According to news, Ayesha Omar’s next film, Dhai Chaal, is gearing up to release in February next year. The film will see Ayesha Omar playing a journalist based in Baluchistan trying to bring out the truth to the masses about what happens in the region.
“The story is about Balochistan, it’s about foreign entities there and how the people of Balochistan sacrificed a lot and went through a lot of hard times to regain peace in the region. It’s about everything they gave up; it’s the story of students, of journalists,” shared Ayesha Omar with Images.
Dhai Chaal will see Ayesha Omar paired opposite Shamoon Abbasi, who will be playing the role of an Indian RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav, who created chaos in Balochistan.
Alongside Shamoon and Ayesha, Dhai Chaal will also star Adnan Shah Tipu, Rasheed Naz, Saleem Mairaj, Humayun Ashraf, Pakiza Khan alongside talented theatre actors from Baluchistan. The film has been penned down by Farheen Chaudhry and is being directed by Taimoor Sherazi.
Dhai Chaal is being produced by Dr. Irfan Ashraf, an anchor who has been working in the region of Balochistan for the past 15 years. According to Ayesha Omar, she was drawn to the project because of the dedication of producer Irfan Ashraf and the theme of the film, which really appealed to her.
Ayesha Omar is included in the cast of film WAAR2 as main female lead instead of Ayesha Khan who was seen in the same role in WAAR1. The other cast of WAAR2 includes Shaan and Hamza Abbasi. Ayesha Omar will appear opposite filmstar Shaan. It will be the first major role of Ayesha Omar in a film. Earlier she had appeared in film Mein ‘Hoon Shahid Afridi’ in a dance sequence. Apart from WAAR2, Shaan has also signed Ayesha for two films under his home production.
The producer and director of WAAR2 is Waqas Hassan Rana, Waqar was producer of WAAR1 too.

She further shared how she manages her weight during travelling and said, “When I travel for one month everyone said that they gain weight but I actually lost weight. Talking about her personal incident of being harassed, Ayesha shared, “Because I have been through harassment in my life and career, I understand how it feels. I don’t have the courage to talk about it yet, maybe someday I will but I can totally relate to everybody who has been through it.”

She covered her face and went to the hospital. THe doctor was also surprised by the extent of injury and how she was still holding up. Ayesha then got surgery after 3 hours of suffering and she was able to walk in 4 weeks.

I know she is a strong, bold and outspoken woman and she will not stand any injustice…she will speak up about it.”

“It has taken Meesha so long to speak about something that has been happening since years and she didn’t have the strength to talk about it, so think about all those women who go through sexual harassment on a daily basis and they don’t have the strength and courage to talk about it publicly or in their families.”
In response to a question about Ali Zafar’s response to the matter, Ayesha said the singer has the right to deny anything said against him if there is no proof of it.
“If someone says something about me tomorrow, I will also deny it, but it doesn’t mean that the honesty or intentions of a person talking about an experience they have undergone should be doubted.”

“I wanted the shoot to be delayed but because all the arrangements had already been made, it could not be delayed. I thought I can’t do this. I literally had tears in my eyes. I said to the director, I will only do it if your wife does it first and he said of course she can do it!”

Ive been whining and complaining to myself the last few days, about having to manage stuff completely on my own these days, not getting enough sleep and rest, having to juggle too many things while dealing with lingering allergies for the past 3 weeks, my muscles and target areas (which were effected by the accident) become very stiff and painful in the winters also…. but in comparison to what I went through this evening, emotionally, physically and mentally, 6 pm onwards, on that dark, broken highway, how I survived those 7 hours until I finally reached a hospital, the weeks and months that followed, all of this seems so trivial, so easy…. I’d take this, anyday, with open arms and boundless gratitude.
Today, I’m just grateful to be alive, healthy and well, surrounded by people who love me, grateful for having made it through that ordeal and many others, and get to where I am today, especially this year, after the year we have all had, with so much anxiety, stress, pain and suffering for some, all over the world. I could not be more thankful.

Her mother was very young when she became widowed and chose not to remarry. Her mother dedicated her life to raising her kids. They could not afford the expenditure of the school she was enrolled in, however, she got a merit-based scholarship to get through.
To afford uniform and books, her mother used to do three jobs, she would teach at school, then provide tuition in the evenings plus the pick and drop services she gave to the students. Ayesha’s mother drove students to school in a van for 12 years to put together enough money for the household expenditures.
Her mother is a career-oriented woman and she gave the same advice to Ayesha that life is unpredictable so that do not be dependent on anyone.
Marriage May Be On The Cards
The starlet told viewers that she handled all the expenditure when she became the bread earner of the family. She always thought if she’d get married who would take care of her mother and brother.
Ayesha also revealed that there was someone special in her life but things didn’t work out. Now, she is thinking about settling down and starting a family.

Ayesha Omar opened up about the sexual harassment ordeal with Rose McGowan in an Insta Live session. Ayesha and Rose talked about how they found the courage to be vocal about their ordeal and the toll it took on them. That live session left many misty-eyed.
The actor talked about her torturous encounters with the harasser once more in the latest interview. The Dolly ki Ayegi Baarat actress told viewers that she remained silent for 13 years and even her mother was not aware of the harassment incident.
The starlet didn’t reveal the name of the harasser as she told that he is in no position to harass anyone anymore. But what she did disclose was that he was considered a media giant of the industry and she felt powerless before him.
When she was 22 and just joined the industry, the encounters with the media giant started falling into the harassment territory. She said that she regrets not speaking up and she is sorry for the person she was. She added that had she taken a stand for herself then, she would have been a different person now. Ayesha told the host that she was scared to go against him as it might have affected her career and life.
