Talking about actors who pretend to be young, Hina Bayat said, “there are actors who are of your age, and often play your son, start calling you “Appa”. Same happened to me, when an actor started calling me “Appa” and I said, ‘when did I become Appa?”. And when we asked him to show his ID card, he got puzzled. So! this happens a lot, why do you have to make people your relatives, just call them with their names”.

Saba Bukhari recently became a part of the limelight when she shared a post, throwing light on the darker sides of our media Industry. Saba Bukhari recently appeared in an interview with BBC in which she shared that how much positive response did she get on her post. She also shared that how senior artists demotivated her in the beginning.

“When you get work, artists create a lot of trouble too. I got to work with such legends that while sitting in front of me she said that people who have a few good looks join industry” said Saba Bukhari. She also shared that actors used to tell her to stop working.

Saawan is a Pakistani feature film by Farhan Alam, and tells the story of a disabled child, who has to overcome any obstacles and he does them all with grace, bravery and dignity. The movie is written and produced by Mashood Qadri.

The protagonist is played by Karam Hussain, who has portrayed a child disabled in physique but not in spirit. He is a true Baloch, who fights feudal lords, burglary and child napping, all despite his physical challenges.

The film was recently screened at the Madrid International Film Festival and bagged the prestigious award Best Foreign Feature Film.

It has also been selected at the Social World Film Festival, Italy, where it is nominated for Best Film, Best Director and special prize of the critics.

“Saawan” is set to release in August, 2017 in cinemas across Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and India under the banner of Kalakar Films.

Saawan is a film directed by Farhad Alam which was screened at Madrid International Film Festival, the film was not only screened but made Pakistan proud by winning the award for “Best Foreign Language Feature Film”. The film is produced by Mashood Qadri under his banner Kalakar films. The film stars Syed Karam Hussain; the main protagonist; Najeeba Faiz, Imran Aslam, Arif Bahalim, Saleem Mairaj and Tipu Yorguc among others. The news is Saawan will be released across Pakistan in about mid September.

The film is based on a true story where Karam plays a disabled child who fights against the stigmas prevailing in society including feudalism and child abduction and comes on top. With the movie winning such accolades internationally we are sure it will go on winning hearts across Pakistan upon its release.

Farhan Alam’s movie Saawan has made Pakistan proud in a lot award ceremonies around the world before its release locally. The  movie is the story of a physically challenged boy who manages to hold its own in a world of demons despite his physical handicap.

The film has just bagged two more awards in the Salento International Filmfare Awards, for the best film and the best soundtrack. The film is being distributed and marketed by Geofilms and produced by Masood Qadri under the banner of Kalakar Films.

Pakistani movie Saawan has been  making waves internationally before its release. Earlier, it had won “The Best Foreign Language Feature Film Award” in Madrid at The International Film Festival.

Saawan is written by Mashood Qadri, directed by Farhan Alam and tells the story of a disabled boy from remote areas who will be shown fighting against the society evils. He is faced by feudal lords, child abductors and natural calamities but his grit and resilience wins them all.

The movie will be releasing on the 15th of September and hopefully, will be having the same impact on audience in Pakistan that it had globally.
