Meanwhile, I already proposed Iqra and things between our family were already sorted. According to the plan, Iqra was unaware of the proposal in the Award show. After a while, I said to Saba Qamar that I am coming back after proposing Iqra, to which she was also quite shocked”. In a recent interview with Iffat Omar, Yasir Hussain shared his interesting love story with Iqra Aziz.

“I saw Iqra at an award show in Houston. I was done with my act and I saw this girl backstage in a visible distress. Iqra had lost her phone in the huge arena and she was worried about finding it. While everybody told her it was impossible to find her phone, I gave her hope that she’d find it and luckily at that very instant, she did,” shared Yasir adding that they had gone back to their hotels after that and he had dropped Iqra back alongside Saheefa Jabbar Khattak and Hira Mani.

Yasir then confided in Iffat Omar that he had known that very moment that Iqra was the one for him. And they had begun to hang out together in Houston.

“Although even Iqra knew about it, she didn’t accept it until very late,” said Yasir adding that he had been immensely impressed by Iqra’s mother and her nature and thought that she would be very much like her.

“I clearly told Iqra that I intended to make it official with her. We have an age gap of 10-11 years so it wouldn’t look good if I dated her and took her out on dates. So I straight away proposed and it was accepted,” added Yasir stating how he, being the expressive one had been the first one to express his liking to Iqra.

Iqra and Yasir together make an adorable couple and look very beautiful together. Currently the duo can be seen in ARY Digital’s Jhooti.

In an interview with Express Tribune a while back, Yasir Hussain revealed that he will be working on a Bollywood rom-com flick, ‘‘The director of this Indian film is a Pakistani guy Rizwan. I can’t disclose the title just yet, but for now I can tell you that it is being produced by an Indian chap called Gulraiz. The cast is essentially a ‘mixed plate’, which consists both, Pakistani as well as Indian actors. The shoot will take place in Mumbai and I will be flying off to India in about three days’ time for almost a week.”

Yasir Hussain & Ayesha Omar starrer feature film Javed Iqbal has attained a huge success on international platform. The main leads of the cast are in United Kingdom to attend British Asian Film Festival where the film was screened. The film was very well received by the audiences.

Abu Aleeha’s directorial film was based on Pakistan’s most popular serial killer, Javed Iqbal, who confessed killing over 100 young boys in Lahore in 1999. He was later on caught and was sentenced to death but he committed suicide before receiving the sentence. The film “Javed Iqbal” is written and directed by Abu Aleeha himself, and it is produced under the banner of KKFilms by Javed Ahmed.

In a recent interview with Samaa News, the sons of notorious Aunty Gormint said that she has been secluded by the entire family. He further revealed that looking out for rishtas of their daughters has become a strenuous task, as nobody wants to marry in their family. We all know that it isn’t justified with the lady, as she was uneducated and had no idea that her slang could go so easily viral. Or, this cheap publicity could lead problems to her family.

Now, slowly, actors have started to raise their voice for the helpless lady. In an interview with the entertainment website, Yasir Hussain of Karachi Sey Lahore fame said:

“Aunty Gormint had the nerve to say what people couldn’t say for so many years. The lady narrated the political scenario as it ought to be done. For me, she’s a favorite and an eye opener for this society. Instead of isolating her, the family should be proud of this lady because she was honest enough to hurl abuses at this government that deserves to be abused. Whatever she has done is hundred percent correct and there’s absolutely no reason to put this old lady into a socially awkward position.”

Saying somewhat similarly, Ahsan Khan being the concerned man also took the sides with the poor lady and said:

“I feel somebody who doesn’t get access to even the basic necessities, will definitely lash out. The lady was super sick of whatever was happening around her because nobody ever tried to make amends in the society. The video went viral and she was taken as a laughing stock. Had there been changes in her society after her video went viral, she would have been celebrated as a hero but because nobody did anything other than laugh, the lady is now in such awkward situation and extreme psychological pressure as I can assume. Such are the pathetic double standards of our society.” 

All we can do is hope that the same social media which ruined her life can somehow ease the pain or dim it.

Yashma Gill witnessed a motorbike accident while she was driving and stopped to help. The accident victim was heavily injured and Yashma stopped so she could help him to the hospital. She left her phone on her car seat when she got out of the carto help the victim. She took the victim to the hospital and saved his life but while she was out of her car helping someone else, her own phone got stolen.
