Mahira Khan is the first Pakistani actress whose movie in Bollywood joined the hundred crore club. She starred opposite Shahrukh Khan in Raees. Later that year, Mahira Khan did a rap song on stage at the Lux Style Awards alongside Osman Khalid Butt. A line from that rap was “Kya aapki filmein bhi hain 100 crore kamatein?” which she had to sing due to the demands of the show’s script. Saba Qamar was the actress who boycotted the same LSAs for their prejudice and consequently, jokes were made on her boycott. So, Saba Qamar’s Hindi Medium has surpassed the business of Raees worldwide and Saba had the answer to Mahira’s question finally. Saba took to her Instagram and shared a screenshot of express tribune reporting that her film has surpassed Raees and she had a take on it in the caption:

And Saba has finally answered! She does not like insulting jokes and she respects her co-stars too!

Saba Qamar is the beautiful and talented star of the industry who has always impressed with her supernatural acting skills. Ali Ansari who is loved by the audience will also be joining the cast in a pivotal role. This will be a big pairing and it will bring back Saba Qamar and Ali Ansari to Hum TV.

The film stars big stalwarts including Saba Qamar, Sania Saeed, Nimra Bucha, Adeel Afzal and Hamza. Sarmad Sultan Khoosat’s last film Zindagi Tamasha has not released yet and he is all set to field his next. The teaser looks intense and performances and screenplay hard-hitting. Check out the trailer below:

People are finding the trailer to be quite unique. Check out some reactions:

One artifact that Pakistanies are best at is trolling and making people hate themselves. Pulling the leg of others who are climbing high out of jealousy is a common thing.

Same incident took place when Asim Azhar gave a sneak peak of his upcoming song featuring Areeka Haq who is a famous tik toker.

People bashed Areeqa Haq as much as they could that too in the times when everyone is talking about mental health issue.

Asim Azhar stood in favor of Areeqa Haq and took twitter to educate the people who talk about depression but in reality have nothing to do about the feelings of others.

Kamaal hai waise… pehle depression aur mental health pe lectures dete hain aur kuch din baad khud kisi ko depression ka shikaar bana dete hain apni bullying aur nafrat se. 😂👏🏽

— Asim Azhar (@AsimAzharr) June 26, 2020

Areeqa Haq also talked about the behavior of public towards her.

Saba Qamar also stood by Areeqa haq.

She advised her to be strong and come up as a more stronger person. Saba has also requested the people to be kind and to support each other.

Saba Qamar is a superstar of Pakistan and she just raised her voice against child marriages as UNICEF’s Ambassador. She is a star who can bring views to YouTube and footfalls into the cinemas. Saba is a star who always shines wherever she goes and how she is using her platform to speak about the rights of children and working alongside UNICEF to bring opportunities for underprivileged kids.

Saba spoke about how important it is for prominent celebrities to raise voices against social issues. She said that people listen to stars and talk about them. They have platforms to speak to the public and they should not just entertain people but also speak about important social issues.

This is what Saba Qamar said about the importance of raising a voice:

Saba Qamar about Child Marriage

Saba Qamar also spoke about child marriages and shared that she saw many young girls being married off. They then go through pregnancies while they are not even fully developed themselves. This is something we need to address and come together as a nation to change these customs.

Listen to this:

The green passport as we all know isn’t much respected around the world. Islamophobia aside Pakistanophobia is a league of it’s own, all Muslims have to go through humiliatingly thorough checking at airports every time they are traveling overseas that checking becomes even more humiliating if you carry a Pakistani passport because well all Pakistanis are terrorists as we know.

When it comes to interrogations at airports even celebrities aren’t immune to it, from Pakistani British actor Riz Ahmed to Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan everyone has and still goes through the process every time they travel because they are Muslims. Shah Rukh Khan often jokes about these experiences by saying,

I mean the guy is so sick and tired of the Islamophobia that he made an entire freaking movie on the topic and named it ‘My Name Is Khan’. After mega stars like Riz and Shah Rukh the latest addition to the list of celebrities, who talked about their humiliating experiences at airports, is our very own Saba Qamar.

Saba Qamar was recently on a TV show when she broke into tears while narrating her story of being detained and interrogated only because she was carrying a Pakistani passport.

The Hindi Medium starlet expressed her concerns and said,

“The way we are checked… I can’t tell you. I feel so humiliated when they check each and everything,”

She continued,

“I remember for a shooting I went to Tbilisi. All the Indian crew members with me were allowed to go. But I was stopped. My passport had stopped me. I was fully investigated, and then an interview was held after which I was allowed to go.”

She further added,

“That day I realised this is the respect we get. This is our position. Where do we stand?”

When celebrities of her stature and the likes of Riz and King Khan have to be detained for further checking at airports we can only imagine what goes on with the commoners and the sad part is things are not and will not be getting any better any time soon, if anything it will only get worse.

Saba Qamar gave an insight into the intense teaser of Pamaal. Saba also requested all the women to watch Malika’s story in Pamaal to see her silent smiles and pain. She wrote, “A lot of you saw the teaser of Pamaal and thought it’s just another love story — but trust me, it’s not. This isn’t about a typical girl-meets-boy fairytale; this is about every woman who lost herself trying to keep others happy. Malika’s story is raw, real, and painfully close to what so many women go through every single day. This isn’t fiction — it’s reality. These women exist in our society, in our homes, behind silent smiles. I’m 100% sure that 99% of women will see a part of themselves in Malika — in her silence, her strength, and in the storm she faces. I want every woman to watch Pamaal — not just to connect with the story, but to reflect, to heal, and to remember who they are. This is more than just a drama… this is a mirror.” Read the post:

By this, I mean such type of man came into my life who used to lie and say sorry afterwards. For me, marriage and commitment was the same thing, and due to this, I wasted eight years of my life. I used to think he will change but he didn’t and he made me crazy.”

