Imran shared that his life and the way he looked at things completely changed when his older sister passed away. He said that he was so close to her but Cancer took her away and this loss was a cruel reminder how temporary this life was. He remembered how his mother’s hair always smelled of fresh jasmine flowers. He said that his mother observed pardah and he has therefore never shared a picture of her even after her death but she was a very beautiful lady. He also shared the last moments of his mother when she passed away in his hands and how difficult it was for him and his sister.

He also realized that life is very temporary. People keep negative feelings about each other in their hearts or bad-mouth each other which is not going to help you in the long run. He said that he also realized that all the material things are of no use in the end. He made up with Khalil ur Rehman Qamar who he had a misunderstanding with and he also made up with Nida Yasir who he was not talking to as he felt that hatred is useless in this world.

Rumours we abuzz that the actors were dating and Nargis was swift to state that she did not even know who Imran Abbas was! The actress also called Imran a ‘nobody’.

This year has had many rumors of Pakistani celebrities heading towards Hollywood but just in Imran Abbas has signed his first Hollywood film. Imran Abbas known for projects like ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat’, ‘Alvida’, ‘Mera Naam Yusuf Hai’ and many more has signed a British feature film.

Imran Abbas has revealed that he will be playing the role of a spy of a Syrian-Moroccan descent. He also added,

“I have many get-ups in the film and I will be seen in about six to seven disguises as I play the lead protagonist,” 

The film is titled ‘The Trojan Horse’ and will start shooting in July with major shoots scheduled for the month of October. The film will be shot at multiple locations including the UK, Europe and Turkey.

When asked about who his co-stars and the rest of the crew will be the Khuda Aur Mohabbat star said that so far he can not reveal anything about the rest of the team. He mentioned that since international stars are very committed to the kind of roles they sign for, he cannot – for now – confirm who his co-stars will be. He also added that he will reveal more details in the coming month.

When asked about if he will be taking a break from dramas he said,

“I will be taking a break from local productions but I will return after my gap as international projects require immense dedication and commitment.”

He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 opposite Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D. The talented actor was also nominated for a Filmfare award in the same year for the Best Male Debut category. He later also made a cameo in Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

It is good to the see the initiative taken by people to revive the Pakistani film Industry. After Shoaib Mansoor, many producer and directors have followed his lead and invested in movies. We already saw brilliant movies like ‘Chambaili’ and ‘Ishq Khuda’ this year and the brilliant Tarang Telefilms which were a breath of fresh air for us viewers. The upcoming movie ‘Main Hoon Shahid Afridi’ is one of the most hyped movies nowadays and ‘Abdullah’ is another addition to the list of movies that are worth looking forward to.

It has been directed by Syed Ramish Rizvi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment Productions. The teaser of the drama serial has been released by Geo Entertainment.
