Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi starrer Tere Bin became an instant hit and the chemistry between the leads makes it trend in Pakistan and India. The drama’s OST has played a big part in its success and it was at 25 million views when it got a copyright strike by Zee Music Company.
Zee Music Company claimed that the OST of Tere Bin composed by Shani Arshad is a copy of their song Thukra Ke Mera Pyar. This lead to Geo’s YouTube channel removing the OST and later on some of the episodes that were trending as they contained the same song. Tere Bin also came with a different OST for one episode but things were resolved later and the OST as well as all the episodes were uploaded back. It seemed like the strike was wrong and nothing was copied.
But Zee Music Company has definitely obtained the audio credits for the song as they have uploaded Tere Bin’s OST on their YouTube channel. It is an audio song and they have given credits to singer, composer and lyricist.

The first step to the revival of Pakistani cinema was taken by Shoaib Mansoor who gave us movies like ‘Khuda Ke Liyeah’ and ‘Bol’ which managed to strike a chord with the audiences and a ray of hope was seen for the revival of the Pakistani Industry. Other producers like Humayun Saeed and Hasan Waqas Rana soon followed his foot steps and planned to produce high budget movies. Humayun Saeed’s Main Hoon Shahid Afridi has now released and Hasan Waqas’s Waar is all set to release by the end of this year.
The next big budget producer in town is the veteran actress, Zeba Bakhtiar and her son Azan Sami Khan who will release their first movie soon under their production house, One Motion Productions. Recently, Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz has been shooting for his upcoming drama with Sahiba Afzal, his father Nauman Ijaz, and others. On the set of his upcoming drama, he opened up about his mother’s absence.
Replying to Sahiba Afzal, “Looking at Zaviyar, I am reminded of my own sons. Because waking them up in the morning is a task itself, only I know how I have to wake them up. So, how must he have been woken up?” Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz replied, “Exactly, mom isn’t here, that’s why I sleep till late. I would just keep sleeping if I don’t have to wake up for the shoot. Life is totally different when mom isn’t around to wake you up. It feels like you’ve arrived in heaven—you can just sleep all day long until evening! When Mama was around, she would say, ‘This is laziness, wake up! Get out of bed.’ She would pull up the curtains, turn off the AC, and leave the door wide open. Talking about his father’s advice, he said, “My father taught me that acting is a craft you learn by doing it repeatedly. You learn with time, and I agree with that. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so I know there is a process to follow. I will keep working and keep learning. If not today, I will be praised tomorrow. It’s a process, and I believe in following the due process.”
Talking about Nauman Ijaz’s complaints, he said, “There are certain harsh realities of this field that we shouldn’t go into. If you specifically want to ask about them, you should call him and ask what’s happening in the industry. Yes, I come from a privileged background, but that doesn’t mean I am a born actor. People think that just because I’m Nauman Ijaz’s son, I already know acting. He set a standard over 40 years—give me 40 years, and I will prove myself. Also, I have thick skin and can take criticism.”

Sang e Mah is a classic that was loved by everyone from critics to audiences. Narrating the story, he said that his dad told him in one scene that he will hit him for real and he has to stop the hand for the scene. At first Zaviyar felt awkward and could not stop his father’s hand but he did it in the next take.
Later on he was slapped again in another scene and his dad really hit him so the scene looks natural and the tears in his eyes in one of the scenes are real as he had just been slapped and kicked by Nauman Ijaz.
