“For a serial it’s my debut but I’ve worked on the screen prior to this in web-series Baarwan Khiladi. So technically it’s my second time on screen but at the same time my first as well,” says Danyal, opening up about the experience of working on the project. “Both are two completely different worlds.”
Speaking about the story, Danyal revealed how it’s about a boy who is a hardcore horoscope believer. “A boy who believes in stars comes across a girl who isn’t exactly a match for him based on their horoscope but he still goes for it and it’s this entire thing on how the girl has her own ambitions, and her life revolves around the marriage. How she stands up for herself and how that causes a shift in the family dynamics. So just comedy, romance, pain, etc,” he said.
He said he relates to his character quite a bit. “I related to the emotional capacity of the character a lot,” Danyal said. “The boy is emotional and a heartthrob — that’s how I am,” he added, exclaiming that the relationship with his mom depicted in the serial is very realistic.
Speaking of family, Danyal said he doesn’t feel the pressure of being related to someone famous and just focuses on his own work. “The best thing I do for myself is that I completely forget I’m anyone’s brother. I just look at myself as myself and step into the shoes of the character I have,” he said.
Directed by Saifee Hassan and produced under the banner of Momina Duraid Productions, the cast also includes Komal Rizvi, Javeria Abbasi, Amir Qureshi, Ismath and Hassan Noman. The serial will be aired in this upcoming Ramazan.
Renowned dramatist and novelist Haseena Moin passed away in Karachi early Friday morning. She was 79 years old. The renowned playwright had been battling cancer for the past few years. Her funeral will be held at her residence in North Nazimabad after Asar prayers.
Haseena Moin is perhaps one of the most celebrated playwrights and scriptwriters to come out of Pakistan and has several accolades under her belt. These include the Pride of Performance award from the government for her services to the performing arts in the country. She also holds the distinction of penning Pakistan’s first original script, Kiran Kahani, in the early 1970s. Her best tv dramas include Dhoop Kinary, Ankhai, Tanhaiyan, Ahat, Ansoo and many more.

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Wednesday briefed the media regrading updates on the closure of schools after an important meeting of education and health ministers at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). He said the educational institutions which were closed earlier due to high positivity rates, will remain shut till April 11.
Provincial governments and authorities in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are empowered to take the final decision in this regard, keeping the latest situation in mind, he added. The singer went on to say “Always love and respect your parents, family and those who were there for you in your times of trouble. I promise you, you will be rewarded in your time. The only reason for that not happening would be if and when you have any doubts in your mind. Never doubt. Learn to connect with the ONE who created you and creates all. Be creative and unleash the magic within you for you’re nothing short of a miracle only if you can see.”

Kubra Khan revealing about her hobby mentioned that “One of my hobby is knitting. I started knitting actually for fun but later I realized that when you are knitting it is so therapeutic because your whole focus is on knitting and you just block other things coming in your mind.”
“Whenever I travel somewhere I carry my PlayStation and wool along with me. I knit and keep it with me whether it’s a sweater or a scarf”, added Kubra Khan.
