The official anthem of Pakistan Super League 2021 ‘Groove Mera’ has been released.
The anthem expresses the love of HBL Pakistan Super League among the fans around the world.
The anthem also highlights the aftermath of the corona virus, where stadiums are empty but fans are seen watching matches in front of TV screens in their homes.
Pakistani folk, pop and hip hop singers have participated in the preparation of this anthem. Folk singer Naseebo Lal, pop singer Aima Baig and hip hop star Young Stunners have evoked the magic of their voices in the anthem.
The video of the anthem has been directed by Fida Moin while six well-known cricketers have also appeared in the official video of the anthem. Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, Wahab Riaz , Sarfaraz Ahmad have been featured in the PSL 2021 anthem.

“We always say that what are these models, but believe me it’s a huge responsibility on them. Right now I’m wearing a dress which is of 50kgs almost and I just had to wore it once but models are the ones who wear these dresses more than 5 times in a fashion week and they do a great job”, says Hira.
Hira further mentioned that “I appreciate all the Pakistani models out there. They deserve all this appreciation on how they manage everything so beautifully. When my heels twisted while walking on ramp I got scared that how will I manage but these models manage all these things on daily bases.”
This second last episode of Mushk was fast-paced, action-packed, and quite filmi. The good thing is that the drama is headed towards a happy ending and it is going to be one of those few dramas which end without unnecessary dragging. Whether this ending will be convincing or not is a completely different debate. I must say though that I feel a really strong connection with all the characters at this point since their journeys were covered in detail and quite impressively throughout therefore even though some of the developments tonight were somewhat laughable, it was definitely pleasing watching Mehak and Shayyan in the same frame. I honestly never thought that I would actually be rooting for these two because both of them were the weakest characters in the drama but after watching them suffer for so long, it was good to see them together. Dr. Rana, Zulekha, and Muqaddar Khan’s track ended in the previous episode which was an intelligent move by the writer since now the focus can be entirely on the leading couples. Roshni and Saqib’s track was also wrapped up tonight. Adam once again saved the day in more ways than one and this recent development made him realize more than ever how much Guddi meant to him. Muna also played a significant role in this episode.
The Reunion and Realizations
Tonight’s episode opened with Saqib and Roshni saying their final goodbyes or perhaps this would be a new beginning for them as well. Saqib apologized for betraying Roshni and she got a chance to stay everything that was weighing on her mind for the longest time. Sehar Khan’s performance in this scene was impressive and Raza Talish has always been convincing as a young boy who has a disturbing past. This reunion was not too pleasant but this could either be the closure Roshni needed or she might give Saqib another chance.
Chota Malik decided to enter into a nikkah with Guddi and it was good watching her take a stand the way a woman like her would. The way Adam saved the day was not the least bit convincing, it would have been so much better if these action scenes were executed more convincingly. All it took was a push for Chota Malik to be unconscious. This was an important development since had Guddi not been in such a condition; Adam wouldn’t have realized what she meant to him. This was a powerful start to the next phase of their relationship and for a second last episode. I am looking forward to their union. The place where Guddi was kept by the Chota Malik had the strangest wall, isn’t cow dung supposed to be outside and not inside and that on a board?! Imran Ashraf did talk about the limitations while shooting these last few scenes due to COVID therefore I am guessing that they had to make the most of the locations they had.
Apart from Guddi and Adam’s track, Mehak and Shayyan’s track for a change was the highlight of this episode. Momal Sheikh acted brilliantly tonight and the impactful dialogues added to the intensity of these scenes. Mehak wanted to believe Shayyan but she was also scared because she did not want to put herself in a situation again where she would end up with heartbreak. However, when Shayyan mentioned that Adam would testify for him since he knew everything that had happened to him, Mehak was instantly convinced. I liked how Muna was kept in the picture right till the end since he has always been so close to Mehak. His bond with Shahmir has also always been such an important part of this entire track. It did feel odd though that they managed to have this meeting inside the haveli since surely they must have guards and dada is completely missing in action. Even with all these questions popping in my mind while I was watching this scene, I was genuinely happy for Mehak and Shayyan.
