Today, Ali Zafar opened up about his Kidnapping experience for the first time. He said that he and his wife were kidnapped in 2009 which was traumatic experience and they don’t talk about it. Ali took to Instagram and wrote, “In 2009, me and Ayesha were kidnapped. We survived and don’t really talk about it. However, that did not leave the trauma that being blackmailed, bullied and harassed by someone who came to your parties, flaunted pictures with you and called you a friend did. We decided to file for damages but seeing how difficult the system makes things for you to seek justice, I have decided to put things out there for people to read for themselves. I have made a thread on Twitter where I have posted some of the documents from my evidence in court. Almost 5 years ago, I turned to our justice system, the proper and professional way, to seek justice and claim damages. Replying to Ahmed’s question about Feroze Khan’s violent scene, Iffat Omar said, “I actually warned Feroze Khan not to do this scene the way it is written and I told him that it should be done in a lighter way, even I also told Ahsun Talish to tone down the aggression but the actor didn’t agree and did it the way he wanted to do and the outcome is infront of you” . Talking about backing out of the drama, she said, ‘I already committed and performed many scenes of drama and backing out was going in the loss of production , I am professional, I recorded my protest’. The year 2022 has been very difficult for the people of Pakistan as internal and external factors have cause extreme inflation in the country. This has caused problems not only for the lower and middle classes but many people from upper middle class have also been crushed. The political instability and what followed after it has caused many moments of sadness and darkness in the country but what can never be reversed is the brutal targeted murder of famous journalist Arshad Sharif.

Arshad Sharif Shaheed comes from an army family. His father was a Naval officer and his brother was a Shaheed from Pakistan Army. Arshad Sharif’s mother had to see her husband and elder’s son’s burials in one day and now she has lost her second son in a brutal way. Arshad’s has left behind his five kids who are too young to bear this heavy weight and pain.

Arshad Sharif was a brave journalist and he stood by his ideals till his last breath. He had to leave his country and he came back in a coffin. Shaheed’s daughter has written a letter for her father and when the video came on Arshad Sharif’s YouTube channel, Pakistanis cried with the words of a daughter in pain and are asking for justice to be served.

Pakistani dramas generally revolve around love stories of people in their teens or twenties, evil mothers in law and sisters in law and the famous sisters rivalry. The dramas are seldom about anything else and the same content is being repeated over and over again. So, Pinjra has come out as a breath of fresh air between all the stagnant content. Pinjra has shown how parenting is a difficult job and how wrong decisions of parents effect children.

Pinjra was written by late Asma Nabeel who also the wrote the famous Khaani. She however, could not complete the script and cancer took her away from this mortal world. The actors in the drama including Omair Rana, Hadiqa Kiani, Sunita Marshall and all the child stars have made it a must watch with great lessons for parents as well as children. Sunita Marshall shared that the drama has left a long lasting effect on her too.

Sunitaa shared that reading the script and then performing in the drama made her more conscious for her kids as well. She added that she has stopped comparing her kids as she learnt that comparing your children’s abilities is toxic and she has now stopped doing that.
