Adnan Sami , a former Pakistan national asked the nation to get over the ICC Champions trophy win against India and take the match as a game only. While his tweet got massive support from India, the Pakistanis, however found it outrageous and stormed at him for his tweet.

Adnan Sami’s suggestion about “getting over” the match might be appreciated by the Indians but the response he got from Pakistan will definitely make him think twice before tweeting anything like that again.

Torn between her Susral and Maika, our bhabi jee chose a rather diplomatic response to settle the matter. In her tweet after the ICC final , Sania Malik said that both the countries should celebrate because both of them have won. India lost the cricket match but won the hockey match at the same time.Their wins should be equally celebrated.

Pakistan, outperforming Indians in all the departments, does not , however, owe much to our bhabi’s hubby who just scored 12 runs. The couple still manged to find solace : Shoaib Malik in pakistan’s victory in cricket and Sania in the hockey match. Good going guys!

India Pakistan cricket rivalry is so world famous that it has become a phenomenon in itself. Wikipedia has one of the longest pages dedicated to it. While being on the losing side brings extreme humiliation and bucketfuls of anday tamatar, winning brings with it a tremendous amount of appreciation which is almost godly in its intensity. Today, however we are lucky to talk about the latter only.

The mauka mauka campaign was started in 2015, when India made an ad to mock Pakistan, pointing out that Pakistan had lost last six matches played against India. These words then became an entity of their own to taunt the losing team meaning that they lost their mauka or chance for winning, and will spend ages looking for the next mauka now.

After hearing our share of the very iconic mauka mauka for a long time, Pakistan finally had the sweet taste of a well deserved victory, beating India fair and square by 180 solid runs.

Pakistan’s first super hero movie Project Ghazi will release on 14th July 2017. The film stars Shehryar Munawar Siddiqui, Syra Shehroze and Humayun Saeed in lead roles whereas Adnan Jaffar plays the antagonist. We are already floored by the looks of the cast.

A new genre will be introduced in Pakistan film industry with the release of Project Ghazi. The movie looks packed with action and technology. We hope the film performs well and scores big at the box office.

Yes you heard it right! Marina Khan the maestro is making her film debut soon. The star has always ruled the hearts of her fans from Dhoop Kinaray to Jackson Heights.

The actress will be making her film debut in Na Maloom Afrad 2. Director Nabeel Qureshi didn’t disclose much about her character other than that she will be playing Hania Amir’s mother in the film.

“Marina Khan is making her silver screen debut with Na Maloom Afraad 2 and she has already shot her scenes in the film.” Nabeel said, he further went on and praised her:”It has been a great pleasure working with her.”

Na Maloom Afraad 2 will release on Eid ul Adha.

Shoaib Akhtar replies to Indians with as much of sensibility as one could muster and the Indians are all praises for the humbleness he portrayed in a live show. Advising Indians to keep a cool head and not to fret over the lost match, Shoaib Akhtar also asked them not to take anyone lightly or talk ill of them beforehand.

” I congratulate the Indian team for qualifying the finals. It is a great achievement that India qualified and there is no need to talk ill of them. As a Pakistani, I request you to pat your team instead of cursing them”

Shoaib Akhtar’s reply is an epitome of sensibility and humbleness. Through his humble words, he gave a huge message to all, a message that emphasized the fact that winning or losing does not matter but what does matter is how you act in the circumstances afterwards.

It has been a very lucky day for us Pakistani. She further added that her her father has written a book on his life that she wants to edit and publish.

Mehreen Raheel is a versatile actress who speaks her mind. Talking about her dad, she said,  “My Abu is my hero and my best friend. His sense of humor, his ability to love, protect, forgive and our meaningful conversations hold a very special place in my heart. The fact that he is always there for me and understands me without judging me with his unmovable faith in Allah and looking at the best in everything, touches me deeply.”

Sadia Khan also celebrated her father’s role in her life with touching words, “I count my father as my biggest blessing as he is my strength as well as my mentor especially when I lost my mother; I was in a bad state as I felt like I wouldn’t be able to survive. Now when I think of him I can’t even measure his greatness towards me as what I am today is only because of him. May Allah bless him today and always.”

Fia Khan speaks about her father’s role in shaping her personality and ethos. She said,

“My father is my everything. He has been my first love and best friend. He is someone I could always turn to no matter what kind of mistake I make and there were always two things which he said which I can never forget even today. Firstly any relationship which harms your mental and physical health is to get rid of immediately and secondly anything that happens happens exactly as you have thought it out to be so if you think of positive thoughts then positive things do happen. I just love him for living his life and showing us how to live it too.”

We loved these girls’ respect and fondness for their fathers. Truly, each and every daughter is a princess of her father’s heart.

Fahad, in his show Jeeto Pakistan, targeted the tweets coming from the Bollywood’s veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor, asking him not to do what is unexpected of him. Being a respectable celebrity , he should be careful not to hurt those who admire him as an artist. Winning and losing is in the hands of fate but staying calm and level-headed is in our own hands. He, furthermore, advised players from both the countries to act sensible and to give the message of peace to the world.

“Our cricketers neither go their to teach English nor to learn it. They are there to play cricket. The management officials should keep translators in order to facilitate all those who cannot speak or understand English since it is not their native language”

These were her words to all the haters who ridiculed Sarfraz for his “not so cool” English. She also mentioned how it is unwise and unfair to judge anyone on the basis of language and that had she been there in his place, she would have replied in Urdu instead.

“Amjad Sabri is not dead. He is among us, listening to us. People like him don’t pass away. Those who kill them die.”

These were the words of the culture minister Syed Sardar Shah in the event organised in the memory of late Amjad Sabri. Sabri’s family including his brothers and children enthusiastically participated in the event which was initailly scheduled to held on 22nd June but was held early .The show started with M. Wasi Nizami. It also included the wonderful performances by  Farid Ayaz and Abu Muhammad who also shed light on the life of Amjad Sabri.

Mr Shah also announced the making of a qawali Institute in the name of Amjad Sabri ,in Sindh as a tribute to him and his family. He briefed everyone about Billawal Bhutto Zardari’s meeting with the Sabri family in which he had already promised the making of an institute that will train the young qawals. Mr shah said that the Institute has already been made and will officially start in August.

Amjad Sabri’s heart-wrenching death a year ago shocked all his fans but Legends like him never die  and the Amajd Sabri Institute is indeed an example that will keep him alive in our hearts forever.

Mahira Khan and Saba Qamar are no doubt the biggest female celebrities in Pakistan right now. Naturally they are compared time and time again be it an award show or their projects. As Hindi Medium just released and is running successfully at the box office earning over 100 crores now; Saba has become the second Pakistani actress to join the 100 crore club; first being Mahira with Raees. 

In an interview with Hindustan Times Saba went to say: “Even Hindustan Times and Pinkvilla have compared me to Mahira Khan and given a verdict that my performance is far better than hers in Raees.”

When Mahira was asked by Instep about the so-called feud between the two stars she said:

“I think I’m the only actor who gets compared to everybody and I fail to understand why. That said, I’m a huge supporter of Saba Qamar. I’m a fan and I want her to do well, I am rooting for her, If people find it cool to bring me down, go ahead if it rocks your boat. Sometimes it does get a little hurtful and at times I just wish to be left alone, but as far as I’m concerned, I wish everybody well from the bottom of my heart and I think Saba, of all the people knows this better than anyone.”
