Since the last few months, we have seen a huge legal battle between ex-couple Feroze Khan and Syeda Aliza Sultan. Syeda Aliza Sultan had announced her divorce through her Instagram and she had also revealed that her marriage to super star Feroze Khan was emotionally and physically abusive. Syed Noor has been serving Lollywood industry since a long time, adding new films in the local cinema businesses, however, with the revival of film industry in Pakistan, Lollywood’s future can be a good question.

Syed Noor recently shared at an event in Karachi, organized by Karachi Union of Journalists that he is all set for his next film ‘Bhai Wanted’. The basic plot of the story is to highlight the beauty of Pakistan, especially Karachi and for that all the shooting part has been arranged in Karachi only.

Though the film-maker did not mention the cast of the movie, he still revealed that the movie will hold big names with it where the audience will get to see senior artists on screen, followed by some newcomers as he believes that Pakistan has a lot talent in the field of entertainment and all that talent needs, is a chance.

Talking about it, Syed Noor said, “Rukhsana got to know about my second marriage after four years through the newspaper, it was published by Tahir Sarwar Mir because that was a true story and Saima told him, so he published it. She was silent after reading the news. She was upset but didn’t talk. One of our neighbours talked to me and said, ‘What have you done?’. Rukhsana accepted my decision. She was a very supportive wife”

He further added, “I will tell you how Saima and Rukhsana first met after our marriage. Saima was shooting for her film in Iqbal Town, where I was residing at that time. During the shooting, people gathered around her and started disturbing her. Saima decided to take some rest at a nearby house. The driver took her to my house, which was in Iqbal Town. My wife was not home. When she returned, she asked, ‘Who is in the house?’ They replied, ‘Saima.’ She was shocked but then went inside the kitchen, prepared tea and snacks for her, handed them over to the servants, and went to her room. It was a great gesture by Rukhsana. She was setting things up to observe Saima, and Saima ultimately proved herself.”

Seasoned director Syed Noor has revealed his film making plans for the year 2014. He plans for four films in the year 2014. Here is what English Daily The News has reported

RENOWNED Pakistani film director Syed Noor has wowed to bring about a positive change in the state of Pakistan film industry in practical terms and is going to set a unique record by completing and releasing four movies in the year 2014.

This was announced by Syed Noor while talking to The News on Friday. Syed Noor pointed out that there had always been a lot of talk but very less work was being done in the film industry. But, the veteran director added, instead of talking like others, he had taken very positive and important practical steps to bring about a change in the state of the film industry by making four movies in 2014 only.

He said that his first movie in this string of new flicks was going to be ‘Price of Honour’ which would be released in April 2014.

The next movie ‘Bhi Wanted’ will be out on Eid ul Fitr. His third movie ‘First Love’ is scheduled to be released on Eidul Aza while the fourth and the last movie ‘O America’ is planned to be released in the end of this year.

Syed Noor acknowledged the role of the media in promoting healthy and positive trends in the film industry and appealed to it to continue its support.

He also announced that following the agreement between the exhibitors association and the film producer association, 1 percent of the yields from the Indian films exhibition would be paid to the technicians of the film industry. He added that the cheque of the 1 percent amount would be presented to the head of the special committee formed for this purpose to be distributed among the film technicians later.

Talking about his love story, Syed Noor said, “We developed a liking for each other, our film went successful, we started working together on other projects, we developed an understanding too, once I picked her up for our shooting, now we were taking and I held her hand, she instantly replied, “Now that you have hold my hand, never leave it”, after which it became my test as a lover to stand by her, so I decided to hold her hand forever”

Talking about Rukhsana Noor’s reaction on his second marriage, Syed Noor said, “Rukhsana was a very courageous woman, she was quite upset and disturbed after my second marriage but later on she realized that I am true in my love so she allowed me to give Saima all her legal rights as wife, it was the time when I declared my second marriage after her approval”.

Talking about Saima’s struggles as Stepmom, he said, “My elder daughters went abroad after getting married sooner after Rukhsana’s death, they didn’t accept Saima, my son Shazil was quite young, it was Saima who started looking after him, and then after that my kids developed love for Saima because my daughters also came to know that she is quite devoted to me, my son and my family”.

