Mahira Khan, UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan and an accomplished actress plus activist for various different causes, condemned the attack on PIC Hospital in Lahore by lawyers on Wednesday. The actress, who has also been vocal about a number of unpleasant incidents in the past, recently took to her Twitter to condemn what had transpired at the hospital and the number of causalities it had resulted in.
“Even in WAR you do NOT attack HOSPITALS!! These are the law makers, the providers of justice, the educated ones of our country.. scary scary to see. #Lahore #Lawyers,” wrote Mahira on her Twitter and rightfully so.
At least three patients were reported dead and more than 25 doctors injured when protesting lawyers broke into the emergency ward of Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore. The chaos forced people out of the hospital and doctors alongside their paramedic staff was locked inside rooms and beaten, being made to leave patients, even critical, unattended.
Meera said in a video, “I am receiving threatening phone calls. I want the government of Pakistan to give me protection.” She further added, “My life is at risk.”
Further, she did not reveal any details about the threatening calls.
She was attending an event where a group of men surrounded her to take a selfie with her. One of them tried to touch her inappropriately several times.

She expressed her sentiments and said, “I just want to say thank you to my God who gave me the strength to work. I also want to thank Hum television, Momina Duraid for considering me for good projects. Thanks to my brother to believe in me, also my mother who is sitting in the audience. Thanks to my family, I lost my father three months ago it was my last serial he watched.”

Recently, he has achieved another milestone. Asim Azhar and American band Krewella are going to collaborate soon. They are collaborating for a song called Paradise for upcoming album of Krewella band, Zero.
This is one of the very first collaborations between a Pakistani artist and an American band.
Krewella is an American electronic dance music band. The band consists of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf. Their debut album was Get Wet.

Humayun Saeed has received praise for his work in this drama. In an interview, he talks about what made this serial successful and his upcoming projects.
“When I said the entire country would talk about it, I knew part of it was because of the criticism it is going to face. But that’s what made it so successful – the way the script is written is more interesting than the storyline,” said Humayun Saeed.
He concluded and said, “Since we can’t rely on Indian movies anymore, we need to produce more of ours and this is the opportunity we should capitalize on.”

She ended her video and said, “My friend is much better, her feet got twisted. She had a minor injury and she had seven surgeries.”
