Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam have paired up for web series Ek Jhooti Love Story which is available on online streaming platform Zee5.

Until now you must have seen its teasers and people are looking forward to it. The story revolves around a girl and boy who make fake IDs and connect with each other. It’s about shaadi culture, social media personas, love, and our obsession with money and status. It’s a light-hearted comedy with important social messages.

The teasers have been released and trolls are calling it a copy of Indian movie Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge which revolves around the story of two incompatible students, with fake social IDs to fulfil their romantic fantasies online.

In a recent interview, Bilal Abbas Khan who is playing the role of Sohail cleared everything and said, “Oh, I have watched that movie and this is not a copy of that movie. Just because two people are making fake ID in the movie that doesn’t mean you will call it a copy. The film’s name is ‘Mujhse Fraaandhsip Karoge’ and the content is entirely different.”

“It was a whole film specifically about two people making fake IDs. Talking about this, we have addressed the social issue and other characters have their story. It’s not about Sohail and Salma talking to each other through fake IDs rather its a family drama and story of two families. So it’s very different and when you will watch it you will know,” he added.

A couple of days ago Osman Khalid Butt posted a picture with Ayeza Khan from the set on his Instagram and captioned it “Reunited”. This interaction had the fans guessing what these two have been reunited for.

Ayeza and Osman have previously worked together in Hum TV’s 2013 Ramazan special drama, “Galti Se Mistake Ho Gayi”.

Recently a news break that Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt have been paired together for a new drama serial “Chupke Chupke”. 

“Chupke Chupke” also features Mira Sethi, Asma Abbas, Ali Safina, and newcomer Aymen Saleem in pivotal roles. Digital sensation Arsalan Naseer of the Comics By Arsalan (CBA) fame is making his television debut with the show.

Arsalan disclosed some interesting facts about the project in an interview where he mentioned that the drama is a “tale of two families who are not only neighbors but are also related. The grandmothers of the two families have a never-ending beef but their grandchildren think otherwise. It is a love-hate relationship of one big family that is filled with occasional jealousy, friendship, romance, and lots of laughter.”

Mira Sethi plays the role of Osman Khalid Butt’s sister in the drama. Mira had revealed in a podcast that the drama is primarily centered around the character played by Osman Khalid Butt, but every character has their own track in the drama.

As originally planned the drama is a Ramazan special and will air next year on Hum TV throughout the month of Ramazan. It will be a lighthearted drama, just like Hum TV’s usual Ramazan special affairs, but it would not be an out and out comedy. Judging by the genre of Saima Akram’s previous Ramazan special drama “Suno Chanda”, that told the story of a joint family in a light hearted manner by blending the elements of drama and comedy, it would not be wrong to assume that “Chupke Chupke” will have similar energy.

Imran Abbas and Urwa Hocane have been confirmed to star in an upcoming drama. Produced by Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed, the drama is titled Amanat and is said to be a romantic drama.

Talking about the upcoming drama serial Amanat producer Sana Shahnawaz said: “Amanat is a romantic family drama. It is a very beautiful and interesting story with its own twists and turns. It is not just a love story as it has many other significant elements to it as well. It is not an unusual story but it is definitely something hatke”.

The cast of the drama includes names like Saboor Aly, Gohar Rasheed, Asad Siddiqui, Haroon Shahid, Saba Hameed, Babar Ali, and many others. 

Urwa Hocane and Imran Abbas are starring opposite to each other for the first time in any drama serial. Urwa took a long hiatus from drama Industry and is now back with drama serial Mushk.

Imran Abbas on the other hand has been active in dramas, but this fresh pairing is something to be excited for. Drama serial Amanat is written by Rukhsana Nigar and directed by and directed by Shahid Shafaat. The shooting of Amanat will be started soon and will be ready to air in 2021.

Eid Milad-Un-Nabi, also known as Mawlid and Eid-e-Milad is the day dedicated to the teachings of Prophet Mohammad and is celebrated across the country. The occasion is believed to be the birthday of the prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H).

The prophet was born on the twelfth day of Rabee-ul-Awwal (third month of the Islamic lunar calendar) in Mecca in 570 CE, and this day is marked as a national holiday in many countries with Muslim population. Usman Mukhtar is a versatile and talented star who recently played the role of Dr Haris. His role has not been appreciated by people because they were expecting much more from his character.

From his entrance in drama, people started talking about Dr Haris and due to severe criticism Usman Mukhtar had gone through a lot.

In the interview, Usman Mukhtar shared, “Sabaat was a roller coaster ride inside it was filled with emotions but outside for me, it was filled with lots of emotions because people weren’t happy with the fact that I was not entering then when I entered people had an issue with the therapist-patient thing then when it got addressed people weren’t happy with the kind of role it was, so it was a roller coaster ride and it ended on a positive note.”

He further talked about whether he will take such role again or not and shared the reason, “I won’t ever take such a role because my mental health is also very important. We make somebody feel very special in one second and then we make them feel useless in another second. I have gone through a lot mentally during this entire period of Sabaat and just for that reason I wouldn’t want to do this again.”

Talking about the character of Dr Haris, he shared, “I never felt like it was a pathetic role rather it was a different role but I feel like we don’t like experimenting. I was offered similar roles to Altamash but I didn’t want to do that. I want to experiment and I want to do different type of characters so that’s why I did Dr Haris and also because of the positive message that it had.” 

“But somehow our audiences take it too personally. After Anaa people had built up their expectations and I feel like they don’t wait. We love to create hot gossips which people love to share so in this way we don’t have patience. If you know about the ending of drama then why are you watching it? You learn about the characters and the story which unfolds with each episode but I feel like people assumed a lot and at many points, they were proved wrong,” he added.

Usman Mukhtar talked about the chemistry between Haris and Miraal and said, “Fans couldn’t see the chemistry between Miraal and Haris because it was not your typical love story. It was a very different kind of story, a different kind of dynamic but because we are kind of used to watching the typical rom-com with your protagonist so its an offbeat thing and that’s why audiences didn’t enjoy.”

Sonya Hussyn mentioned that ” I have no idea that this drama was inspired from a Bollywood film, I haven’t scene the film before either”.

Sonya was upset with the channel because the way they released the teaser was wrong. “The teaser was not released the way it should be, It was actually giving a look of movie rather than a drama”, said Sonya.

After facing a lot of controversy Sonya was forced to watch the movie. “Storyline and plot are borrowed from the film but things are very different from the film. The reactions, the relationship between husband and wife was not elaborated in the film as it is in drama” says Sonya.

Sonya further mentioned that ” I get upset when people without watching the whole drama and story starts controversy”.
