“I’m no religious scholar. I’m just somebody who wants to learn the right way of life and I will try my best to do everything in my power to do that. I’m just somebody who wants to be guided on a path that makes Allah happy and not the path that makes him upset at me,” added Kubra further.

Earlier, in her interview Kubra had added that she did not want to be scared to look her Creator in the eye on her deathbed. Kubra Khan is currently impressing her audience as Husn e Jahan in Alif. Before Alif, Khan had made headlines with her big film, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 last year starring opposite Humayun Saeed and matching him step for step in scenes that the two had together.

Kubra Khan, as it seems, had it relatively easy, when it came to making her way into the industry. Recently, Khan, shared how she bagged her first film when Nabeel Qureshi reached her on Facebook and she brushed it off being a prank. However, once she did Na Maloom Afraad, it was all easy and smooth for Khan in the industry, but it seems while her film and television career was smooth, she didn’t have it easy making friends.

Talking about how people treated her initially in the industry, Kubra Khan, shared, “People thought I had come from London to eat up their work.” Stating her experience about how she had met not many welcoming people, Kubra Khan added,”People commented on my face, my height and the fact that I didn’t know how to speak proper Urdu.”

Kubra shared that she had to practise a lot to improve her Urdu accent, which people heavily criticized. Although she debuted into the industry through films, Kubra earned a name for herself working in back to back hit drama serials including Sang E Mar Mar, Khuda Aur Mohabbat 2, Muqabil, Alif Allah aur Insaan and now Alif, as her most recent drama serial.

The very talented and gorgeous actress of Pakistan Kubra Khan recently appeared in an interview with “Gloss Etc By Maliha Rehman”.

Kubra Khan while opening up about her personal struggles mentioned that “Over time personal stuff has actually helped me enhance my understanding of characters and acting overall. I’ve started understanding characters now better that when I’m reading it I just empathize with it so much that it kind of talk to the emotions.”

“I took a break for three years because I was confused that rather I want to continue acting or not because I was looking for peace. Later I came to a conclusion that it’s not about my line of work but how I deal with it matters. After taking a break I realized that I don’t think it’s a profession but it’s what I choose to do with it”, added Kubra.

Kubra Khan is one of the top-notch actresses of Pakistan. Kubra Khan recently during an interview shared how she got body shammed. Also, she talked about her cancer scare.

Kubra Khan shared that she went back to her home in London, and had a checkup. The Doctors shared the concern that she might have cancer. Kubra said that she had to undergo surgery two times. Kubra shared that by the blessing of Allah the lump wasn’t malignant because she went to the doctor on time, otherwise it would’ve turned into a tumor. Kubra shared that after undergoing surgeries she gained some weight and everyone started making fun of her because of the weight she gained. Kubra added that no one knew what she had been through in the battle she won, people were only interested in humiliating her because of her weight.

Kubra Khan is one of the most loved actresses on television. She is very specific about the characters she picks and she is a successful star both in television and in films. Kubra Khan just wowed everyone with her drama Jannat Se Aagay and now she will be appearing in Noor Jehan very soon. Kubra is beautiful, intelligent and she always inspires her fans.

Kubra Khan is very spiritual in real life and that is something she has always expressed, even after she did Alif. She likes to keep her religious side private and never shares her prayers or her Umrah trip or her journey through Aitekaaf too much on social media. Talking to Maliha Rehman, Kubra Khan opened up about the importance of prayers and how she credits Allah SWT for always choosing the best projects and for all the love she has gotten from the audience.

Here is what she shared:

Kubra also talked about how actors are judged to always be non-religious. She said that people think if you are an actor, you will be far away from religion and she understands how people are. She shared that when she came back from Umrah, a person from the same industry said “kaise kaise log Umrah par jaa rahe hain”. This shocked Kubra as this lady is also from the industry. Kubra added that people do not know what is in someone’s heart but judge them due to pre-conceived notions about showbiz.

This is what Kubra said:

The rishta culture is a phenomenon that exists in the sub-continent in a very unique way and people always have surprising stories to tell about the rishtas they get. Actresses are no different and they are always getting approached by people for marriage as they see them on television and like them. From the PTV days when people used to send letters as rishta offers, now we have entered the digital age and Kubra Khan also got approached for a very unconventional rishta.

Kubra shared the incident as she was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai. She said that she was approached for a rishta on Whatsapp and the person was adamant that he wants to marry Kubra.

She revealed that the person’s family was all over her phone and she was getting messages from his mother and aunts and elders just so that she marries that guy. Kubra kept blocking ever number till they stopped sending her the Whatsapp rishta.
