Zulqarnain Haider is a Pakistani (former) cricketer who has played for the national team as wicket keeper batsman. He also played for Pakistan’s Under-19 squad. Zulqarnain Haider became part of the national cricket team in 2010 as cover for wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal during their tour of England. Inzamam ul Haq is a former Pakistani cricket team captain and a right-handed middle-order batsman. He came into the limelight after Imran Khan (former captain of the Pakistan team) noticed him. Inzamam-ul-Haq had been complaining about chest pain over the last three days, a cricket-based website reported. After tests, it was revealed he had suffered a heart attack and needed immediate surgery. Former Pakistan batting great and ex-chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq underwent an angioplasty surgery on Monday evening after he suffered a heart attack in Lahore, his manager revealed. According to the sources a stent has been successfully placed in Inzamam’s heart.
Inzamam’s condition is declared stable, however, doctors have placed him under observation at a private hospital in Lahore.

Artist Sataesh Khan, who left showbiz in 2012 and joined a religious group ‘Al-huda’ is now seeking divorce from her husband Malik Noraid Awaan. Sataesh khan married Malik Naveed Awaan, in a grandeur party in 2013 the same man who earlier married famous singer Annie Khaalid. However after few months of marriage Annie Khaalid later took divorce and claimed she was brutally tortured by Malik Noraid Awaan. The mob violence, people breaking into houses in the night and attacks on women have increased by a hundred percent in some areas and the latest victim of this increasing violence is former actress and Geo News anchor Zainab Jamil. Zainab Jamil left the showbiz industry for the sake of Allah a few years back.
Zainab Jamil runs a Salon in DHA Lahore and she was being followed by a few men. She even got a threatening letter at her salon a few days back. She later got shot outside her salon. She survived his attempt with five shots and she got into her car and was taken to a nearby hospital. She does not know who the attackers were and has suspicions against her husband whom she was having problems with and lived separately.

Former Pakistani Television actress, writer producer and host Nausheen Masud passed away. Nausheen Masud was a popular PTV actor and host. She was suffering from cancer for many years. Nausheen Masud has worked in numerous famous Pakistani dramas which include Jaal, Colony 52, Gher Tau Aakhir Apna Hai and Dolly Ki Ayegi Barat. All these dramas were phenomenal hits after which Nausheen became a known face.
She also hosted popular shows including Andaz Apna Apna. Nausheen also did direction for multiple music videos of popular Pakistani singers including Shahzad Rai, Junaid Jamshed, Aamir Zaki, Jawad Ahmed and music band Junoon.

Former Pakistani actor Mustafa Qureshi’s wife Rubina Qureshi passed away at the age of 81 today in Karachi. Rubina Qureshi has been diagnosed with cancer from last two years and was under treatment in Agha Khan Hospital. She was in coma since last two months, but couldn’t survive as she breathed her last today in Karachi. Rubina Qureshi will be laid to rest at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s tomb after “Asr prayer” on Wednesday.
Rubina Qureshi was a prominent and legendary classical Sindhi singer, who rose to prominence from Radio Pakistan in the 1960s. Rubina Qureshi was also awarded with Presidential Pride of Performance Award by the government. Rubina Qureshi’s son Aamir Qureshi is also an actor by profession.

Arshad Malik’s family sources confirmed his death yesterday and said that Arshad Malik had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Islamabad for the past two weeks after contracting the corona virus and was on a ventilator

We got married pretty young. I was 19 and Umer was 21 years old. Umer was a student here in Australia and I was back in Pakistan. He wasn’t settled, I wasn’t settled. What exactly is settled? Fancy corporate job, big mansion, a great luxurious car?! We did not have any of these things, Umer and I both were students when we got married. He was completing his bachelors then. We had a very simple wedding, only a Nikkah ceremony. My dress plus jewellery all costed approximately 15k – Pakistani rupees. Umer wore a 10k pakistani rupees kurta. A close knit ceremony which included immediate family and close friends. Why? Because we decided to invest that money for us. We made getting married easy like it’s supposed to be. No demands were made from the either side. We decided to invest time and money in and for our relationship. It made no sense to us to spend a huge amount for an event – that no matter how perfect; people would still complain about. .
We saved the money and used it for something that would benefit us in the long term. Umer was living in sharing with other students before I came here, he moved houses few months before I arrived here in Melbourne. He bought everything from scratch, he assured me that I would find every basic item required to operate day to day function in our home. From tv, fridge, washing machine, hair dryer – right down to Muslim shower! Yaaas! (Cannot survive without it)

