Hamza Ali Abbasi is one of the most loved stars of Pakistan. Anything he does becomes a hit with the audience and fans love to watch him on their screens. He was on a break for several years as he was studying Islam and recently made his comeback with the drama Jaan e Jahan on ARY Digital. He will soon play Batish in Green TV’s upcoming drama Farrar.

Hamza Ali Abbasi was a guest on a podcaat and he shares that he does not consider himself a born Muslim as he chose Islam finally after he studied all religions. Yes, he was born into a Muslim family and he was by default a Muslim but the life he is living now is of his own choosing.

This is what he shared:

He also spoke about how his journey of religious transformation is boring. It’s not that he went through any big event. He always questioned everything around him and he wanted to know how the world is working. The questions took him through a journey and he has become what he is today.

Listen to Hamza Ali Abbasi’s story of transformation:

Hamza Ali Abbasi is grieved over the judicial system and he is demanding justice for Salahuddin the poor and mentally unstable man who was guilty of breaking the Atm machine, his theft was to break a machine and to wander from one city to another. He couldn’t communicate like a normal person. He was investigated in a heinous way and brought to death.

Hamza Ali Abbasi says
“When small-time thieves die in jails because they are poor while big-time thieves enjoy five-star facilities in jails because they are rich/powerful, how can you expect our country to prosper? Without justice, no country can prosper no matter what the economic policies… Its Allah’s law.

He was mentally challenged but seemingly physically ok and Punjab Police’s cited reason for the death of natural causes seems like NON SENSE! Any suspensions in Punjab Police? Anyone arrested from within the police? Ya Phir bass aik a khatam honey wali INQUIRY?

He is right that all the rich people are enjoying the luxurious jails and having a desired lifestyle there and him, being a poor helpless and mentally unstable man wasn’t cared for by, and was brutally interrogated and brought to death. How shameful is that ? how a country and nation can grow this way.

He said that he was mentally challenged but was physically alright and it is the police who has beaten him to death. He is asking is this just an inquiry or are we going to see the justice this time ?

We pray that the culprits of Salahuddin are brought to justice as soon as possible.

Well, we will have to wait and see how this controversy ultimately ends.

Last week a Bollywood film Baby starring Akshay Kumar in lead role was not given a censor certificate. Fakhre Alam the head of Sindh Censor Board commented the film as anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslims. The film also starred two Pakistani artists Rasheed Naaz and Meekal Zulfiqar.

While the participation of Pakistani artists in this film is still debated on social media, Hamza Ali Abbasi, has also released a statement about the film Baby. As per Hamza,

“I was offered this Indian film BABY last year and i immediately said no to it seeing a slight anti Pakistan element in its storyline”

Hamza Ali Abbasi is a very talented man without any doubt but lately his status updates on his facebook page have been inviting a lot more criticism than one person can handle. His dramatic resignation and his regular status updates on politics and national issues have made him more than just an actor and director. There are some people who get inspired by him but there are also those who make fun of the actor who has something to say about everything.

Hamza Ali Abbasi said in one of his posts that some brand pulled back its brand endorsement because of his opinions on national issues.

What has been the talk of the town is this status of Hamza Ali Abbasi which has not been taken well by many people who think that Hamza Ali Abbasi should stick to acting!

Hamza Ali Abbasi edited this post after public outburst because initially he had used the words “musician and artist ” and not “musawir”.

In the edited post he also added the part about his own “repentance” after people talked about everything that he had done in his film and questioned whether that was “art”!

He also gave more clarifications as people kept on criticizing him.

Abbasi and Naimal to get Nikkahfied on 25th August.

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi finally spoke about his Nikkah rumors and he has officially confirmed this news of him getting Nikkahfied with her fellow Naimal.

In his recent Facebook post, he stated:

“I planned to say this after 25th but since the news is already out so here i go. Yes i am deliberately using this public attention to Me & Naimal getting married to put a message across. “

Further he shared his struggles and expressed,

“I say these words with the sole intention that anyone who is going thru the same turmoil & making the same efforts as me might take encouragement & get reassurance. When you realise that its not fairytales & it is TRUTH that you have a Rabb & you will stand accountable infront of him after you die, it changes you. Your first priority becomes fixing yourself rather than changing the world. You look at your life and realise that many things you do that give you pleasure are the same things which cause displeasure to your Lord. You try to fix them but your efforts are not perfect, you often fail miserably, you fall down but then you keep at it.”

