Hira Mani’s interview with Samina Peerzada started with her talking about Mani instead of her own self. This is the first time that a celebrity talked about her better half in the interview before she talked about herself. When Samina Peerzada asked Hira why she was Hira Mani and not Hira Salman or some other name because Mani was after all Salman’s nick name then she shared her deepest feelings of love for her husband.
Hira said that she did not know who Salman was, she always knew Mani and believes that Mani is her introduction. People did not know that Hira was 17 when she spotted Mani on television and felt an instant connection with him. Hira was Mani’s biggest fan at that time and she shared on this show that she is still his fan.

While talking to reviewit about this upcoming drama Faiza Iftikhar said,
“Ranjha Ranjha Kardi is the story of pure and raw emotions. It is all about feelings which are natural and free of impurities and pretense.”
Faiza Iftikhar also talked about her leading characters in detail,
“Noori is completely honest because she is incapable of lying and Bhola is innocent because he has not learned the ways of this world. Bhola is completely aware of his surroundings, he is totally capable of feeling normal human emotions like happiness, sadness and he can also get hurt. He is also capable of hating someone but he lacks the ability to recognize and express these emotions in a “normal” manner. Noori and Bhola’s worlds are different in their own way but they come together at some point in such a manner that they become one just like Heer and Ranjha.”
Imran Ashraf also talked to us about how much this project meant to him and how important it was for people to watch this play. He said,
“This script was offered to me some two years back, right after Dillagi. Faiza Iftikhar wrote this character with me in mind because she felt I will be able to do justice to it. Although I was being offered many other roles which I had been wanting to play at that time but I chose to opt for this one. It is the most difficult role of my entire career.”
Imran Ashraf also talked about how it was like working with Iqra Aziz. He said,
“Iqra gave every scene her very best, like it was all that mattered. I really enjoy working with Iqra, more than I do with any other actress.”
He also shared how much hard work he had put into this project and how it was like working with Kashif Nisar.
“I have dedicated all my time to Ranjha Ranjha Kardi for the past 5 months and have not done any other project. Kashif nisar is a dream director and perfect human being to work with. He understands the minute details of drama. I am most comfortable working with him.”
He also shared a little bit about Asma Abbas’ role in the drama and his experience with rest of the cast.
“I would also like to mention that Asma Abbas got one of the finest roles in this drama and she simply nailed it. Kashif Mehmood and Ammara Butt have also done a wonderful job. The script is exceptional and unique. Although, I have not yet done any scenes with Jibran Syed but there is no denying the fact that he is a brilliant actor. So glad he is part of this drama.”
Imran Ashraf also added,
“I hope and pray that our hard work pays off and people appreciate this unique script so that we can get a much needed break from saas bahu dramas and weak female protagonists.”
The drama buffs are already looking forward to this play because the promos are captivating as well as impactful. The fact that this drama has a dream team has definitely added to the anticipation. Scripts as different and honest as this one only come once in a while therefore we are especially hopeful that this drama will deliver.

Ohkay so, this episode of Koi Chand Rakh wasn’t special either but again, it did give me enough bits to laugh over because of the ridiculousness of some situations & certain reactions.
Heart Attack Which Didn’t Change Anyone’s Heart:
Ibrar uncle now couldn’t stop sympathizing with Rabail but then again, even though he admitted that he was at fault too, the fact remains that he didn’t do anything to stop this marriage from happening even after he found out on the day of the wedding that Zain was in love with Nishal. No matter what, he is also completely responsible for Rabail’s condition as he chose to ignore his son’s feelings & assumed that Rabail will make him happy.
The funniest moment for me was when Zain’s mother visited the hospital to see her husband who just had a heart attack & all she could think of was Rabail’s attire. Not only that, she commanded Rabail to come back zara tayar ho ke as people were going to visit Ibrar at the hospital. It is funny how in this drama so much focus has been made on how a girl should & should not look irrespective of the situation she is faced with. Zain ki Ammi ne Rabail ke tayar hone ki kasar to khud hi nikal li thi to abb Rabail kya tayar hoti. It was funny that Ibrar’s heart attack couldn’t un-puff the backcombing on his wife’s head & un-black the intensity of her kajal, bhai wah!