If I measure according to the current society standards – 4 years and 1 kid later we are still not settled. But if you count – a roof to live under, good food to eat, good enough car to get out and about, a few outings here and there, good clothes to wear, a coffee machine that makes barista coffee every morning, great phones to use, and good health and laughs (very important). We’re doing just alright 😊My husband is a self made man. I couldn’t be more proud of him. And I couldn’t be more proud of myself that I chose him as a life partner. Thanks for being my rock. Eggs
Not only are eggs super delicious but can be confused anytime of the day. They are rich in antioxidants, protein and iron. One egg can provide up to 1 mg of iron while helping regain lost vitamins which might get triggered by anemia.
You can cook up eggs in any form; whether it is a boiled egg, fried egg, scrambled eggs, eggs cooked as a meal; etc.
Pomegranate
Pomegranate contains iron, Vitamin A, C and E along with potassium and fibre. Due to anemia, one may feel lethargic and tired throughout the day which pomegranate is able to overcome. Pomegranate also helps to improve blood circulation in the body. One can either eat pomegranate on it’s own or incorporate it into a healthy salad. Pomegranate juice can also be consumed which protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation.
Spinach
Spinach contains iron, Vitamin A, B9, C, K and E, calcium, fibre and beta carotene. Spinach contains higher level of Vitamin K than most vegetables which helps to maintain bone health in our body. Spinach can either be eaten as a daily meal or even consumed as a drink. Beetroot
Beetroot (chukandar) can help increase blood circulation, is rich in iron, Vitamin C, contains powerful antioxidants, manages blood pressure, gives glowing skin, has anti inflammatory properties, boosts energy and stamina, improves digestion and lowers blood glucose. Beetroot can either be cooked as a daily meal incorporated with other vegetables and also consumed as a fresh drink every morning.
Soybeans
Soaks are high in protein, low in fat and help fight anemia to a significant amount. Soybeans also contain powerful antioxidants which can fight iron defiency in the body. Consuming overnight soaked soybeans every morning can help curb iron defiency and fight anemia to a large extent. Soy beans products include soy milk, tofu, soy flour, soy sauce and soyabean oil.
Kale
Kale contains fiber, antioxidants, calcium, Vitamin K and is a good source of Vitamin C and iron. Regular consumption of foods made with kale can curb anemia.

Urwa and Mawra made ignorant statements about mental health.

Mawra defended her statement through her Instagram by posting a Google screenshot which says: “If you eat lots of processed meat, fried food, refined cereals, candies, pastries, and high fats products, you are more likely to be anxious and depressed.”

Just when you think people are over Coke Studio’s Ko Ko Korina debacle, someone shows up and makes us recall all the pain we felt listening to the track. Ahad Raza Mir’s much awaited Coke Studio debut proved to be a bigger disaster than Chain Aye Na. From politicians to general public everyone bashed the singers and the platform for ruining a classic. Although, Coke Studio had not come up with any clarification, the singers Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan defended their act multiple times.
Coke Studio fiasco made the Sindhi singer Jigar Jalal to come up with his own version of the song. In what is possibly the first video of the series titled Goth Studio, Jalal begins by saying, “Agar Ahad aur Momina Ko Ko Korina gaa sakte hain to Jigar Jalal kyun nahi?” (If Ahad and Momina can sing Ko Ko Korina, why can’t Jigar Jalal?)
This catchy tune starts with the singers original lyrics, “Jungle me dhoonda, ke sheharon me dhoonda, magar mujh ko Ko Ko Korina kahin nahi mili,” (I looked for Ko Ko Korina in jungles and cities but couldn’t find her anywhere). Well, honestly, this rendition may not have been made on the scale as big as Coke Studio’s, it surely sounds better than what Ahad Raza Mir sang.

Javeria Saud’s JJS productions would definitely remind you of Ekta Kapoor’s Bala ji Telefilms. Following the footsteps of the Indian dramas, this drama tried to rise to success but did make it.

Another drama that revolved around the hardships of a widow ,constantly suffering would make you think how cruel life is. This drama was not amongst Sanam’s best dramas and could not achieve good ratings.

Another drama from the JJS productions had all the viewers like ” Whats with the story?” With no solid storyline, the drama was disliked. The ost, however , made it to the list of good songs.

Mahira Khan’s debut with Humayun Saeed was not much of a success and Mahira’s fans were greatly disappointed. Humayun did not give his best in this drama either.
Numm:
Sania Saeed and Fawad Khan, despite being good actors, could not take this drama to the peak of success. It was another flop serial with good OST.
