Armeena Rana Khan is criticizing celebrities who engage in ‘religious extremism’ to help their careers. Turning to her Twitter on Tuesday, Armeena mocked people in her industry who garner praises through their religious views. “Advancing acting careers using religious extremism seems to be quite the ‘in’ thing these days. Pakistan’s Legendary artist Umer Sharif has been laid to rest at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard in Karachi earlier today. Alot of famous artists and political personalities attended the funeral including the dignitaries of Sindh Government. Previously, his son Jawad Umer requested fans to join funeral but fans were already there at the venue in love of Umer Sharif.
His funeral was performed in Umer Sharif Park Clifton phase 2. Fans gathered in a huge number to pay homage to their favourite artist. There was a huge crowd gathered in the funeral, the security had to close all the entrances of the park to avoid more crowd. It was a huge crowd due to which police officials cleared the way for the ambulance carrying Umer Sharif’s body to head to the graveyard.

Kanwal Ahmed, the founder of women’s Facebook group Soul Sisters Pakistan, has been featured by Cartier at the Women’s Pavilion at Dubai’s Expo 2020. Dubbed as the “Pakistani Oprah”, Ahmed hosts and produces a digital talk show titled Conversations with Kanwal, which is centered around providing a safe space for women to tell their stories and is currently on its third season.
“I’m honoured to be representing my country on a platform that features some of the most inspiring women from across the globe,” wrote Ahmed on Instagram in a post thanking her fans and viewers.

Qassam Jaffri sent a mail to his wife Sanam to communicate with her as A lot of users were unable to send or receive messages on WhatsApp and Facebook. “Hello, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are down. I guess we have to communicate in the old school way. I just got to L.A! What’s going on? Where are you? I miss you” wrote Qassam in his mail. Sanam seems quite happy to see his husbands effort.
The media personality Mathira is known to be one of Pakistan’s most controversial figures. The scandalous TV show host recently became a victim of leaked explicit videos. Pakistani host and model Mathira has shown her displeasure over some videos circulating on social media as she termed them fake and edited.
Taking to Instagram stories, Mathira shared screenshots of a chat with someone. While the context of the conversation is not clear, Mathira added captions saying that some nude videos are being circulated on social media with her face. She asserts the videos are doctored with her face having been pasted on via face swapping or editing.
“A video circulating on internet have been edited. The other two videos are mine because I posted them publicly on Snapchat but a stupid and nude one is edited and not me. My body is tattooed everywhere and so are my fingers. Please stop this nonsense. Whoever edited this will be punished, InshAllah”, added Mathira. Moreover, she claimed to take legal action against it if need be.
Upcoming drama serial Sinf-e-Aahan is in the news for all the right reasons. A new addition in the cast of the star-studded production is Sri Lankan actress Yehali Tashiya, who will be essaying the role of a Sri Lankan cadet who has come to train in Pakistan alongside other female cadets.
It is not unusual for army officers from other countries to come to Pakistan and train with the Pakistan Army. What’s interesting is that this has been included as a plotline in Sinf-e-Aahan with the spotlight on a female international cadet, no less.