Zain’s zehan was about to get maoof when Rabail asked him a basic question of him being happy with this wedding or not but what’s funny is that his zehan immediately started to work when he wanted to flirt & get cheesy with Nishal. Also, Zain ko Ibrar uncle ke heart attack ki zara bhi fikar nahi thi because of which he was full fledgedly busy planning his second wedding when his father was still hospitalized!!! Nishal & Zain’s conversation was ridiculous again, they both were speaking about courage & being fierce & fearless whereas last time I checked, dono ki jaan sookhi hui thi aik dusre ke liye stand lene ka soch ke hi, lol! Kya courage hai bhai!
As always, Nishal & Co wanted Rabail to guide Umair again which is ridiculous. They got her married so that Umair forgets about her & then there they are calling her again & again to hover around Umair!?! Rabail was right, she was married & she had nothing to do with Umair but Nishal again emotionally blackmailed her. Nafeesa & her rants are repetitive. She is a perfect example of those people who don’t throw their naiki in darya, rather put up a billboard of their naiki on their forehead. Nafeesa had the audacity to tell Rabail that she regrets raising her in her home? Wow. I wish Nafeesa was just as focused on her psychotic Nishal as much as she is on Umair, that way she would’ve known that her daughter wss playing a far more dirty game that she wrongfully accuses Rabail of!!!
Zia bhai also made an appearance only to get friend-zoned by Nishal looool, but don’t worry Ziabhai, appko bhai material na man’ne wali aik behan jee material Sobia bhi hai!
Closing Thoughts – Dodgy Previews:
Overall, this episode of Koi Chand Rakh wasn’t special at all. Also, the preview last week was dodgy as I was looking forward to the scene where Zain spoke about getting married to Nishal but it wasn’t included in this episode. Not sure why they dramatically concealed what Zain was talking to Ibrar about, as if wo koi rocket ka design discuss kar raha tha. Duh! Anyways please share your thoughts about this episode of Koi Chand Rakh.
Baba Jani Episode 7 Story Review – Tonight’s episode of Baba Jani focused primarily on how Naila’s presence affected Nimra in particular. It also showed how much Asfand had learned from his previous experience and he made some wise decisions. Nimra and Sadia got more screen time tonight, Asfand’s character as usual proved to be the most refreshing element of the drama but some of the developments seemed rushed.
Najiba and Naila Team Up Again
The way Naila walked out of her house and was not willing to show any kind of flexibility showed that she was not the “victim” in this relationship. So far whatever we saw suggested that Saqib was just as mean as Naila but tonight he was definitely willing to do more than her to keep this marriage from breaking. Once Naila was at her parents’ house, Najiba made sure she also made an appearance every time something important was being discussed. Najiba and Naila’s sole purpose in life right now is to bully Sadia and Nimra in whatever way they can. The situations and their attitudes have been the same ever since Asfand got married. They also tried their best tonight to brainwash Asfand yet again! It was funny how Naila kept on saying “ek koney mei pari rahu gi” yet she was all over the place. Sundas Tariq’s acting was exceptional tonight especially in the scenes covering her unreasonable attitude towards Sadia and Nimra. These scenes however were somewhat abrupt and rushed, everything happened a little too quickly. By the end of this episode it seemed like Saqib might eventually move into this house instead of taking his wife with him which would create even more problems for Nimra in particular.
Asfand Refuses To Give In To The Pressure
Asfand’s reaction to everything that happened tonight especially when it came to Nimra and Sadia went to show that he was a different person now. He could not bear to think that his sisters might feel alone in any way but he was also not going to be unfair to Sadia or Nimra to please his sisters. Asfand’s reaction when Naila told him that Nimra still had her father’s picture and that too with Sadia was extremely pleasant. Sadia’s response when Asfand told her how he felt about this entire situation was also touching. Asfand and Sadia’s relationship is heartwarming. Tonight, Sadia was shown being more expressive and Asfand too enjoyed the appreciation and love which she had to give. Faysal Qureshi and Savera Nadeem are both brilliant actors and they always look amazing together. Their on-screen chemistry makes their scenes even more realistic and likable.