Recently, Syed Noor gave interview to Pakistan Khabar on Eid Day. In his interview, Syed Noor opened up about television channels and TV producers behaviour with him.

In response to the question, “Have you been offered by the channels or producers for a television project direction? He replied, “No, they haven’t approached me. Maybe, according to them, I’m not capable of directing their dramas. I have a name, but perhaps I’m not good enough for them. No one has contacted me so far, and I don’t charge that much. They’ve been making big productions like Duniyapur and other shows, so if you’re producing quality content, you’re likely earning well from it.”

Syed Noor has burned all the boats when it comes to making successful films for Pakistani cinema. His recent attempt with Chain Aye Na has failed miserably. But, it seems that Noor isn’t ready to just take the failure of his film yet.

While talking to media in a press conference, he said:

“You journalists are seniors and have been here for a longer time. Bloggers are a recent creation. Educate them. They are hurting the industry. Don’t provide platform to such people. It’s only here that my film has suffered, otherwise, Chain Aye Na was a box office success in the US and Canada. I have collected all the stones that hit me and my film. And as they say, the foundation laid with stones is much stronger.”

As though blaming Pakistani media, cinemas, journalists and filmmakers wasn’t enough, he went on to blame that bloggers were Indian propaganda:

 “I don’t know why they do this. I think it’s an Indian agenda to hurt the Pakistani film industry. Our cinema is just once again growing and they don’t want to see this happen.”

We are baffled than ever as to why would Syed Noor call his own nation debating for a better cinema, an Indian conspiracy. We are sorry but it is just plain ethic less.

We provided her with complete treatment and took her to the USA, where the cancer was removed through surgery. Social media users are refuting Syed Noor’s statements about Rukhsana Noor’s cause of death. Many are claiming that she died from the grief and depression caused by Syed Noor’s infidelity. Social media users believe that Syed Noor neglected his first wife, which ultimately led to her death. A social media user wrote, “I don’t want to comment that a woman died out of depression”. Another social media user wrote, “What would happen to a woman who read the news of her husband’s second marriage in a newspaper?”. Syed Noor is the most senior film director in Pakistan. He has written around 250 films and has directed even more. He started his career from black and white films and went on to do colour and is still working in the industry. His latest film Tere Bajray Di Rakhi will release this Eid.

Syed Noor has seen the golden era of the film industry and has been through the complete downfall too. Noman Ijaz hosted Syed Noor on his show G Sarkar where he asked him reasons behind downfall of film industry. Syed Noor said that all industries went through that phase as it was inevitable. But Pakistani film industry never came out of it as we did not work on bringing new technologies or modernizing. There were old cameras, lack of modern labs and no support at all to the producers.

I didn’t mind him talking against me but I think it was the host, who has personal issues with me. Ahmed Saab has some personal problems with me. He deliberately knit his discussion around me and asks questions that revolve around me. He should do a podcast with me, I will reply to all his questions. The Lollywood power couple star director Syed Noor and wife Saima have always been strong. They have gone through rumours about their marriage many times but they never pay attention to them. This time around the social media was blazing with news of them separating. It hurt the feelings of both of them and they decided to address those nasty rumours. In a video, Saima and Noor Sahab clarified that they are very much together and they will not tolerate people saying stuff about their relationship to get some views. Syed Noor is coming up with a new film and he has finally confirmed Shabnam and Nadeem Baig as the cast members in Aina 2.

Nadeem talked about his plans for the film with Dawn Images:

“Shabnam Sahiba is back and we welcome her. I met her a few times, when I was on shoots in Karachi, we also met at Nadeem Sab’s home. We all ended up discussing Aina 2 there. We got an old producer friend on board. We felt that this must happen and I want to make it with Shabnam Sahiba and Nadeem Sab.”

The experienced director aims to bring this film forward with a different angle as he said:

“The film shows a later stage in life and we’re hoping to incorporate some flashbacks and introduce new actors.”

Syed Noor also hopes that this film leaves a positive impact on the Pakistani film industry as he said:

“We want to bring back dignified films to the Pakistan film industry so that our new generations can learn from it all. Maybe we’ll be able to bring new and improved entertainment to Pakistan.”
