time he has slammed the academy award winner Sharmeen Obaid and critically acclaimed director Shoaib Mansoor for cashing Pakistan’s bad image.

In his recent video Waqar Zaka claims that in the name of ‘awareness’ people like Sharmeen and Shoaib are only making money, if they truly want to aware the masses why don’t they upload their films on social media forms or show them for free.

He further added that cinema is a form of entertainment and people watch movies to be entertained while Sharmeen and Shoaib make the kind of movies that only depress the audience he went on and said that it’s like buying depression.

He used 18+ language and openly accused both directors of taking advantage of Pakistan’s situation, he said that we are all well aware of the dire situation the country is in but cinema is for entertainment not for such depressing films also if both of them really wanted to do something for the cause they could have used the money they invested in the films to help facilitate the victims in getting jobs or education etc.

He further accused Shoaib of always trying to stand out, he said that when everyone was working on meaningful projects Shoaib Mansoor introduced a comedy show named “Fifty Fifty‘ and now that most of the industry is focused on comedy shows he is bringing the serious topics in because he wants to stand out.

He reviewed Verna by saying that after watching a movie like that all women will be scared of being raped and if kids watch it they will be encouraged to rape because kids usually get inspired by movies and the heroes and villains in them.

Only four days to go for the last and final episode of the most followed drama serial of all times, Meray Paas Tum Ho, to air. The craze is huge. As the final will be screened in cinemas across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, ticket sales have broken records, exceeding the numbers of some local films as well.

Alongside cinemas, the final episode will also air on ARY Digital from 8pm to 10pm on Saturday 25th January 2020. However, for those who miss the cinemas or the episode on television, there’s a tiny bit of a glitch, Meray Paas Tum Ho’s final episode will not be available on YouTube as the rest.

Instead the last epiosode of Meray Paas Tum Ho can be viewed by the audience before it airs on the newly launched ARY ZAP app.

My brand was signed as the makeup artist for a project and when I was doing her make-up, I suggested her some ideas to enhance her look on screen as I have worked with big screen actresses in Pakistan, US and in India. She had the audacity to go to Producers and said that “wajid toh meri buraiyya kar raha hai and I am not comfortable working with him’. So I was asked to step back from the project because she made them do so”

Wajid further said that he has worked with much bigger names like IIFA and Miss Universe, but he has never come across anyone as toxic and unprofessional as Sana Javed. He said that Sana Javed should focus more on her acting rather than playing games with people. He said that in industry all are artists and are as important as anyone else on the set. She shouldn’t work if she doesn’t have to give respect to all. Here is the post.
