After working in the entertainment industry for more than four decades Badar Khalil has decided to bid farewell to acting. She gave her last interview to DAWN Newspaper before leaving for Canada for good. Her disappointment with the drama industry and some people in particular is very evident in this interview. Khan ended up in the hospital as his kidneys were not functioning properly after the extreme regime he went on to gain weight. He also said that this not healthy and he would recommend everyone to never start such an extreme diet for a role as it is harmful in long term. Fawad Khan is also diabetic so it was not great on his health.

Whether he works or not, Fawad Khan is the biggest star of Pakistan. Public wants to see him and and all artists want to work with him. As soon as the announcement came of his comeback in Maula Jatt, fans are dying to watch him on screen. Fawad Khan garnered a huge fan following with his projects like Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai. After returning to Pakistan, Fawad Khan has done just one big project, The Legend of Maula Jatt and that is also a multi-starrer magnum opus with many other big stars in the cast. Fawad Khan did great as Maula Jatt and the film is a testament to his talent. Fawad Khan fans wanted to see him back on screen but he was not really interested. He appeared in advertisements as well as did cameos mostly but did not sign any Pakistani drama.
Barzakh & Not Respecting His Pakistani Fans
Fawad Khan just got into a huge controversy with his drama comeback in Barzakh. Barzakh was made by a Pakistani team but it was helmed by an Indian platform Zee5 where we have seen many other series as well which were largely good. Barzakh however, got into controversy for queer themes, bold scenes and children speaking some inappropriate dialogues. People in Pakistan were disappointed in Pakistani stars for signing up for such a controversial project and promoting values that are considered inappropriate in Pakistan.
Giving Importance To Indian Projects More Than Pakistan
Fawad Khan is once again rumoured to be working with Vaani Kapoor in an Indian film that will be shot in London. He is also working on another web series for an Indian platform. The star is as usual far more interested in working for India. His Pakistani film Neelofar has been hanging for release for ages now and fans are tired of waiting. His Pakistani series Jo Bachay Hain Samait Lo is a Netflix project by Momina Duraid and that is again another huge multi-starrer with not just Fawad as the main attraction.
Disappointment Of Fans & Some Other Stars Fawad Should Look At
Fawad Khan is clearly not interested in working for his Pakistani masses audience. However, notably all the best work Fawad has done is Pakistani including Khuda Ke Liye, Zindagi Gulzar Hai and The Legend of Maula Jatt. His Indian projects have brought him more exposure for sure but they did not do much for his career otherwise. His work in Ms Marvel was also because of his Pakistani work, just like his co-star Mehwish Hayat. Fawad is a big star but he needs to start looking inwards and make projects that common Pakistanis will watch who made him a star and not just Barzakhs which are not just controversial but made for a very limited audience.
As for international work, Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan and Sajal Aly have all done projects internationally and they have still managed to work in Pakistan and in some really good dramas and films. Disregarding your own fans and aiming only for a specific country’s approval and audience is not the approach a star like Fawad should be taking. Making more Maula Jatts and even Khuda Ke Liyes should be the star’s goal.

I know it may sound clichéd but it is fantastic to be able to find such a person. Whatever good I have in me, is because of the influence of my wife, family and my son. I’m having a ball.

Pakistani satellite television channels have revived dramas in Pakistan. What do you havto say about that? The increasing number of viewers is satisfying. If the viewers has had a good time and says something genuinely nice, it’s all the gratification one could ask for.

