A two-member Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) team filmed various Buddhist sites of Gandhara civilization, which they will air on South Korean official television .
Lee Heon and Miss Hong, Eun Hee, producers of the KBS, are going to the ancient sites on the invitation of Dr Esther Park, General Secretary, Gandhara Art and Culture Association (GACA).
Before coming to Taxila the KBS team also visited Lahore, Peshawar, Swabi, Swat and Gilgit and filmed various Buddhist sites.
“I have visited Sri Lanka, Thailand, China and Armenia to record various cultural sites but the potential and cultural diversity Pakistan harbours is unique and significant,” said Miss Hong while talking to Dawn.
“What has really captured me about Pakistan is the kindness of the people here; really they are generous and hospitable,” she added.
“Through her documentary she will now show peaceful, tolerant and hospitable face of Pakistan to the world especially to Buddhists across the globe,” she added.
Talking to this reporter Dr Esther Park said that Gandhara Art and Culture Association would organise an exhibition of Gandhara artifacts and sculptures in Korea in June.
She claimed that most of the Pakistanis might not be aware of the fact that South Koreans trace the roots of their Buddhist heritage to centers of Gandhara civilization located in Pakistan.
She said that through the exhibition the rich Buddhist archaeological treasure of Pakistan would be displayed in Korea.

She shared a video and wrote, “Bacteria Mask “RECIPE”! A very easy way to give yourself some semblance of protection (much better than some of the “almost transparent” masks I see people wearing out there)! I love you all, stay safe, be responsible and stay HOME!”
In her video message, she said, “I have observed on the internet that people were complaining that masks are available in a higher price and they are of poor quality.”
“It’s better if you make masks for yourself at home.”
She further added, “I am not saying that you should not buy N95 masks, those are the best masks for protection from germs, bacteria and viruses.”
Komal Rizvi said, “I am going to share a recipe of the mask which will give decent amount of protection.”

The news I just came across is that famous singer and actress, Komal Rizvi has recently published her cooking book with the title of “Rizvi’s Cooking” as she claims that she is too good with cooking. Keeping that in mind, team of famous reality cooking show Master Chef invited Komal to make a guest judge appearance but Komal rejected the offer because she dont want to be a “guest” judge after publishing her own book. There might be a chance that we will see Komal in some cooking show soon.. :)

Talking about her divorce, Komal Rizvi said, “Well, my Marriage was semi arranged, it’s a very serious and heavy topic for me, would you want to talk on it?, in our society, a girl is always told that you will have a fairytale wedding, your husband will care for you, and she tries 200% for her marriage to make work, the biggest mistake of society is that it doesn’t teach girl about that one line or limit which should not be crossed in any case, I wasn’t taught this, I was taught to abide by my husband and his parents, I was unaware of the other aspect to fight for your basic rights, it took me 4 years to understand this, I was being tortured, abused and manipulated by his minds games, he used to hit me in head with fry pan saying that I served him cold food, he was psychological games with me, obviously, he was mentally sick person who used to beat me, well, I can’t even hit an innocent animal, he used to hit me, I wasted my 3.6 years just because I was unaware, I am sad that I wasted my prime youth on him, I got married when I was 21 years old, I was in Oman with my husband. The Oman police didn’t help me because it was a domestic issue, they refused to help me, I was alone in Oman with a person who was beating me. He was physically abusive and never gave money, I was alone . such psychopaths want to control an empowered woman” . She said she never talked about it except for the time when Nida Yasir surprisingly asked her about it. Here is the link to the video:
She further gave the messages to the parents, she said, “I want to give advice to the younger generation on how to treat their babies, to men, why you ask about beating that can we beat from one or two fingers, why you ask this question?, it’s an old school thought. You should advise your kids to protect the girl, now it’s your duty to do extra love and care, I am not saying don’t fight but be wise”.
She also talked about moving on from breakup she said she’s very happy but back in divorce time she used to think that her life was over. She says that it’s not easy to get out of the trauma of divorce, for that you need a support system and realization that only the victim can help herself.
