His wife Faryal Makhdoom previously took to Snapchat to criticize his family as she claimed they tried to destroy her marriage. Following the major feud and some astonishing financial revelations , Amir has decided to part ways from them, even his father.
Now 30, the former world champion confessed that an era of his life is over but luckily, a new one is underway, reported The Independent. “After the Canelo fight, my old team thought ‘he’s had his big fight, he’s done now’; I lost in May but by October/November it had all changed. So this is the chance for me now to prove everyone wrong. I’m not done. I’ve just turned 30, I’ve still got some good years left in me. It could be my time to shine,” asserted Amir. “My old team will think I made the worst choice by letting them go and say ‘watch his career go down the drain’. I’m not going to let that happen. I’m looking forward to proving them wrong.”

Have you seen how many tress there are up all over Dubai and other Muslim countries? Saying he should die is way over the top!”

In an interview some time ago Amir Khan had stated that he spends every Friday afternoon at the mosque near his training camp in California.
He said the mosque was his ‘favorite place to go’, adding, “I am not afraid of saying I am a Muslim. I think some people would be scared to say that they are Muslim, especially during the current time, but I am a proud Muslim. Amir Khan is in headlines again but unlike before this time it is not because of his marital life crisis but because he just landed in Brisbane, Australia to begin shooting for a reality TV show ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’.
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is a British made reality TV series in which up to 12 celebrities live together in a jungle environment for three weeks. They have no luxuries, and compete to be crowned king or queen of the jungle. It is now produced by ITV Studios and has been licensed globally to countries including the United States, Germany, France, Hungary, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Romania, Australia and India.
The show bosses originally considered Amir Khan will be an interesting addition to the show given his controversial relationship with his wife Faryal Makhdoom but since he patched up with her just yesterday we have no idea how this will play with the original setting.
Other celebrities including famous names are also landing in Brisbane for the TV show. Amir Khan further told reporters that he was using this show as an excuse to stay out of trouble.

Boxer Amir Khan has made his people proud and has garnered special places in their hearts. As every one is familiar with the dirty feud that went down between his wife and his family. To give you an insight on the back story it all started when his wife Faryal Makhdoom accused her in laws of abusing her and even persuading Amir to divorce her when she was pregnant with their daughter.

Religion clearly forbids us from being judgmental about others since its between individuals and Allah (SWT), however there are certain situations where voice should be raised. I am simply stating my observations based on facts, I am not being judgmental, and my observations can be flawed and might differ from yours.
I haven’t seen a person more bashed on social media than Amir Liaquat (except our former president :P) yet he is donned with garlands of praise and appreciation for getting highest TRPS. I would not go into discussing the reasons of people watching or attending his shows, but now that Geo Tv has made the lives of viewers hell by narrating his achievements every five minutes it has become unbearable more than ever. There are some other of his achievements that Geo Tv is not very proud about revealing.
Firstly his achievement of Doctorate; few years ago Mubashir Luqman conducted a program on the unauthenticity of Amir Liaquat’s degrees. He managed to get hold of Amir Liaquat’s degrees which he showed as a proof. Not only there were doubts about the institution of doctorate, the chronology of the preceding degrees was also ambiguous.
Second achievement is the conduction of his Ramzan transmission; a religious transmission where inappropriate language, topics and behavior are predominant, for example “tumhara chakar chal raha hai”, inquiring about girlfriend and insulting behavior with Taher Shah respectively. Apart from insulting Taher Shah, inviting a singer was inappropriate in the first place and that too for singing purpose. The scandal of Amir Liaquat of few years ago which became viral for the inappropriate language and reference of Indian movie and song shouldn’t be forgotten either. Amir Liaqaut’s dressing somehow gives it the aura of a fancy dress show through which he publicizes his own boutique.
Last but not the least; I would refer to Amir Liaquat Hussain’s column titled “Kuttay” regarding Mubashir Luqman published in November 2013. I understand they had some sort of clash going on, but was the kind of language used by Amir Liaquat appropriate and justified for a religious scholar? Is this how a sane being, a scholar well versed in religious literature should defend himself instead of answering the objections and queries? On the other hand Dr. Ziauddin’s series of columns entitled “Madari” addressed to Amir Liaquat Hussain where he raised many pertinent points regarding Aman Ramzan transmission says all.
Despite all these flaws and contradictions the show highest rating and popularity is a point worth pondering. At the end of the day this fault lies more on part of the viewers than the makers of such programs who are needlessly glued to such programs, hence making them a HIT. I wouldn’t have any problems with the program only if it is purely entertainment; I hope they stop using crutches of religion to support their programs which of course is beyond imagination since after all the popularity and success Amir Liaquat jald araha hai!
P.S. I refrained from addressing him as DR because I have my doubts about his degree; I will gladly recant if proved otherwise!

Love him or Hate him but you have to accept he is SAVAGE. Yes our very own Amir Bhai. We all remember the days when we first saw him as an extremely innocent host in Aalim Online. He started Ramadan transmissions, was accused of backing conspiracies when he was president of Neela Peela as he puts it (samajh to aap gaye honge!), hosted game shows, made people eat mangoes in most non-artistic ways and slammed Fahad Mustafa though now he loves him.

Boxer Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom are in Pakistan right now. The couple makes a lot of trips to Pakistan and has made efforts to promote sports in general and boxing in particular. The couple went to Wagha border where they clicked pictures with the security forces. Amir also talked to the media. Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom were in Islamabad today and they met the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan as well as the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar at the Supreme Court. They talked about promoting sports with the Prime Minister while Amir talked to the Chief Justice of Pakistan about the Diamer-Bhasha dam project.
Both Amir and Faryal shared the picture with the Prime Minister of the country on their Instagrams and also shared their feelings.
It is good to see the couple together and happy and making efforts for the promotion of sports in the country!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this episode. I have always liked Amina Sheikh as an actress because of versatility – she takes on different roles and plays every character brilliantly. This is the second time I watched her on a talk show, the first being Tonight With HSY and I really like how she voices her thoughts on different topics. She is a model, TV and film actress and along with that, she is also a producer. Sarmad Khoosat revealed that he first met Amina when she was producing a show.
Amina is one of those actors that started her career with TV and then went on to do films. Comparing the two different types of work, she said that film is a much more challenging, detail-oriented medium because on a big screen, people can spot even the smallest of flaws so attention to detail is important. She also spoke about the need to define contemporary Pakistani cinema.