Ms. Marvel is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Bisha K. Ali for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. Marvel’s first Pakistani Muslim woman superhero will be played by Iman Vellani. She will take on the role of Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey. Another talented Pakistani working on the project is filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who will join Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fa.
Earlier, rumors were making rounds on social media that Fawad Khan will be the part of upcoming series. Recently, Fawad Khan has confirmed his role in the upcoming Ms Marvel series, laying to rest months of speculation around the same. Sheheryar Munawar is one of the most famous actors in our industry. He started his career as a drama actor, then worked behind the camera for some time, and later on emerged as a film actor. He has now made a comeback on the small screen with the drama serial Pehli Si Mohabbat.
In a recent interview with Something Haute, Sheheryar Munawar shared the horrible experiences he had during “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”. Sheheryar Munawar’s first acting experience was “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” in which he played the character of Osama who was Zaroon’s (Fawad Khan) friend and had a secret crush on Kashaf. Sheheryar Munawar shared that his Pupho Sultana Siqqiqui who was the producer of “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” asked him to play that character.
He said that it was a horrible experience like no one on the set guided him. He used to get his dialogues in the handwritten form a few minutes before his scenes. Talking about his experience of working with Fawad Khan he said that Fawad gave him a very tough time and also he was one of those senior artists who didn’t help him onset at all. He also said that Fawad Khan was straight out of Hamsafar at that time and gave him a tough time considering he was the nephew of the producer and director. Sheheryar shared that Fawad Khan kind of bullied him.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has been named the Sexiest Asian Man in a poll, dethroning singer Zayn Malik who has been winning the title for the past two years.
The Haider actor topped Eastern Eye’s 2017 list of 50 Sexiest Asian Men in the world. Last year, he ranked seventh. Expressing surprise, the Udta Punjab star dedicated the title to his fans who voted for him.

Actor Hrithik Roshan ranked second for the third year in a row.
The winner of the title for previous two years Zayn Malik was ranked third.
TV stars Vivian D’sena and Ashish Sharma ranked fourth and fifth respectively, while Fawad Khan came in at number six making him the highest placed Pakistani in the list.
The rest of the top 10 consists of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, Gurmeet Choudhary and Ranveer Singh. The only sportsman to make it to the list was the newly-wed Virat Kohli.
The highest ranking newcomer in the list is young actor Mohsin Khan, who has been delighting fans on a hit TV serial, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
The youngest in the list is 20-year-old singer and musician Danyal Zafar, who has entered the top 50 for the first time. He is the younger brother of Pakistani singer Ali Zafar.
Maintaining the “Parampara” the oldest in the list once again is the 52 year old King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan.

Tarang’s latest ad features Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Like all the other Tarang ads this one too has a different theme. It is inspired from the fairytale Cinderella, in which Fawad plays the prince and Sonam plays Cinderella who has to rush back home when the clock strikes 12. The twist in this age-old tale is of course the brand label Tarang which will make these magical moments last forever. Unlike all the other commercials of Tarang this one does not have a very upbeat song.

The film is going to be produced by Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea Kapoor. According to the ndtv website “Battle For Bittora is the story of twenty-five-year-old Jinni, who works for an animation studio in Mumbai, and lives a carefree and independent life until her grandmother commands her to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from their hometown Bittora. She finds herself pitted against the irresistibly attractive ex-royal Zain Altaf Khan. What ensues is a bitter battle between the two young contestants, complicated by their passionate love story”.
While talking to an Indian newspaper Sonam said, “People have loved our performances and also our chemistry in the movie. They are going crazy over the romance. Fawad and I are working together again for sure.” Sonam also said that she was shocked by the response.
“We released it on 900 screens because we did not expect this kind of reaction. People thought this will be another Aisha but they were surprised with the film. People have given a lot of love to our movie. They are praising me so much and I feel weird because I don’t think I have done something really great. It feels surreal,”Sonam said.
“All my heroes have been my friends even after the completion of the films so maybe it is true that I am lucky for them. I think even they feel the same. But keeping jokes aside, I don’t think I should give myself that much credit. I feel I select the right projects and the correct heroes,”Sonam Added.
Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are both Phenomenal and versatile actors in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Both the actors have previously worked together in the blockbuster drama Zindagi Gulzar hai aired on Hum TV.

Nothing more has been revealed yet about the topic but there is one thing for sure that Umera’s fans would definitely love this news as it is Amar Bail after Peer-e-Kamil(pbuh) which takes the reader in some other world which apparently seems reality.
Fawad Khan will be seen in the role Umar, the central character of the novel, whereas Nida would be impersonating Aliza’s character. For those who don’t recognize Nida Khan, she is an actress less seen on screen. She was the daughter of Parsa in the the drama serial Paarsa that went on air on Hum TV.
