Things got really out of hand last evening as some people in the crowd were not as decent as they should have been.

During the Love Guru promotions, the crowd got really out of hand and misbehaved with starlet Mahira Khan. Mahira was being pushed and ambushed. She tried to keep her cool but she was visibly uncomfortable with how the crowd behaved. Her guards then held her while Humayun Saeed also jumped in to protect her.

The fans of legendary musican and Qawal, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, will be astonished to know that some lost tape recordings captured just before his death were found in a storage in Oakland, California. The recordings are now owned by Australian-Pakistani singer-songwriter Mahmood Khan who worked with him in 1996.

When Nusrat was battling kidney disease, Mahmood Khan was working on his solo album and he wrote and develop songs for it. ‘The International News’ reports that one of the songs was recorded at music producer Rick Rubin’s house in Los Angeles and some of the sessions were taped at Iran’s mega star Morteza Barjesteh’s studio in Encino, California. Mahmood, being an expert of sound engineering had also installed a recording studio at the house which was rented for Nusrat’s stay in Los Angeles. His short trip also gained attention of Peter Gabriel and VH1.

The recordings which have been found are enough is number and are also in perfect condition to materialize in a new Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan album, a move being considered by Mahmood Khan. The auction value of recordings are over 5 million dollars.

The news is heartening for all fans of Nusrat Ali Khan around the globe who look forward to listen to some of his last recordings if materialized in an album in future.

“I’m playing a girl in an advertisement agency and one of my friends has gone for a project and the drama shows what he goes through.”

She also revealed details about Ali Noor’s role in Chinaar Ghaati, “Ali Noor is basically a feudal lord. He’s a very rich person and things get rocky between me and him,” she added.

Other names in the cast include Samiya Mumtaz, Tipu Shareef, Alyy Khan, Dino Ali and Shumail. She further said, “Irfan Khan is also in the drama.”

Anoushey also reveals about Samiya Mumtaz’s role, “She plays one of the supernatural characters and shes from the past. Actually, Irfan Khan plays another character from the past.”

After “Teefa in Trouble” partnered with Yash Raj Films for the international distribution of the film, the Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat starrer “Load Wedding” is the latest film to collaborate with an international film distribution company as Fimwala Picture’s official twitter handle tweeted yesterday that Load Wedding will be partnering with Zee Studios for the international release of the film.

This is a great news for both the Pakistani audience as well the Pakistan Entertainment industry that our films are being recognized and are slowly going global. Since the revival of Pakistani cinema in 2013, Lollywood has been releasing some quality films and the collaboration with International distribution companies is certainly a step forward in the right direction.