Nimra’s Reaction Was Relatable
Nimra’s reaction to everything that was happening was quite different from that of her mother’s. While Sadia is a mature, practical and wise woman who knows that compromising and understanding such situations is better than complicating things, Nimra looked at things differently. She did not say quiet when Naila taunted her on the breakfast table and she even shared her reservations about Naila with her mother. Nimra is also sensitive therefore she feels these things more. Even though she has started appreciating everything Asfand is doing for her but she does not think that she needs to put up with Naila and Najeeba’s rude behavior. Nimra’s reaction to everything was relatable and you couldn’t help feeling for her. Madiha Imam is an exceptional actress who always gives her best to every role she plays and never goes overboard. Her performance has been remarkable throughout.
Overall Impression
Nasir was once again missing from this episode and from Asfand’s life! Asfand’s sisters continue to “blackmail” him and even though he is wise enough to know better, he tends to fall for this emotional blackmail because he vowed to protect his sisters like his father would have. The timeline tonight was confusing and some of the situations were too rushed. Other than that, this episode was definitely better than last week’s episode because it focused more Asfand’s relationship with Sadia and Nimra.
Atif Aslam is a person who has worked really hard to make something of himself and he has transformed to the best version of himself over the years. Atif Aslam despite all the fame and international recognition has a very humble and down to earth personality. He is a family oriented man who has very distinct and set priorities for his life.
The Tajdar e Haram singer who has given a new life to this one with his beautiful voice and emotions has gone to perform Umrah these days. As after achieving all of your dreams and finishing your goals, the ultimate goal of us being Muslims still is to have a very strong connection with our God and to be on a higher level of Emaan.

A hater’s reply to the tweet was insensitive and in bad taste. Most often Mahira does not reply to haters but this time she decided to give him a befitting reply.
The people who commented under this reply lauded Mahira Khan for the response she gave. This response too in its own way was educational since Mahira pointed out the lesser known fact that men too can get breast cancer. She also highlighted another important fact that many women do not talk about this disease and die from it because there is so much taboo attached to it.

Anum Fayyaz and her husband Asad shared all the details regarding their relationship and marriage with Sanam Baloch on her morning show. No one knew till now why there was a two year gap between Anum and Asad’s nikkah and rukhsati so Sanam asked them this question. The couple answered all the questions in detail.
Anum told Sanam that her mother was unwell and the nikkah was not planned by the couple themselves, this was not their decision. Anum said that it was Asad’s mother’s wish and her mother’s wish too that nikkah should be done early and that it should be done in Makkah. Anum said that her mother passed away before her rukhsati but she prepared her for everything beforehand. She said that her mother did all the preparations for the wedding and told her where everything was and how everything should be done. Anum said that they never planned to do the nikkah so early but they were glad that it was done when her mother was still with her. Anum says that her brothers and sisters are younger than her so for them now her house is like a second home.
Anum Fayyaz and her husband Asad Anwar were invited to Subh Saveray Samaa Ke Sath in which they revealed how they met each other. Their story is filmi because the first time they talked to each other was purely by chance and they have known each other for 8 years now including the time when they were just friends.
Asad and Anum shared that the first time they talked to each other when Anum called Asad to ask about a friend’s whereabouts. Then they became friends and for almost six months, they were only friends. Asad fell in love with Anum because she was a loving and caring person but was afraid to show his feelings. He finally told her how he felt and that is when he found out that she felt the same way too.
Anum said that she needed someone in her life who would not stop her from being the person she was. She wanted someone who would let her show her love and concern for people. She said that Asad was this kind of a person so he was the ideal man for her. They also said that they had a long distance relationship for many years because Asad was studying in London. Asad shared that this distance brought them even close to each other because they were constantly in touch.
Mohsin Abbas Haider’s candid and honest interview with Momin Ali Munshi was one of the best interviews he has ever given. It was not too serious but at the same time he revealed a great deal about his career, preferences and personal life. He talked about all those things which he has not talked about before.
Sajal and Ahad’s on-screen couple was an instant hit and they are also good friends in real life. Although, Ahad already said in an interview that he wants people to stop making speculations about his relationship with Sajal but even then everyone wants to see them together. When the host Momin Ali asked Mohsin Abbas Haider that which two celebrities he wanted to see getting married, he said that Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali should get married. Momin Ali also agreed with him and said that they should get married now.

When Mohsin was invited as a guest on One Take, he finally told why he does so. Mohsin also read the comments of the people who find such pictures inappropriate.