“After spending eight years with me, he said he had to marry a girl from his own family. He broke engagement of that girl and got married to her. He was daring enough to call me and tell me all this. The story doesn’t end here, for the society he got married to a  girl from his family but I was in his mind and heart all the time. One day, while talking to his wife he took my name mistakenly and still he has to listen to taunts from his wife,” Qamar added.

Saba Qamar is the epitome of beauty and grace. With her continuous hard work, she has established herself as one of the most successful actresses of the industry. She has amazed the audience across the border with her brilliant performance in Bollywood film ‘Hindi Medium’ alongside Irrfan Khan.

The Baaghi actress is truly a warrior who never cares about what people are going to say. She often posts super amazing pictures on her Instagram due to which she is often shamed by the haters. People criticize her for wearing revealing outfits but she never cares about the hateful comments.

Saba Qamar’s recent pictures in black jeans and white top paired with a gorgeous pearl necklace are beautiful. Her minimal style is giving her glamourous look without putting many efforts.

However, people are not happy with the pictures and they called her out for sitting in an inappropriate way and wearing a revealing outfit.

Here is what people are saying, check out!

Upcoming biopic of Qandeel Baloch starring Saba Qamar is the talk of the town these days. Qandeel as everyone knows was quiet a controversial person and she died in very unfortunate circumstances. Playing Qandeel is quiet a challenge and Saba really looks she is up for it:

Talking to mid-day she said:“I can do regular roles at any point in my career, but it’s good to do something my fans will remember me for.” She totally backed Qandeel baloch as she said she was exploited: “The perception was that Qandeel Baloch made inappropriate videos, but no one knows why she did it… She did it to earn money and support her family. She wasn’t educated, but dreamt of becoming famous. She didn’t have any other option to fulfill her dream apart from taking to social media. She tried to do regular jobs, but wherever she went, she was exploited.”

Saba further said people should also be blamed for making her viral: “If anyone, it’s the people who need to be blamed for making Qandeel a social media sensation. If no one had followed her, she would not have made what she did. It’s they who are responsible for her death.”

Saba also said she faced a lot of criticism when first look of the film was released:“When we released the poster, the abuses poured in. If they are expecting an entertaining show, they will be disappointed. We are going to showcase the difficulties she faced, not glorify her. Either this show manages to change the way our community thinks, or I die doing it.”

Baaghi looks promising. Best of luck to all people working in the telefilm.

Saba Qamar decided to do a Bollywood film after rejecting many scripts. When the offer to do a film alongside the famous actor Irfan Khan came along Saba Qamar decided she could not miss this chance. It is becoming very common for Pakistani celebrities to work in Indian films. Not everyone gets love and appreciation from home when they do that but it is considered the next big step.

Talking about her first Bollywood venture Saba Qamar revealed,

“It’s a situational comedy based on social issues. I play the character of a wife who is a wee bit dominating and is looked after very tenderly by her husband. The role of the latter will be essayed by Irfan Khan.”

The name of the film is still a mystery. While talking to Express Tribune Saba Qamar revealed the two most important reasons because of which she said yes to this project. She said,

“After I read the script, I realized it was a very interesting film, but most importantly, considering the fact that I will get to work with Irfan, who I think is a great actor to the core — I could not possibly say no to it.”

Pakistani actors are very often criticized by people for shooting bold scenes in Bollywood films. Saba Qamar made it clear that it was something she was very straight forward about.

She said,

“Any bold scenes are an absolute no for me. This has been decided long ago: I won’t be doing any bold scenes in the film, nor will I be told to do an item number. I have been doing bold scenes in Pakistani films but will not do any in Bollywood, whatsoever.”

Saba Qamar realizes she has a big responsibility on her shoulders so she says,

“I just need to show my acting skills through the film. I won’t allow people to talk behind me and say, ‘Yeh iss ne kia kiya?’ [What has she done?]. Besides, I will not be Saba Qamar there but an individual Pakistani, representing my country on Indian soil.”

Mawra Hocane also gave similar statements when she took up her first Bollywood project but when the film came out people were shocked to see the bold scenes. Saba Qamar is very excited about this new project. We wish her all the best.

Popular film and television actress Saba Qamar is now a days busy in the promotions and the premieres of her feature film “Kamli”. In the Karachi Premiere of the film, fans saw a beautiful bond and camaraderie between Saba Qamar and Mehwish Hayat. The two Pakistani actresses Mehwish Hayat and Saba Qamar were found endorsing and loving each other.

In her recent chit chat session with Galaxy Lollywood Saba Qamar told her fans about Mehwish Hayat’s unprecedented support for her.

Talking about Mehwish Hayat, Saba Qamar said, “I am thankful to Mehwish, I called her at 11th Hour and she just showed up on a short notice of 2 hours, previously, I was hearing a lot about Mehwish that she might be abroad but I thought that first I need to call her, it is so sweat of her that she came for me, and not only this, while coming out of the premiere, she was constantly supporting me, singing with me “Yeh Dosti”, what else you need from your leading lady and a co-star, Mehwish Hayat is sweet, Mehwish I Love You”. Here is the video link.

Saba Qamar is one of the most eligible bachelorettes of Pakistani entertainment industry. She has established herself as one of the biggest stars of Pakistan with many hit projects and characters while she has also proved her mettle internationally with projects like Hindi Medium and Mrs and Mr Shamim.

Saba is single and her fans often ask her about her marriage. Recently she was gifted a room full of flowers by someone named “Shanoo” and people were excited for her. She also revealed on a few shows that she in in love indeed and her Shanoo is not a Pakistani.
