After giving hint about becoming a brand ambassador for PSL team, she confirmed that she is the brand ambassador for a local mobile phone brand.

However, Yasir Hussain stood against this and he believed that Pakistani actresses should get this opportunity.

In a recent live session with Anushay Ashraf, he talked on this matter in detail.

Yasir Hussain said, “She must come here for one year and work hard as our actresses do and then she deserves a brand. She must collaborate with us, she is shooting in Turkey even. If she has came to Pakistan and then shoots in Peshawar or in Karachi for the mobile ad but now in this way your people have no work. What did you get? Even you didn’t get business from it.”

Anushay Ashraf gave her point of view and said, “I don’t think so due to one or two campaigns studios don’t shut down. Like Kareena Kapoor did work for Faraz Manan.”

On this, Yasir Hussain said, “I am so surprised that a person like you is not getting my point then how will common people understand this.”

Anushay Ashraf responded, “Because I was happy when I watched the series and I thought she should come and this is how brands are earning and selling their product.”

In the end, Yasir Hussain said, “This is my opinion but why are you getting offended by this? I am not getting offended by your statement. I am talking about all those actresses who have worked day and night and now they deserve to be a brand ambassador. After all the years of hard work, they deserve this but no, your own brand hired someone from another country and giving out all the money.”

I will accept that our drama is good if the international audience begins watching it despite the language barriers, similar to how Turkish and Korean dramas are being watched.”

Yasir Hussain while defending his statement against Azfar Rehman mentioned that “Yes I mentioned Azfar’s name when I was questioned by the host that which one of the actor is not good at acting.”

“Azfar Rehman is a really good friend of mine. He always gave me the best advices. Azfar was the first to advise me on saving. I mentioned Azfar’s name because I was quite sure that he will not mind”, added Yasir.

Further Yasir added that “Once Azfar was questioned that who do you think is overrated in our industry he replied Yasir Hussain and I think he was right. The whole world knows me just with three dramas.”

People think that only I’m wrong if I answer such questions. The directors and TV channels should be questioned on doing such things”, added Yasir Hussain.

Yasir further said that “I really wanted to mention my name in every answer but I was not allowed to do so. If someone will ask me the truth, I’ll definitely tell the truth. There was nothing wrong I said.”

Yasir Hussain is indulging in a war of words with Nadia Khan. Nadia is an actress, host and now reviewer of dramas. She is a part of a show Kya Drama Hai and she reviews all the on-air dramas alongside Marina Khan and Atiqa Odho. She recently spoke about Paradise, a drama starring Iqra Aziz and Shuja Asad. Aaj aap aik saal k ho gaye hain Mashallah. Aik saal pehly jab KABIR Hussain is dunya mai aya toh mujhy laga k Khadim Hussain (ABBA) wapas agaye hain.
