Talking about it, Ali Zafar said, “The thing that we needed to follow from Bollywood was their collective thought process, here the individual thought process is quite evident. My opinions are based on facts, you have to be neutral, you don’t have to be biased. An industry can’t progress if it won’t mark its mistakes and will learn from those mistakes. All the successful industries or countries are super professional because they always think collectively. They are always interested in your success because they know it will benefit them as a team.”

He further talked about what he wants to change in Pakistan. Talking about it, Ali Zafar said, “I want to change the mindset in Pakistan because whatever the product or outcome we see first comes into an individual’s mind as an idea and the common Pakistani mindset is very regressive”.

Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar was just called to attend Faiz Festival in Lahore. He ended up giving anti-Pakistan statements at the festival where he was applauded by the participants. Later that night he was hosted by none other than the rock star of the country Ali Zafar at his residence and many other Pakistani artists and invitees ended up sitting at his knees and crying while Ali himself performed songs in the same way for his guest of honour.

Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of harassment with her on more than two occasions. Recently Ali Zafar filed a defamation suit against Meesha for ruining his image publicly.

Ali Zafar has now filed a defamation case against Meesha Shafi. On the day of the hearing, he said, “Women who have been subjected to harassment should report the matter at the appropriate forum which is not social media”.

Ali Zafar was questioned by Meesha’s lawyer in today’s hearing. He was asked if the woman who has been sexually harassed should ignore it or report the incident?”

Ali Zafar responded, “I strongly believe that if a woman is sexually harassed and she feels strongly about [it], she should report the matter at the appropriate forum which, in my opinion, is not social media.”

On further questioning, he responded “When a woman is friends with you as well as your wife, she can complain about such a matter in private. He would have apologized to Shafi in person if he had harassed her”.

Ali Zafar also spoke about how he has been invited to many fundraising events and has been idolized as a role model. Despite having harassment charges on his head he still earned Rs. 500 million from his movie Teefa In Trouble. But Pepsi canceled two of his contracts due to allegations on his head.

The case is still going on. Only time will tell who is speaking the truth and who is lying.

Meesha Shafi accused Ali zafar of harassment and become an active part of the #MeeToo movement. Ali had denied all the accusations made by Meesha and had filed a defamation suit against Meesha.

The court after hearing had dismissed the harassment case on the basis of a technicality in the past and the defamation case by Ali was in hearing. Now Meesha has submitted a response to Ali Zafar’s defamation lawsuit on Wednesday to the court through her legal team saying that Ali harassed her on multiple occasions. She said that Ali Zafar harassed her in private studio and in family functions. Meesha has denied all allegations of slander made by Zafar in his defamation notice and she has said that she will prove Zafar’s harassment with evidence and testimonies of several other women who have accused Ali of sexual misconduct. Zafar’s legal team representative, on the other hand, commented that they are glad that Meesha’s team has respected the law and filed their response because this was their last chance.

The case is in the court and we’ll have to wait to see who wins this battle with honor.

Ali Zafar was the first star to sing the PSL Anthem. Seeti Baje Gi became a cult classic and it is the anthem people keep missing year after year. Ali Zafar has not been singing the anthem since the last few years due to the controversy he got in and PCB was asking other stars to perform for the PSL. Ali Zafar is now back again and he is singing Khul Ke Khel this time. Many Ali Zafar fans are super happy for the anthem as he is back in the game.

The rock star Ali Zafar has decided to make his debut in the local cinema. Ali along with the director Ahsan Rahim has teamed up for his film, which is not titled yet. The film is an action-comedy.

Regarding the film Ahsan Rhaim said,  “I always wanted to make such a film because the genre excites me and I believe it is unexplored in the Pakistan market. We plan to take it on the floors next year and release it soon after.”

Latley the news is that Ali Zafar has pulled out from the Bollywood film “Dear Zindagi”. Ali Zafar has also delayed his production Deosai to completely concentrate on Rahim’s film. Rahim shared that it was on a dinner that both the stars decided to work together. Rahim said that Ali is a very talented actor and therefore he believes that he will perform really well. Regarding the female lead role, they are in the process of auditioning.

The previous work of Rahim, has been really great which includes videos such as Laga Reh, Sajania, Kismat Apne Hath Main, Preeto, Dosti and popular TV ad films.

But did you know Ali Zafar and his now wife Ayesha Fazli were once kidnapped?

The incident occurred some 12 years ago when Ali and Ayesha were kidnapped for six hours only to be released by the kidnapper upom receiving Rs2.5 million from their parents.

Zafar’s car, was also taken away by the kidnapper, as the duo were kidnapped outside a CD shop in Lahore. 

According to details the kidnapper made Ali and Ayesha move from place to place for three hours and asked both of them to talk to their parents for arranging Rs2.5 million ransom, otherwise, he would shoot them.

Ali and Ayesha were only released once Ayesha’s parents paid a ransom worth 2.5 million.

Entertainment industries all over the world are somehow complicated, there are stars who are friends and there are those too who are rivals. Ali Zafar and Shaan both are one of the most popular stars of Pakistan but their public feud was nothing infamous.

For those who don’t know, At Ary Film Awards 2014, Shaan openly criticized Pakistani artistes who cross the border to be a part of Bollywood ventures, calling them “cheap sell-outs.” He blamed local celebrities for making Bollywood a stairway to their success.

While the audience, which included stars such as Javed Sheikh and Zeba Bakhtiar, was taken aback by Shaan’s comments, it was singer-actor Ali Zafar who answered him back as he received the award for ‘International Icon of the Year’. On the last day of 18th edition of Bridal Couture Week 2021, Ali Xeeshan presented his collection “Numaish”, a pledge against old age tradition of dowry. Talking about Karachi Fashion industry’s rude behaviour, Ali Xeeshan said, “after I was given the platform by Mrs Saigol in Lahore, I became an overnight star in Lahore. This wasn’t liked by the Karachi fashion industry because I got approval of people as a fashion designer. Then I went to Karachi. I was a young fashion graduate who was so scared of all the fashion industry’s big names. I was sitting with all the big names when Raheel Rao of Diva showed me his article about my Fashion show in Lahore, He said, “see I reviewed your work, read my article about you, the worst review, see this trash collection, the trash of Lahore, this is your worth”. I was so hurt, Karachi fashion industry made me cry, I went to the car and cried like I lost my baby. I am a fashion graduate and you have no degree to review my work. Talking about Raheal’s remarks regarding his mother, Ali said, “He kept on trolling me, I was conducting a fashion show in Lahore, my mother was on her Umrah trip, I kept a chair spare for her, in that fashion show, he said, ‘Circus in the town and also wrote on Facebook about me, “Holy Cow What The ____ is Ali Zeeshan Wearing!!”. You don’t have credentials to talk about my fashion or work. In the after party of the show, he tapped my shoulder and said, “which mother has given birth to this guy”, I couldn’t control my anger and slapped him. I am sorry I couldn’t control myself.
