This year, five Pakistani films were released on Eid UL Fitr. All the film makers of Pakistan had higher hopes and expectations from the public and some how they managed to pull people towards cinema. Ghabrana Nahi Hai and Dam Mastam collected decent revenew on their first three days. Film makers were also amused that movies were smoothly running in the cinema but an international release “Dr Strange” came and affected local films. Dr Strange was released on 6th May after which all the Pakistani movies were taken down without any notice and information.

The filmmakers expressed their anger and conducted the press conference too. All the film makers are of the view that the international film could have been released with short delay or at least cinema owners should have not taken down Pakistani “New Releases”, that too on the fourth day of their release.

Alot of actors have recorded their condemnation and expressed their anger with cinema owners. They are of the view that a foreign film comes and takes over Pakistani cinema which is sad , they said that it’s injustice with the producers and actors. Amar Khan made a video. She hurtingly said that it strange that a foreign film Dr Strange came and they quietly halted Pakistani movies and lessened the screens.

We are in the year 2022 and it is still not over as a prominent journalist Arshad Sharif was shot dead in Kenya while he was in exile. The journalist belongs to an army family where his father Muhammad Sharif Tamgha e Imtiaz Military was a naval commander. His brother Major Ashraf Sharif embraced Shahadat in the line of duty as he was coming for his father’s janaza and Arshad Sharif buried two people of his household in one day. Today, in an unfortunate and tragic attack in Khuzdar, Balochistan, three children lost their lives and several others got injured. According to details, a school bus was targeted by India-based terrorists in Khuzdar, Balochistan. Three children were killed, while around 28 others were injured in Khuzdar attack. Pakistan’s Prime Minister also issued a statement, saying that “Security forces and law enforcement agencies will relentlessly pursue all those involved in this barbaric act.”

Many Pakistani celebrities were deeply saddened over the tragic Khuzdar attack involving the loss of innocent children’s lives. Durefishan Saleem, Mawra Hocane, Shahroz Sabzwari, Sami Khan, Kiran Haque, Asim Mehmood, Fiza Khawar, and Aiman Khan condemned the barbaric and cowardly act by the enemies.

Durefishan Saleem wrote, “The attack in Khuzdar has shaken me to the core. A school bus full of children was targeted in cold blood. What kind of cruelty allows someone to harm the most innocent among us? Every day, the headlines get darker. Tragedy after tragedy, and we’re expected to carry on like this is normal. It’s not normal. It should never be.” Shahroz Sabzwari wrote, “Coward enemy targets innocent school kids.” Mawra Hocane wrote, “Every new report is worse than the previous one… Attacking children is a heinous crime. Today in a very tragic and heinous incident a foreigner, working as a manager at a factory on Wazirabad Road, was tortured to death by workers on Friday over blasphemy allegations in Sialkot.
