In the end, leave these physical affairs — leave them for the sake of Allah and you will see how your marriage will flourish.”
Talking about his controversial statement regarding Hijab, he said, “Regarding Hijab, I agree with Javed Ahmed Ghamdi. Recently, people misquoted me, saying I spoke against the Quran. I quoted Ghamdi Sahib, who said: ‘In the Quran, there are three instances where women’s clothing is discussed. On two occasions in Surah Al-Ahzab, there are no permanent commandments regarding Hijab. There was one occasion when a command was given concerning the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.W.), as they were being harassed and slandered by the disbelievers. Because of that, Allah sent a message specifically for the Prophet’s wives, instructing them to speak strictly with non-mahrams, to remain covered and dignified, and they were not allowed to remarry. Later, this command was extended to all Muslim women because Kufars started mistreating Muslim women. Then Allah said, ‘O Prophet, tell your wives and the believing women to draw their shawls (chaddar) over themselves.’ These were exceptional circumstances where Parda was commanded. In Surah An-Noor, Allah gave a permanent command in which He instructed both Muslim men and women to lower their gaze, guard their modesty, and not display their beauty publicly, but to cover their chests.’”

This video was a message for the Pakistani Cricket Team (due to play today with England in the first semi-final of the ICC World Champions Trophy) in accordance with recent internet trolling, where users ridiculed the green players like Captain Sarfraz, for being unable to speak fluent English at the press conferences while addressing the crowd of journalists and reporters.
The 32-year-old actor stressed that it’s high time for the people of Pakistan to ‘get out of this colonial slave mindset’ and stop judging people by whether or not they were proficient in spoken English.
He said that a cricketer’s job is not to be adept at any sort of language but only to be skilled at his game; hence if the people should have to criticize anything, they should keep it limited to the team’s performance on the ground and that was it.
He also motivated the cricket team to not be discouraged in any sort of way or feel embarrassed by this situation and advised them to keep a translator for the future who could translate their sentences to the press as they answer the questions in Urdu, which is after all, Pakistan’s national as well as first language for the majority of the citizens that dwell here.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has always been known for his bold stance but this time while hosting the Ramazan transmission on Aaj TV, he discussed some topics which are considered controversial in Pakistan and as a result PEMRA has banned him from hosting Ramazan transmission. At the same time host Shabbir Abu Talib from TVOne has also been barred from hosting the transmission because his speech was provocative.
PEMRA reported that it had received as many as 1,133 complaints through Whatsapp, Twitter and telephone calls regarding the transmissions. PEMRA notice also said that during these shows no one was talking about anything productive but most of these shows are running after ratings.
The notice also mentioned that all the TV channels had been warned before hand to refrain from non serious and controversial topics during these transmissions but some people have not been abiding by this rule.
The Pemra notification also said that if Hamza Ali Abbasi, Shabbir Abu Talib and Maulana Kokab Noorani appear on any channel at all and are seen discussing this particular controversial issue or any other such topic, then that program will also be banned.
All these people have been asked to appear before the Complaints Council Karachi and record their statements on June 20 to give their statements.
Most people are supporting Hamza Ali Abbasi and are not happy with PEMRA’s step.

In a recent interview with HSY, the JPNA star Hamza Ali Abbasi opened up about rejecting JPNA 2 and also slammed the rumours which stated that he left the film due to an ongoing rift between him and Humayun Saeed.

“It was a mutual decision, we’re all friends and there are no issues between myself and Humayun!”
