The drama initially got criticism for being the copy of Geo TV’s recently wrapped hit soap serial Siyani in which a poor girl trapped a guy after knowing he’s rich. Senior Ptv Actor Talat Iqbal is critically ill. He was hospitalized after his situation got deteriorated. The veteran actor is said to be on ventilator.

The legendary actor was famous for his excellent wok on television. He worked for Pakistan television, he mostly worked in 70’s and 80’s. Later on, the actor moved to USA with family. The actor made his television come back with Geo TV famous drama Kamzarf which stars Nadia Khan too. His daughter Sarah Talat died a few months ago after prolonged illness.

Talking about his latest condition, his daughter Somi Talat said that he wrongly ingested the pill which got stuck into his throat and now the doctors have admitted him in the hospital and he is shifted to the ventilator. She said that the doctors said that next 24 to 36 hours are too important for him. She informed this in an extreme upsetting manner. She further said that he didn’t contract with Covid and his illness is not covid related.

The senior actor is admitted in the hospital of Dallas, Texas.

Veteran star Mazhar Ali passed away in Houston. PTV has given us a plethora of stars and their stardom never went down as they were worked in the golden era of television. Many of these veterans are now leaving us and Mazhar Ali is an actor who just passed away. He has worked on Pakistan Television in several dramas. His dramas are evergreen and his fans still have a lot of love and admiration for him.

Mazhar Ali appeared in dramas like Aroosa, Afshan, Kaali Deemak, Kaanch Ki Guriya and Shaheen. The star’s family was based in Canada and that is where he lived. He was suffering from lung diseases for some time now and he also had heart conditions for which he was getting treated.

He passed away in Houston where he was undergoing treatment. He has two daughters, a son and his wife who are left behind. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illaihi Rajioon. May Allah bless the departed soul and provide sabar to his family!

Asim Bukhari is a veteran star of Pakistan. He worked in films, dramas and theatre and he is also a writer and a poet. He is known for his countless roles and his work for the culture, literature and entertainment of Pakistan. The star was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show Zabardast and spoke about his family, dedication to his work and love for art.

Asim Bukhari remembered his late mother and how much she loved him. He revealed that he always wanted to be an actor and started struggling for it. His mother used to be behind him always and once he went for a shoot and forgot to tell his mom that he was going somewhere. She kept looking for him in the market and even went to the studio. When he came back in the evening, she was crying for him.

Ali Rizvi was a well known director, producer and a writer. He is the producer behind dramas like Des Pardes , Aansoo and Family 93. It is indeed a sad news that the legendary producer is no longer with us.

He had also received the PTV award for best director for three consecutive years.

Syed Yorguc Tipu Shah revealed the news of Ali Rizvi passing away on his social media.

Dasht Aashna was another drama by him for which Tipu won the Best Actor PTV award. He has also made plays with his family members Zulfikar Sheikh and Tasmiya Sheikh in Scotland. Everyone loved Rizvi for bringing outdoor locations in his dramas.

Ali Rizvi was married to producer Zartaj Ali and is survived by three children.

Pakistan Television and Pakistani dramas have always been top-notch quality. The content coming out of our industry is watched all over the world and there are many classics that can be watched anywhere and anytime and they will entertain you no matter. PTV time is considered the golden era of Pakistani dramas and the directors and producers of that era have done some beautiful work. In the past two years, Pakistan has lost many of these legends and this time around it is veteran producer Rashid Dar.

Now, ace producer and director of PTV, Rashid Dar passes away. He was battling cancer and passed away last night in Lahore at the age of 84. His funeral prayers were organized near his residence in Mozang in Lahore. Rashid Dar has given some classic dramas to the industry including Sona Chandi, Andhera Ujala and Man Chalay Ka Sauda.

In a rather sad turn of events, veteran Pakistani actress Nighat Butt passed away on Friday 7th February 2020, after a prolonged illness.

According to reports, Nighat Butt had fallen severely ill after her husband’s death four years ago and had been living in extreme poverty. Nighat Butt, although had been promised aid from the government time and again but nothing had worked out in this regard. Following her poverty, Butt, couldn’t even pay the rent of the house she had been living in.

Nighat Butt had been severely ill since a few years and finally succumbed to death on Friday, 7th February. The showbiz industry has expressed grief and shock over the sad demise of the veteran actress. Butt has been laid to rest in Lahore.

Today, Pakistan’s veteran guitarist Adnan Afaq passed away. Adnan Afaq was an ace Pakistani musician. He was a guitar guru, a brilliant musician and a devoted mentor. Adnan Afaq taught guitars to many young Pakistani musicians. In the past, he played guitars for many famous Pakistani pop singers. Adnan Afaq assisted many live concerts of popular singers as well. He recently served as the the head of the music department at the Arts Council of Pakistan. Adnan discovered many passionate and young musicians and trained them. His students are also grieving his loss and are giving tributes to him.

Adnan Afaq died of cancer. He was battling with stage 4 stomach cancer. He was admitted in SIUT Karachi. He passed away at 12:30 PM today. The news about his death was confirmed by Armaan Raheem of the Arts Council Pakistan (ACP). The musician was hospitalised due to complications related to his illness. His fans are saying that Adnan Afaq’s death will create a void in the field of music. He was considered among one of the best Pakistani guitarists. Adnan Afaq worked hard in shaping Pakistan’s music industry.