Mohsin started off by telling that he started going to the gym and working on his body when he had to appear without a shirt in Na Maloom Afraad. At that time the director of the film said to him that his body should look ‘presentable’ if he was going to appear without a shirt in the film. That is when he joined the gym and there was no looking back after that.
Mohsin Abbas gave candid replies to all the criticism and also gave one logical reply. He said that he posted his picture only in his underwear because some people were saying he only works on his upper body and not his legs. He also said that in all the weight lifting competitions men wear minimal clothing therefore there was nothing wrong with these pictures. He also added that he had no wish to be Salman Khan of Pakistan and the reasons behind posting such pictures were entirely different.
The promo of Samina Peerzada’s show Speak Your Heart With Samina Peerzada’s next episode reveals that Hira Mani will be her next guest. Like many other celebrities on the show, Hira Mani too got emotional while talking about something relating to someone she knows. The promo does not reveal much. It shows Hira talking about an engagement perhaps prior to meeting Mani but then it isn’t easy to figure out yet what she is talking about.
She gets emotional while talking about a traumatic experience. Unlike the previous episode in which Maya Ali, Noor Zafar Khan and Sanam Baloch cried, people are not being too empathetic this time. Some people are saying that Samina Peerzada is now using these clips to grab viewers of the audience. Others went ahead and said that Hira was acting. Not only this, they also said that this was bad acting!
Looks like people have had enough of watching celebrities cry on Samina Peerzada’s show and feel that the producers should not be using such tactics to get the attention of the viewers. Samina Peerzada’s show has been popular because she finds out those details about celebrities’ lives which have not been revealed yet but now people are asking if using the tears of celebrities is now a way to get limelight.
Ohkay so, this episode of Dil Mom Ka Diya had nothing special to offer. It is becoming monotonous to the core. We get it, Ulfat is evil but what are they trying to convey & portray? Is the story ever going to move forward & are they ever going to show us the humane side of Ulfat? While watching this episode, the only question that I had on my mind was ‘what’s the point’?
Ulfat Is Evil & Everyone Else Is Annoying:
So, they literally took a whole new episode to finally reveal the truth that Afzal actually hit Ulfat & then like always, he was feeling guilty. Afzal has always felt apologetic even when he was not wrong so now he had a genuine reason to be apologetic so there was nothing new in this scenario as well.
The editing of Dil Mom Ka Diya has been quite choppy which really takes the flow & continuity of the situations away. When the baby girl was born, Salma named her Afza in front of Ulfat & now all of a sudden, they showed that after eavesdropping on Afzal & his niece, Ulfat found out that it was Salma who named her baby? As if Ulfat was not present there & in fact even Afzal was making excuses saying some Molvi Sahab suggested that name, trying to cover up? Nonsensical situation. Again, I am not sure what they are trying to suggest by showing Ulfat’s cold & indifferent attitude towards her daughter especially!
This episode of Dil Mom Ka Diya started on such a bizarre note where sweet Tamkinat & sweeter Azhar had a spat that too over Ulfat & Afzal? Just does not make any sense whatsoever. Also, the entire situation of Azhar demanding an explanation about Tamkinat’s former engagement & she not telling him was dragged. If it would have been Aqmal, things would have still made some sense ke chalo he doesn’t live in that house to actually know how evil Ulfat is but for Azhar to trust Ulfat & fall prey to her trap absolutely made me question his sensibility. Also, Tamkinat aur Azhar kitnayyyyyy sweeeet hain na I mean I am saying this in a good sense but still their utterly butterly sweetness was giving me a toothache. Can they both ever talk to each other without glycerine tears in their eyes? Too much hi ho gaya hai matlab!!!
To be honest, next time if I make a list of annoying parents, Ulfat’s parents are going to top that list with flying colors. Seeing the amount of input Ulfat’s father has in her life-long blunders makes me think it wouldn’t have changed anything if they had suggested that he didn’t recover from his heart attack after getting Ulfat married to Afzal in the hospital because Molvi Sahab’s character has been of no use anyways. Similarly, Ulfat’s mother is another gone-case who told Tamkinat that she will speak to Azhar but when he came & she stopped her, the mum didn’t utter a single word. Yes, in this episode she did give Ulfat a piece of her mind but then that much is so not enough for someone as evil as Ulfat. Also, when Tamkinat insulted Ulfat rightly so, her mum was the first person to snub Tamkinat? Seriously!?!
