Humayun Saeed is all set to be a part of another drama “Mein Manto Nahi Hoon” soon. According to initial information, the drama is written by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar.

Humayun Saeed while talking about the female leading star of the movie said: “We think of a fitting actor for the role and once the chosen actor is interested, accepts the offer and we’ve signed them on, we announce it to the public”. Samina asked Humayun that is it right to say that his quarantine gave him a new best friend. Humayun said that he already shares a great friend friendship bond with Adnan Siddiqui.

Eventually, there’s also a happy ending which makes them feel optimistic about their own lives. It’s a sad truth.”

Humayun had earlier lost his mother Zakia Rana Saeed in May 2012 due to prolonged illness, she was laid to rest at an ancestral graveyard.

Pakistan’s film industry is coming up with new ideas and plots which has compelled the viewers to start considering their homemade products rather than watching Indian movies as their primary source of entertainment. It was heard few months back that Actor, Producer, Humayun Saeed is working on his next project, making Shahid Afridi’s character as the central point of his next film, “Main hun Shahid Afridi”. The Movie is now all ready to be released though no such news has been aired on media.

It seems that Humayun has been smart enough to cash the cricket craze that exists within every Pakistani and with a hope of getting viewers who would love to watch their cricket idol ‘Boom Boom Afridi’, an entire movie has been dedicated on the story of how Shahid Afridi’s life took a new turn and made him a real hero in the field of cricket.

It is to be remembered that a similar movie will be coming up, focusing on the life and achievements of Imran Khan, a former Captain of Pakistan’s Cricket Team. In the wake of recent increase in the number of coronavirus cases, people in Pakistan including celebrities are exercising extreme caution. This is exactly why Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui had gone into self isolation after their return from their trip to the US.

Then following precautionary measures both Saeed and Siddiqui got tested for the novel coronavirus while still keeping themselves in quarantine.

However, the two have tested negative as thier results came in last night. Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Saeed both shared the news on his social media.

“We received our COVID -19 test results tonight and it’s negative….Thank God! But we will stay in isolation for 10 more days till we go to our sweet homes. Thank you all for your prayers,” wrote Adnan.

Although we’re glad Adnan and Humayun’s tests came out negative, people have been criticizing the two for wasting a test kit when it could have been used for the more deserving ones.

Adnan Siddiqui posted a video message to inform his fans about his quarantined time with Humayun Saeed.

He said, “So we landed early in the morning and Humayun and I decided that we will not go to our homes. So, we are in a hotel and isolating ourselves for 14 days. We will not meet our loved ones.”

He further said, “We have decided to eat home-cooked food and keep talking with our fans.”

The Mere Paas Tum Ho duo has taken social responsibility to save themselves and others from Coronavirus which is rapidly spreading.

Previously, Maya Ali on her return from US tour for Shaukat Khanum fundraising event underwent for Coronavirus tests and fortunately, she was tested negative.

Upon their return from the US, Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui had gone into isolation to prevent the spread of coronavirus had they been infected while they were abroad.

Following the isolation, Humayun and Adnan both have now decided to get tested for Coronavirus to eliminate all the symptoms.

Humayun shared the news on his Instagram about getting tested for the virus.

“Self-quarantined ourselves at a hotel after returning from the US. Today Adnan Siddiqui & I took the coronavirus test. Will be getting our reports back tomorrow insha Allah. We have no symptoms so far. Was worried a bit about the test but it went smoothly. Praying for everyone’s safety,” wrote Humayun Saeed on his Instagram.

Here’s hoping Humayun and Adnan’s tests come out negative. Until then, stay safe, stay indoors people.

The DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor was replaced by Major General Babar Iftikhar as the new DG ISPR, according to the media wing of the Pakistan Army.  Major General Ghafoor’s services have been transferred to 40 Division Okara.

The two have met before and they were in all praises after meeting each other. Earlier Humayun Saeed took to Instagram and wrote, “Always a pleasure meeting @asifghafoor.ag. Leading Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed told fans about being a guest at the house of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on a visit to India many years ago.

While appearing in a program on a private TV channel, Humayun Saeed revealed that he had gone to India for a role in the popular Bollywood film Ghajini, where he also met Aamir Khan at his Mumbai home.

Humayun Saeed said that he stayed at Aamir Khan’s house for 3 days, and Aamir Khan saw him he said that you are quite good looking but this role demands something else.

Humayun Saeed said that we had a lot of fun, I met Aamir Khan twice and he offered us a lot of local food and dishes and then we came back to Pakistan.

The trailer of Zarrar is going viral on social media and it is receiving good reviews from the people.

The famous star Humayun Saeed also watched the trailer and he loved it too. He posted on his Twitter to praise action sequences in the film and he is looking forward to the film.

Shaan Shahid has not revealed the release date of Zarrar but it will release anytime in 2020.

Humayun Saeed is back from Bangkok after facing a horrible accident. Humayun Saeed is thankful to our Creator and his fans who prayed for him. Revealing his future plans, Humayan told he is all set to produce next film which is a light comedy entertainer named ‘Jawani Phirr Nahin Aani‘.

Humayun has finalized the locations in Bangkok, Thailand. Shooting of first spell will begin from November 20th in Thailand. Humayun is planning to complete and release this film within an year. The rumors of this comedy film were in media since early 2014.

The host asked him if he can make a Jawani Phir Nahi Aani with the leading actresses of his generation aka Sania Saeed, Sadia Imam or Nadia Jamil.

Humayun Saeed said that yes a film with his earlier leading ladies is possible and can happen.

