Mehmooda Khalil-ur-Rahman, the wife of late Mir Khalil-ur-Rahman, who was the founder of Jang and Geo Group, has passed away. Ms Rahman died in Karachi at the age of 95. She was the mother of Jang/Geo Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman and the grandmother of Geo Television Network CEO Mir Ibrahim Rahman. Following the property transfer case, a man named Salman has reached to the court against Umer Sharif and Zareen Ghazal. He bought a flat from Umar Sharif’s wife.
Muhammad Salman, who bought a flat from Umer Sharif’s wife Zareen Ghazal has approached the court and asked court to become a party in the case as according to him, he bought flat in 4.5 crore from Zareen Ghazal in the presence of Umer Sharif himself along with full documentation but now Umer Sharif himself approached the court and didn’t transfer the property. The petitioner Muhammad Salman has requested the court to hand over the flat to him after intervening into the case.
Umer Sharif’s lawyer said that his third wife Zareen Ghazal has sold the plot without his consent on the fake signatures & documentation and that is why Umer Sharif reached the court.
The court has sent notice to Umer Sharif and Zareen Ghazal to record their answer regarding it by 21st November 2021.

Today, Fawad Chaudhry has also announced that the cinemas in Eight cities of Pakistan including Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be opening very soon.