Well, Salma is another annoying character in this drama. The way she nit picks on every single thing that’s related to Ulfat suggests that she has no life of her own & as if that wasn’t enough that she has now started targetting Tamkinat as well. Also, didn’t she get to do her armaan puray on Afzal’s wedding that now when Azhar wanted a short & simple wedding, she again opened the box of her adhooray armaan? What an annoying character!
Farhat’s character is such a déjà vu. This girl was dying to get married in Ishq Tamasha & was showing the same eagerness that she is now showing in Dil Mom Ka Diya, also not to forget the typical eye rolling included. I totally believe that Alizeh Shah is beautiful but she needs to choose better or different characters, playing choti behan desperate for shaadi at a tender age is not doing her any good – she is capable of so mucj more!
Closing Thoughts – Nonsensical:
This episode of Dil Mom Ka Diya didn’t work for me & going by the preview, I am not sure seeing another heart attack will make things work either. Also, to show Ulfat doing something so extreme on her own whim is just too much. I am not really sure what the writer has achieved by adding all of this in her script – ratings or what? Nonsensical. Anyways, please share your thoughts about this episode of Dil Mom Ka Diya.
This episode of Balaa didn’t really take the story forward but focused on how the dynamics of Taimoor’s household changed because of Nigar. I do understand that they are showing everything for a reason but I find things too unconvincing especially Shama’s blindness & forced innocence. I hope to see a shift in the scenario & I also hope they don’t drag Nigar’s mental superiority for too long!
Nigar’s Evil Mind Games:
Nigar knows Shama in & out that is why she is exploiting her innocence to the fullest. We all know Nigar is evil but then there is no fun in the game considering how Shama is deliberately getting exploited at the hands of Nigar herself. Yes, it is good that Shama wants Taimoor to be happy & have a normal relationship with Nigar but then she knows Nigar enough to calculate that everything that she says is not as simple as it sounds.
Nigar came up with a plan of pushing Shama away from Taimoor & Shama obediently obliged? It didn’t even make sense to be honest. Yes, Shama is respecting the boundaries that Nigar is setting but then Nigar is not a stranger for Shama to not really understand what she is trying to achieve? Everyone in that family including Taimoor was aware of Nigar & her nature before they got married so how come Taimoor isn’t able to figure out that the difference in Shama’s attitude could be because of Nigar? It could be her doing? Taimoor has spent a lifetime with his mother to know that she will never say or do anything to emotionally upset him or anyone else for that matter so yes, seeing Nigar running a puppet show & Shama acting like her puppet is not too exciting!
Batool is the only sane one in this family because she sees Nigar for who she is but even Batool isn’t saying anything. Batool could see that Shama was disturbed, she was upset but even Batool didn’t bother talking to Taimoor to put things into perspective.
Shama pushed Taimoor away on Nigar’s suggestion, she also scolded Nigar in front of Taimoor that too on Nigar’s suggestion, but even then Nigar made an issue about laundry so I guess that should have acted like lightbulb moment for Shama that despite doing everything as per her wishes, Nigar is adamant on ruining the atmosphere & dynamics of the house so she should back-track a little & analyse things before becoming too submissive. I wish Batool opens up & tells Taimoor the reality because like she said, she knows that Shama is only going to suffer in the end by agreeing to everything that Nigar is demanding from her.
It is obvious that Batool will probably get rejected by the mother of the guy she likes & then she will have no choice than to get married to Junaid. I didn’t feel anything for Shama to be honest because she dealt with Zafar & Nigar enough to know that they will only create issues for her & her family so now to see her getting distressed wasn’t striking any chord!
Closing Thoughts – Scenario Should Change:
Overall, this episode of Balaa despite being decently executed didn’t do much in terms of story. I would like it more if they show someone counter-arguing Nigar & Shama not just giving into everything that her daughter in law says. The acting of everyone & the direction is spot on though. Kanwar Arsalan and Fatima Effendi have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy. While such a time is surely one to enjoy and be thankful, birth of a baby can also be a stressful period especially for a mother. Babies keep the mother up all night and for celebrities, the change in their physical appearance is also difficult to live with. When Fatima and Kanwar had their first baby, it was not easy for Fatima in particular because she used to feel left out since she was living a life as busy as that of Kanwar before but after having the baby she had to stay home with him.