Abbasi talking about magic and how Allah blessed him in a beautiful manner, he said:

“Then one day, in one specific aspect of your life, Allah gets satisfied with the sincerity of heart & accepts your extremely flawed efforts for him and then HE TAKES OVER! “

He shared how Naimal said ‘YES’ to him to walk along with him in his life long journey, he expressed:

“but believe me when your sole reason is to please Allah then Allah makes a man like me, who could never sustain anything emotional with the opposite gender, could never comprehend the idea of marriage in his head, Allah makes that man go upto his very platonic friend for 2 yrs Naimal and tell her that he doesnt want a relationship (that GF/BF non sense) neither is he claiming to be in love with her but he wants to marry her with the intention of strengthening his very turbulent efforts to walk a path which pleases Allah and to my surprise she agrees not just to marry me but also expresses her joy in walking this path with me & now we cant even breathe without eachother. “

He finally announced dates of Nikkah with Naimal.

“So yes Me & Naimal are having our small Nikkah on 25th & a small Walima on 26th and then looking forward to a lifetime together in making efforts to please Allah together. Pray for us. Thankyou.”

Yup, its true. P.S Massive respect to Naimal for being ok with a Ganja me on Nikkah 🙂♥️ pic.twitter.com/8z9Uns0xo3

Hamza Ali Abbasi who has always been quite expressive and has a massive fan following, is back in the game with a new show, BOL News Headquarters. He was expected to give an overview of all the news in an exemplary and ethical manner but the critics were not quite happy with the choice of guests made.

Since Hamza opened the show with “Welcome to BOL News Headauarters, a place where we aim to provide news without any masala and bias.” had given lots of hopes to the viewers. A leading website had recently questioned the show since it was appearing more like a PTI promotional campaign. The first and second guests of the show were Firdous Naqvi, founder member of PTI and Sher zaman, senior Vice President PTI, the show then went on to criticize the government, and numerous other political parties from the PTI’s point of view.

But Hamza who might have known or not known about the allegation, intentionally or unintentionally cleared all the misconceptions with his facebook status.

We hope this show doesn’t turn out like every other typical show.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is a versatile Pakistani television and film actor and an islamic student. He boosts a strong Instagram following of 1.1 million. His hit dramas include Mann Mayal, Pyare Afzal, Alif and Jaan e Jahan. His popular films are Jawani Phir Nahi Aani, Umro Ayar & The Legend of Maula Jatt. A few years ago, the actor made headlines after announcing a break from media but he returned soon with a drama serial Jaan E Jahaan.

Recently, Hamza Ali Abbasi appeared in Mansoor Ali Khan’s podcast in which he clarified his statement of quitting showbiz industry.

Talking about it, “I didn’t bid farewell to showbiz. I just made a video in which I clearly said that I’m not quitting — I’m just taking a break. It should not be taken as if I’m leaving, because the Islamic scholar I follow has a very different approach. I mentioned that I follow Javed Ahmad Ghamidi, but the next day, it was in the news that I had left the showbiz industry.

I went to Dallas to learn Islam from Mr. Ghamidi. It’s very unfortunate that people here don’t watch the whole video and derive conclusions from short clips. In our industry, Islam and entertainment are seen as complete opposites, so the next day, the headline was: ‘Hamza has left the media.’ Here is the link to the video:

Hamza Ali Abbasi, a heartthrob of millions without a doubt, has always been popular since his inception in the industry. He started off his career in acting with theatre, than hit the TV screens and then hit the big screens not long after doing TV serials.

He is a very opinionated person and has gotten in trouble a lot for his opinions some times. People including his fans sometimes disagree with him but he has still managed to win the hearts of many with his charismatic personality and an A class acting.

After Theatre, TV and Films Hamza’s another talent has been revealed. He plays guitar and for a starter he is without a doubt doing a great job. I am no expert of how a guitar should be played but it sounds nice and rhythmic. I am unable to make out the song though.

Here are the videos of him playing guitar among his friends and he is playing the same tune in both of them.

Actors these days are known to undergo extreme body transformations and donning different look for roles – to get into the ‘skin’ of their characters, and we have seen many actors doing so. Fawad Khan’s transformation from fit to fat for his upcoming film had already rose our expectations.

Bilal Lashari of ‘Waar’ fame was taking up the herculean task of rebooting Pakistani cult classic ‘Maula Jatt’, with Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi as Maula Jatt and Noori Nath, and we couldn’t contain our happiness to see these too hunks in a different avatar.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has jumped into the bandwagon of getting into the role and is apparently working on a whole new look for his upcoming film. We’ve seen him with beard and mustaches a million times but this time he’s looking really different with those bushy mustache and slick back hair and we are sure that the film is surely going to be a power packed one.
