Initially, I was shocked to get the character of Dr Hasnat, I was already watching The Crown. I never thought about getting it. When I got the character, I got extremely happy. I was a bit worried when they asked for the auditions. I was given two scenes, then my agent told me, ‘there are 8 actors from India and Pakistan so be prepared with auditions’. First, I made a place into the top five, then I made the place in to top two. I took help from Nadir, he taught me things and approved my audition. I also gave an audition with Elizabeth Debicki. I got excited but still they didn’t call me, they called me when I stopped waiting for it, I stopped it”.

Talking about the delay in Selahaddin Eyyubi, Humayun Saeed said, “in the start, people gave a lot of news about Selahaddin Eyyubi, it was quite hyped up and that is the reason why people got worried when they didn’t hear anything about it, well, the drama is soon going on the shootings and it will be aired in five to six months. The set of Selahaddin Eyyubi is grand and huge, and I think it’s the biggest collaboration that pakistan has ever done with any other industry or international media, it is huge, a few pakistani actors will also work in it so that people can connect that it’s a collaboration of Pakistan, I can’t say anything about working in the drama because of language barrier, it is being shot in Turkish language, maybe I would do a short character. Humayun Saeed is married to Samina Humayun and the couple does not have any kids. He revealed the reason for not having kids and said, “We had some issues because of that we could not have children. It is God’s choice. I love all the children.”

Humayun Saeed is a brilliant Pakistani actor who has earned huge fame and success right after he got into the industry. He got his first chance from popular PTV mini series Yeh Jahan. A lot of actors got fame through Yeh Jahan. Humayun has countless hit serials and films on his pool and he is one of the biggest Pakistani producers as well.

Talking about his success and start Humayun Saeed said that it was not easy for him to enter in the industry and he had to do a lot of struggles for stepping into the industry. He said that he had also faced a scam and fraud.

Humayun said, “once a man offered to me that he will make me a hero if I would be ready to finance that serial by arranging 1 lac and 50 thousand rupees”. Humayun further added, “I lent money from another friend of mine and then the drama maker demanded more amount which was arranged by me and we made a serial and it was being edited when Tasneem Aslam (popular producer) saw it and said to me that the drama is so bad but you seem to be doing a little better in terms of acting”. He said that after his meeting with Tasneem Aslam, he got a chance in Yeh Jahan. Here is the video.

Humayun Saeed is the biggest star in Pakistan right now. From producing the biggest dramas and films in the country to being part of blockbusters like Mere Paas Tum Ho and London Nahi Jaunga, Humayun has been the biggest wave maker and trendsetter in Pakistani entertainment industry in the last decade. Recently Humayun Saeed revealed in Mazaaq Raat that he had to audition multiple times to get his role in The Crown Season 5. He was shortlisted when he sent his first audition. He then auditioned again with a romantic scene when he was finally selected for the series.

Humayun Saeed also revealed that a very dramatic scene was cut from the series which he believes would have looked great. They cannot extend the series episodes for more than an hour therefore they had to cut the scene. In the scene Diana tells Dr Hasnat that she was ready to convert to Islam for him. Humayun said that he loved that scene but it did not make the final cut.

Lately, the Dil Lagi actor appeared in Samaa TV’s new show Super Over in which he talked about his meeting with Shahrukh Khan which occurred in London during Zee Cine Awards.

Talking about the meetup he said, “At that time Khuda Kay Lie was just released, it was also released in India and Shahrukh Khan was telling me that whosoever has watched it, he has praised the film, we discussed about the exchange of films, also the idea of taking flags on stage was of Shahrukh and the whole hall praised the moment when we united the flags”. Likewise, Humanyun Saeed has ruled the television industry in early nineties and both have significant names. Currently, the news of the two superstars have gone viral on the internet after the ‘Team Reviewit’ uploaded a short interview of Shaan Shahid which was for Talha Adnan, in the interview, Shaan Shahid expressed his views on current Pakistani films, he said , “Pakistani industry needs to explore genres like Horror and Sci-Fi and it can only be done if the makers get rid of Ayunga Jaunga kind of films”, this went viral on Instagram and created a noise on social media. A few fans thought he’s jealous and a few said that Pakistani industry surely needs a direction and experimentation.

Money Heist is one of the most-watched and popular TV series on Netflix. With its 4th season coming, rumors started circulating that Humayun Saeed will be part of its new season’s cast.

This news took social media by the storm but Mere Paas Tum Ho actor Humayun Saeed came forward and rejected all the news regarding his role in the upcoming season of widely famous TV series Money Heist.  He also promised people that he will come up with his own version of Money Heist.

With its 4th season coming people actually believed that Humayun Saeed was contacted by “Money Heist” producer Alex Pina to join Professor in Season 4 as ‘Islamabad’. Furthermore, it was circulating on social media that Humayun Saeed will be facilitating and running Professor’s operation from Pakistan as ‘Islamabad’.
