I refused to portray that character because I played a negative character just before that drama so I didn’t want to do the same thing again and again.”

“Then they offered me Hafsa’s role which I changed a little bit. The part in which Hafsa makes sketches was added by me, they were not written in the script”, added Yashma.

Yashma had adopted 2 stray dogs which had been the victim of much torture at the hands of cantonment board. They had been once before dragged by their necks with wires around them, and thrown out but still returned, them they were blindfolded and taken out , yet they came back. So I heard of this on my last trip here and I adopted them and got them vaccinated, says Yashma.

Yashma mentioned that “now I have returned on my visit to them in Lahore , and I have found out that they have been shot by cantonment board!! I am in absolute shock !! These dogs were of no harm to anyone, yet someone complained to cantonment board and they had them shot”. 

Yashma is now demands justice for her dogs, and for other such dogs that have been victim to such cruel fate. Furthermore, she added  “idk if the guy in the video had anything to do with the incident but his remorse and indifferent attitude and the statement “that pets are only always inside the house” boils my blood. People with such attitude in authority can’t get us anywhere with the safety of animals in future”.

Because it was Sunday so unfortunately she couldn’t get hold of all the staff in the office but she requested to get to the bottom of this and whoever is in charge of this atrocity with strays should immediately be told to act otherwise.

Ramadan 2024 saw a growing trend of game nights and we saw many celebrities growing out and enjoying different games at several venues. There were physical sports like badminton and tennis while celebrities were also seen playing boardgames before Sehri. The trend grew a lot and game nights were held every other night.

We all expect Pakistani films to hit the screens on the expected release dates however, this almost never happens and Yalghaar got delayed several times due to production and technical issues.

Now, Waar producer Hasan Waqas Rana’s much-anticipated action movie Yalghaar is finally hitting the theatres on Eid-ul-Fitr 2017.

A local publication got in touch with Bilal Ashraf, and here’s what he said, “I am super excited. It’s probably the most anticipated Pakistani movie ever. The wait was definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed.”

Further on, he said, “It’s is something you guys haven’t seen before, and you will know it for yourself as the trailer comes out soon.”

“I’ve seen the first two minutes of the film and I just say it’s a cinematic treat! Something that is never seen before in Pakistan,” he added.

The film has been written, directed, and produced by none other than Hassan Waqar Rana, whose Waar went on to become a blockbuster film. Yalghaar stars Humayun Saeed, Shaan Shahid, Bilal Ashraf, Adnan Siddiqui, Gohar Rasheed, Umair Jaswal, Amir Qureshi, Ayesha Omar, Sana Bucha, Aleeze Nasser and Armeena Rana Khan in pivotal roles.

MindWorks Media is producing Yalghaar which will be directed by Hassan Waqas Rana. Claims are that it will be the most expensive Pakistani movie up till now. It is based on a true story about a successful military operation conducted in the Parichar region of Swat district. The lead actors include Shaan Shahid, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Sana Bucha and Ayesha Omar. Ashir Abdul-Azeem has also returned after so many years.

Reportedly the most expensive movie of Pakistan, Yalghaar has been completely shot in Pakistan. The film will release in 800 cinemas in 60 countries in more than eight languages. According to reports, Yalghaar has been dubbed into German, Japanese, Norwegian, English, and Chinese with sub-titles.

The promotions of the film will begin on 17th June and the first show of the movie has especially been reserved for the children of Edhi Foundation and families of the martyrs in Rawalpindi.

Moreover, the film’s profit will be shared with the families of the martyrs.

Two local films were released this Eid Ul Fitr; Yalghaar and Mehrunissa V Lub U. Both the films have performed really well during the Eid weekend.

Lets breakdown the business for Mehrunisa first:

Monday: 1.1 crore

Tuesday: 1.75 crore

Wednesday: 1.4 crore

Total: 4.25 crore

Yalghaar’s figures are as follows:

Monday: 1.75 crore

Tuesday: 2.4 crore

Wednesday: 2.2 crore

Total: 6.35 crore

Both the movies are doing really well with Yalghaar showing occupancy of 99% while Mehrunisa stands on about 96-97%. The films have managed to perform really well when compared to previous releases of the year Chalay thay saath and Balu Mahi. The numbers were revealed by boxofficedetail and as per the reports both movies will keep on soaring high for some time. Yalghaar has mostly young audience while Mehrunisa is seen by familes. Yalghaar is winning above Mehrunisa with just a small margin but both are doing really well.

English movies Transformers: The Last Knight, Pirates of the Carribean:Dead Men Tell No Tales and Despicable Me 3 also performed well as compared to previous year’s Eid grossing over 3 crores.
