Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has just revealed that he was the mystery voice behind some of our favorite childhood jingles. When he was 10 years old, he sang the jingles of Cocomo and Dairy Milk.

The on-going tension between Pakistan and India has caused many troubles. One of the trouble is faced by Asim Azhar as his album and Bollywood song was going to release. He was working with famous music producer Tanishk Bagchi.

Asim shared, “I had recorded the single and had gone to Sri Lanka and shot a beautiful video for it with Tanishk Bagchi, who is one of the most successful music video producers in India. My team at Universal Music India and I were planning the release when the cross-border situation suddenly worsened.”

“We decided to wait it out until things improve. But that just didn’t happen. Now, we have come to terms with the fact that it may take considerable time before Indo-Pak relations become more peaceful.”

Asim also praised the team and said, “I have never worked with any other label and I consider myself lucky to have had signed up with them. They are an amazing team to work with and incredibly supportive.”

“We had a schedule planned out. We were going to release singles throughout the year and then perhaps wrap up the year with the release of an album,” says Asim.

Asim and the record company cannot do anything until and unless the conflict between the two countries does not end.

“It was frustrating, waiting for the political situation between India and Pakistan to get better so that my singles could release. There was nothing that could be done. My music is my way of expressing myself and I felt as if I was caged. I was really down and then, I decided to let these emotions out by creating more songs. I think that I have about 20 to 40 songs that are partially or completely ready now.”

Asim believes everything has its time and said, “And there’s a time for everything. Perhaps my singles just weren’t meant to release according to how I had planned. I ended up working on other projects in the meantime. I have been interacting with audiences these days, performing live, and the response that I have been getting is amazing.”

Asim also shared details about his Bollywood song, “It was going to be my Bollywood debut but now I am not so sure. They may not use the song at all or they may just have an Indian singer sing it, giving me credit only as a composer. It’s all right. These things happen.”

Asim Azhar is the newest sensation in Pakistani music. He started his career in music doing covers and also appeared in some acting projects. He has now established himself as a big star by doing his successful stints in the Coke Studio Pakistan. Asim Azhar’s Tera Woh Pyar with Momina Mustehsan took him to new heights of stardom.

The singer has released his first song in India and it is titled Jo Tu Na Mila. Jo Tu Na Mila is a song about heartbreaks. This is Asim’s first single in India and he is getting a lot of praises. Now the Pakistan singer has collaborated with American electronic dance music (EDM) duo, Krewella for a song, called ‘Paradise’ from their new album Zer0.

The song is a fun and upbeat number with catchy beats and lyrics that’ll grow on you. Asim Azhar’s vocals stand out as always while the EDM duo impress as usual. Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine of Krewella visited Pakistan in 2017 and made their Coke Studio debut in season 11.

Krewella’s latest album Zer0 features 11 songs with Asim Azhar coming in on the fifth track.

Singer Asim Azhar has just gotten engaged with actress and social media influencer Merub Ali. Both were already friends. Soon after the engagement fans started spreading an old screenshot of Asim Azhar in which he called Merub Ali like his sister.

Well, the singer has now addressed fans and said the screenshot is fake about which he already addressed in past.

Asim Azhar took to his Twitter and said, “To all reposting a screenshot of a “news channel” that said I had labelled Merub as my sister because of a fake chat a fan had made, I clarified it a year ago. 🙏🏽 reminder since this is a beautiful moment of my life that I want to cherish. Doosre ki khushi mai khush hona chahiye.”

Recently, the singer has called out the netizens on not supporting him when he had a break up. He said that when he had a breakup these so called people called him out by saying ” you have also lost it – (Apka bhi chance kat gya, Sabka chance katey ga), . He further said, ” the netizens blamed me and said,” you have lost it even if you are famous singer”, they made rude memes on me but I stayed quiet ”

The singer shared all the old references too. He said that it is only for the first time he has shared a tweet and netizens are calling him out for that.

It is to be remembered that today Hania Aamir also called out Asim Azhar and said , ” Either you can be a celebrity or a bitter Ex with no dignity ” . This actually didn’t stop Hania she further shared her thoughts on a social media page’s post about her, she said, “its not about Ex’s getting back together but it’s about “Bullying” which is unacceptable”.

There is also another thread found on Twitter that says that Hania isn’t innocent at all and had run a full propaganda campaign related to facing harassment from Asim Azhar’s side. The twitter is out-pouring with a lot of tweets related to Hania and Asim feud.
