Talking about her debut drama Raqs e Bismil Zara Sheikh said: “People have always asked me why I have never done a TV show before and my answer has always been the same: I just want to do a character that is exciting and gives me a good margin of performance”

Zara also shared that there have been many instances when she was offered several roles in dramas but she didn’t connect to those characters. But this time the character and the team both suits her well.

“The character is really exciting. The show has a very good team of co-actors and also behind the screens. It is a Hum TV project. I am really looking forward to being a part of it” said Zara while talking about her upcoming project Raqs e Bismil.

Drama serial Jalan has been the talk of the town due to its highly controversial content. The drama serial revolves around the story of a girl who falls in love with her brother in law.

Jalan is written by Sidra Sahar Imran and it’s her first drama serial. She has been working as a writer from quite a long time and has written many books.

In an interview, she talked about controversial drama serial Jalan and justified why she wrote such kind of story.

“I write on dark topics which is my identity. Jalan is a true story and the theme was how jealousy ruins relationships. The story was not about the relationship between Nisha and Asfandyar rather it was a story about jealousy .”

“There are few stories on which we write and the stories will repeat. We have two relationships which are between man and woman and stories will be on them. Everyone writes in their own way and I thought Sidra Sahar Imran will write Jalan in her way.”

The host asked the writer that, there are different people on earth and everyone carries their own story then why we have the same stories. Why don’t we show progressive stories about women?

Sidra Sahar Imran said, “The reason behind this is until we broaden our canvas, the writer community can’t do anything. The audience is responsible and most of them who watch dramas are middle-class women. Our channels and dramas run on TRPs and the drama which have highest TRP other dramas will be based on the same topic.”

“Criticizing is easy but people love to watch these dramas. If people want good content then people need to support it. Unless our government won’t support us criticizing our drama is useless,” she added.

The ending of Misha was hated by people and people wanted a different and good ending for her character but the writer said there was no other conclusion possible for Misha.

She justified and said, “I have always show Meenu as down to earth person who bears everything then how in the end I can show her as superwoman? A girl who has always been a giver cannot stand for her rights so suddenly. We all come across such a phase in life when we can’t take anymore and when Misha realized that Nisha took her everything then she decided to do it with herself.”

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a big name in the Music Industry. He is a renowned Pakistani Artist who has earned a massive acknowledgment across the globe too. World’s renowned educational institute ‘Oxford University’ awarded him a Doctorate degree, “doctor of music” in recognition of his prestigious work. Rahat is a nephew of Legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan seems to be under the watch of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) again. The tax collection authority has launched a probe into the income generated from his concerts abroad. 

The FBR has requested the aid of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in order to assess Khan’s money trail. FBR has sought the travel history of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the last six years. The letter also asked the FIA to provide details of all foreign trips of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan from July 1, 2014, to date. 

Meanwhile, the super star’s team has claimed that no message from the FBR has reached Rahat Fateh Ali yet. “We haven’t received any notice from FBR as of yet.  We are currently looking into the matter,” Khan’s manager Muhammad Amir, told to a private TV channel.

This is not the first time, the singer has come under the radar of FBR in regard to his taxes. Back in 2017, the bank accounts of the singer were seized in the case of tax evasion. At the time, the FBR had maintained that action was taken due to non-payment of income tax worth more than Rs3 million in 2015. 

Earlier in 2011, the singer was summoned to the Lahore Regional Tax Office after returning from a foreign tour. At that time, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had appealed for ignorance of Pakistani tax laws and procedures and promised to submit tax returns henceforth. 

Rehmat Ajmal is a Pakistani model, textile designer. She is the founder of Rehstore, an online retail store.

Ajmal made her way into modelling after being approached by a teacher during her second-year at NCA. From there, she began getting featured in ad campaigns of different brands.

Drama serial Kashf started with high pitch. The drama hooked the audience from the very first episode.

Drama serial Kashf proposed something different than usual. In today’s era where dramas are thronged with household politics it introduced a unique concept. Directed by Danish Nawaz the drama revolved around Kashf (Hira Mani) a young girl, who has recurrent nightmares that eventually take the shape of reality.

Belonging to a lower class family who thrive to make both end meet, Kashf becomes an ultimate source of earning money as they started their own Astana and Kashf becomes “Kashf Bibi”.

All of sudden Kashf’s family started seeing her as a money making machine except her fiancé and cousin Wajdaan. Wajdaan (played by Junaid Khan) is head over heels in love with Kashf, their love life faced a lot of hurdles. But eventually the two got married.

But this time again, Kashf’s dreams came in between her happiness and destroyed her married life. Resulting in separation of Kashf and Wajdaan who are madly in love with each other.

In the last episode aired today; Wajdaan gets married to Kashf’s sister, who had a crush on him and played a vital role in Kashf and Wajdaan’s separation but Wajdaan lost his senses and runs away from house. Kashf on the other side in deep sorrow leaves this world in Sujood.

The Kashf had tragic ending but it was quite expected as there were clear indications of this ending from past few episodes.

Hira Mani, Junaid Khan and Waseem Abbas who played Kashf’s father remained the highlight of the drama. All the supporting cast played their characters phenomenally and indeed this drama was a proof of excellent direction.

In an interview, he talked about how he became an actor and shared his whole journey which is full of struggle and hard work.

He shared, “I started with a radio show named ‘Dude where is my song?’ You might have heard my show when you used to come back from school and many of you might have called on the show to play a song. So I started from there. I didn’t want to become RJ and I didn’t know about it. Once my mother came home and she said that why don’t you try radio? I agreed and gave the audition and got selected as well. The journey is still continued but my radio career ended after 5-6 years.”

“I wanted to grow further on merit and I started hosting for Hum TV in 2018 then I became VJ. Next step was acting but I never went to any acting school. When I started acting I faced lots of criticism. I gave so many auditions but everyone rejected me. I was so dishearted and left everything and joined university to complete my education.”

Ali Ansari further said, “After that suddenly one day I got an offer of a telefilm and luckily I got my next drama. I was doing the job at that time so I left it and started acting again. Its been five years I have been in the field of acting and facing lots of criticism. Constructive criticism is good and one must learn from it.”

Recent Peshawar blast has shocked everyone which took place at Jamia Zuberia madrassah in Peshawar’s Dir Colony during a class. Seven people have been killed while around 123 people are injured.

Students around the age of 22-28 study in the madrassah and many students were present during the blast.

The wave of danger is spreading again and the whole country is mourning over the death of people. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also issued a statement and said, “Deeply saddened by terrorist attack on madrassah in Peshawar. My condolences go to the victims families & prayers for early recovery of the injured. I want to assure my nation we will ensure the terrorists responsible for this cowardly barbaric attack are brought to justice asap.”