In another fun round, called the Review round, Badami asked Saeed to give a one word advice for the people whose pictures would appear on the screen. And it was during this that Humayun advised actor Imran Abbas to wear less makeup.

Alongside Imran Abbas, Humayun Saeed lent out advices to a lot of his co-stars. For Mehwish Hayat, Saeed suggested that she should eat less while for Ayesha Khan, who quit showbiz after her marriage, Humayun said that she should call him some time at least.

Meray Pass Tum Ho has been garnering all sorts of appreciation and positive reviews since the last week’s episode aired. The episode, which turned out to be truly heart wrenching and unpredictable, became a trend on Twitter and has had about 4.3 million views in just three days.

Adding further that the overwhelming response had made him feel as if he had given the last episode of his career, Humayun Saeed stated, “Thank you all for your unwavering support over all these years and especially for all the words of kindness for my act of Danish. Need your prayers for my future projects.”

Humayun Saeed was especially praised for his expressions and his acting following the scenes where Shahwar showed Danish pictures of his wife in a pink night dress. Humayun’s expressions as Danish were enough to convey Danish’s pain and the dialogues the scene had were simply beautiful, heartbreaking to say the least. Viewers have been pouring praise and adoration for the actor and the entire team of Meray Pass Tum Ho, more so after last week’s episode.

The episode has crossed more than 7 million views on YouTube and taking that into account, actor Humayun Saeed took to his social media to thank his viewers for all the love and appreciation he had been receiving. However, Saeed did not forget to add that it was Adnan Siddiqui’s reaction to his action that had the scenes became such a huge success. And to be honest, Adnan Siddiqui as Shahwar did deliver his part perfectly when Danish landed one blow on him after another. Humayun Saeed is one of the biggest stars in Pakistan. He is also the biggest producer in the industry. Humayun Saeed has done countless projects in Pakistan with his recent film London Nahi Jaunga becoming a massive hit in the country as well as overseas. But he has mostly stayed in Pakistan throughout his long career. Humayun Saeed is now branching out and he is making his Hollywood debut with The Crown.

Humayun Saeed will be playing late Lady Diana’s ex-lover Dr Hasnat Khan in the series and his first look is out now. Though Humayun has played very hero-like characters throughout his career, this is the first time he is playing a real life person on screen.

Humayun Saeed talked to Maliha Rehman for Dawn Icon where he finally opened up about getting to play a character in such a big series. Humayun revealed that he was actually familiar with Hamid Hussain who also represents Nargis Fakhri as he had talked to him once for casting Nargis in his own film. Then Hamid called him and asked him if he would be open to send an audition for a role. Humayun said that he sent the audition. Later he signed an NDA when he found out that it was for The Crown.

It started with a call from Hamid Hussain, who is now my talent agent. He used to manage Bollywood star Nargis Fakhri and I was in touch with him earlier to cast Nargis in my film. We had remained in touch since then. One evening I got a call from him and he informed me that there was a really important international project that he had in mind for me but I would need to send an audition for it. I only remember auditioning for the first few projects at the start of my career but I know this is a norm in the West and agreed to it.

Next, I signed an NDA [a non-disclosure agreement, which meant that he could not discuss the role with anyone] and was pleasantly surprised to know that the role was for The Crown. I had seen The Crown and was aware of its popularity. It was an exciting notion that I stood a chance to be part of the series. I sent my audition and, after this, I was asked to do an online reading with the director and then with Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana in the new season. Things had moved really fast till this stage. However, after my reading with Elizabeth, I didn’t hear back from Hamid. I resigned myself to thinking that the role had gone to someone else. But then, on the tenth day, I got a call from Hamid and all he said was ‘Congratulations!’ Soon, I was in London, isolating for a week before my first day on set.

Humayun also revealed that he did a week long workshop to understand Dr Hasnat’s character as he is a very private person and not much is known about him.

Before filming began, I got to do a workshop with a real surgeon in the UK to understand how a surgeon would behave and react on the job. Of course, I knew about Dr Hasnat Khan even before I got this role. After my casting was confirmed, the team shared research material with me on the doctor. It included a few interviews as well as some images. Dr Hasnat Khan is a very private person, which was why he and Princess Diana broke up — he couldn’t handle being in the limelight. Due to this, there is very limited material on him available in the public domain. So I had to study whatever was shared with me in detail.

Humayun had a great experience working with Elizabeth Debicki.

I am always nervous before I begin working on a project and, in this case, with a completely new team, for a series that is watched worldwide, I naturally had apprehensions. I told Elizabeth I was nervous before we started filming and she was very sweet. She told me that, until our rehearsal, even she had been nervous, but now she was confident that we would do a great job. This definitely helped.

Humayun also shared how he felt about getting into a very non-glamorous role as he usually plays a very hero-like characters.

I would sometimes try to push up my hair right before a scene, but the stylists on set would immediately notice and they would put my hair back in place. When I saw myself on screen for the first time, I was completely taken aback! I didn’t look like Humayun Saeed at all, but like the doctor. On a serious note, the makers of The Crown are extremely particular about details and the look that they had created for the doctor had to be followed to the tee. It was very impressive seeing firsthand how they looked into every tiny nuance.

He further added:

The hair, make-up and styling was done in such a way that my face looked different. My hair and moustache were changed. My hair was thinned and it was parted sideways so that it seemed that I was slightly balding. I also stopped watching my diet for a while. Usually for roles, I have to watch what I eat in order to not gain weight but, in this case, I just ate whatever I felt like.
