The drama serial “Chupke Chupke” is all set to hit our television screen this Ramadan. Chupke Chupke has a stellar cast including Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt in the leading roles. Mira Sethi will also be seen in the drama. Two newbies Arsalan Naseer and Aymen Saleem are also making their acting debut with this drama. Arsalan Naseer is a Youtuber famously known for CBA. Aymen Saleem on the other hand is a beauty blogger and niece of late Nazia Hassan.

Chupke Chupke was supposed to air last year but the shooting couldn’t end last year because of the global pandemic. So after a year, the shooting has finally wrapped up and we will be seeing the entertaining play this Ramadan.

Na Maloom Afraad 2 is a much anticipated  sequel to 2014 Pakistani movie Na Maloom Afraad 2. It is written and directed by Nabeel Qureshi. The movie is all set to release on Eid ul Adha in September and the team has started the promotions.

The leading cast of the movie include Fahad Mustafa, Javed Sheikh, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Urwa Hoccane,Hania Amir and Marina Khan; who will make her film debut. They have released a short clip containing compilation of their behind the scenes showing their shooting and directions and all that they did in between.  It is fun to watch and makes one look forward to the movie.

With movies releasing back to back, Pakistani cinema really seems to have picked up pace in the last year and upcoming film Wajood has got us excited.

The movie stars Javed Sheikh himself along with Nadeem Baig, Shahid Hameed, Danish Taimoor, Frieha ALtaf, Ali Saleem, and Aditi Singh.

Directed by Jawed Sheikh, Wajood is being produced by Shahzad Sheikh and Momal Sheikh. The cast is currently in Antalya, Turkey finishing the second spell of the film.

The shooting of upcoming Pakistani musical romance film Rangreza is making waves all over social media. Rangreza stars Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Hocane, Saleem Mairaj and Akbar Subhani in the main cast. The shooting of upcoming drama Laikin has already begun. Laikin is directed by Furqan T. Siddiqui and written by Sarwat Nazir. The assistant director is Moiz Siddiqui anthe producer is IQbal Ansari. The drama stars Indian actor Sara Khan and Farhan Malhi in the lead role while Nasreen Qureshi, Atiqa Odho, Firdous Jamal will be seen playing pivotal roles. The drama is expected to go on air by late March or early April on APlus.

Already taking Bollywood by storm with her debut ‘Hindi Medium’, Saba Qamar is now all set to conquer the realms of television with the ground-breaking Urdu1 drama “Baaghi” based on the life of late Internet sensation Qandeel Baloch. The biopic is written by Shazia Khan, while the screenplay is penned by Umera Ahmed under the banner of Alif Kitab, it is being directed by Farooq Rind. The play stars Saba Qamar in the lead role, while Ali Kazmi, Sarmad Khoosat and Khalid Malik in titular roles. Baaghi is expected to air post-Eid-ul-Fitr.

Mahira Khan is on a roll these days! After her success in Bollywood, she’s all set to be seen in Bilal Lashari’s next and Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’. Verna is written, to be directed and produced by Shoaib Mansoor, under ShoMAN Productions. The film will be distributed by Hum Films.

Director Ahsan Rahim’s much anticipated cinematic debut Teefa In Trouble went on floors in February. The romantic action-comedy stars Ali Zafar as the lead character ‘Teefa’ and Maya Ali as his leading lady, ‘Anya’.

Wajahat Rauf, the man of many talents is all set to bring in something our way. He has paired up with Imran Abbas for his latest project ‘Yaar-e-Bewafa’ and it’s surely going to be a big deal. The drama Yaar-e-Bewafa features Imran Abbass, Sarah Khan and Areej Fatima in lead roles, while Samina Ahmed and Saleem Mairaaj will be playing supporting roles.

Directed by Nandita Das, Manto, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role is a biographical film based on the Urdu writer Saadat Hussain Manto.
