Extremism in Pakistan is of various kinds and despite fighting a war on terror for over 20 yaers, things are still the same. Religious extremism is also increasing in Pakistan and one such painful incident happened yesterday in Jaranwala when a terrorist mob vandalized and burnt 5 churches and burnt property of Christian community over alleged blasphemy allegations. Police and law enforcement agencies kept standing and looking at things while people were losing their whole lives in front of their eyes. As usual committees have been constituted and cases have been registered after the said mob vandalized the Christian community for over 12 hours.

A female TikToker who was shooting videos at Minar-e-Pakistan with her companions was assaulted and harassed by a group of 400 unidentified men on 14 August, Pakistan’s Independence Day. The incident came into light when videos of men harassing the woman near Minar-e-Pakistan got viral over the internet.
The first information report (FIR) was registered at the Lorry Adda police station on the TikTok star’s complaint after hundreds of unidentified persons harassed her at Minar-e-Pakistan. In her complaint, the Tiktoker stated that she was filming a video on 14th August along with her friends when 300 to 400 people attacked them. She said the crowd surrounded them, pushing and shoving. They also tried to tear her clothes, she added.

A horrifying incident recently took place in Faisalabad where four women were disrobed, tortured and paraded through a Faisalabad bazaar in broad daylight by a group of men who accused them of shoplifting. Several video clips were making rounds on social media which shows a group of men dragging the women as they cried out for mercy. The footage showed the victims being stripped naked, pleading for a piece of cloth to cover themselves and getting beaten by sticks.

Azam Khan is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Quetta Gladiators and Sindh. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in July 2021. He is the son of former Pakistani cricketer Moin Khan.

Initially the backlash started about Pakistani artists not caring about their self-respect sitting at Javed Akhtar’s knees by the public but then a statement of Javed Akhtar regarding 26/11 Mumbai attacks was highlighted by The Print and then a video started circulating by Daily Qudrat where Javed Akhtar said that terrorists are freely roaming around in Pakistan and the whole hall was heard clapping on it while later that party was held.

Veteran Pakistani actress Durdana Butt passed away,earlier Today. A few days ago the actress contracted with the deadly Corona virus and was placed on ventilator when her health condition deteriorated two weeks ago. Her family also requested to her fans and admirers for the prayers and well wishes. Fans from all over the world sent prayers for Durdana Butt but she didn’t regain her health and passed away. Television actor and radio host Khalid Malik announced this news on his Instagram today.