Final Remarks
Mushk has stayed true to its main theme and it has always given me something to look forward to every week. Even though the preview of the next episode revealed the end of the Chota Malik entirely, Guddi and Adam’s track it seems will stay intriguing right till the end. I was looking forward to watching how Malik’s track will end but the preview did not leave a lot to wonder about! Guddi will go back to her mother and once again Adam will be going after her. I feel for Adam, he has been running after someone or the other for the longest time now, he deserves a happy ending more than anyone else. Even though this second last episode wasn’t too convincing, the fast pace and the reunions made it worthwhile.

On the second day of the 18th edition of bridal couture week ace fashion designer, Faiza Rehman has showcased her bridal collection “ Peony Dream”, for which Ayesha Omar, a beautiful and phenomenal actress of the entertainment industry has walked the show as a show stopper. Tonight’s episode of Raqs-e-Bismil was extremely emotional and it was directed beautifully as well. This latest episode had so many well-crafted and meaningful scenes that did not have any dialogues but they were extremely impactful. Tonight’s episode belonged to Imran Ashraf and Momin Saqib; Moosa and Esa’s relationship continues to be the most endearing element of the drama. Sakina’s growing bitterness and desire for revenge are not the least bit likable but it definitely adds to the emotional value of Moosa’s track. Zohra’s dialogues tonight about how she was done with being judged and felt that she also had the right to reject someone suggested that she in fact might be guilty of just as egoistic as Moosa once was. The writer Hashim Nadeem’s characters have so much depth; the director and the actors have definitely done justice to these characters by translating their emotional states in the aptest manner on screen. Moosa’s willingness to give up everything and Esa’s reluctance to accept this new position made their scenes an absolute treat to watch. There were also times when I felt as if Moosa’s punishment was more severe than Sakina’s because his father had more expectations from him.
The Punishment Continues
Moosa’s father continued to punish him in this episode too by taking his title away just like he said he would and later on by making him feel like he had lost the respect he had before, completely. This entire track was covered so convincingly and the director made sure that all the emotions were captured perfectly. Esa has always been shown as the younger brother who has utmost reverence for his older brother. Now that all of a sudden their positions have been switched, Esa is the one who is having the most difficult time accepting this change. Moosa has accepted his punishment and he tried his best to make Esa comfortable in this new position. He took up the duties which his brother had previously, wholeheartedly because he knows that he has let his father down. Even when Sakina shared her feelings with him when he was snubbed by his father yet again, Moosa reacted in a way that could have given Sakina a reason to reconsider her actions but her bitterness is such that she will not be moving on anytime soon. She feels that it is only the beginning of his punishment and everything he is going through is nothing compared to what he did to her. I was expecting Moosa to apologize to Sakina but he did not do that. The scene covering the change of heir was the best scene tonight since all the emotions were captured brilliantly.
Sitara’s father’s concerns were also an important development in this episode. Through his character, the writer showed how this change of decision was being questioned for obvious reasons. He also noticed that Moosa was not the same person anymore and he had clearly lost his position. Esa’s conversation with Moosa also showed that people were curious to know the reason behind this change of heart. Through this conversation, the writer also communicated Moosa’s state of mind to the viewers. He is on a completely different path now and his sole purpose in life is to win Zohra over, nothing else matters to him. When Moosa’s father asked him to help Esa wear his shoes, Momin Saqib’s expressions were simply amazing! Mehmood Aslam also deserves tons of credit for translating the rigid side of his character superbly on screen.
Zohra’s Track
Zohra’s scenes tonight were quite interesting because they kept the viewers guessing. She definitely feels something for Moosa since she was thinking about him in the first scene but she is not willing to accept it just yet. Her conversation with her sister showed that she wanted to prove to Moosa that she was not going to be pushed into a relationship. She also particularly dislikes people who judge women like her and regardless of what she does, she does not have low self-esteem. We also found out tonight that Zohra is going to a reputable university and that she is the golden child. Zohra found out through Murad that Moosa had lost his title and his father had disowned him. Her reaction however was quite different from what I was anticipating it to be. The way she interpreted this entire development was actually refreshing! Zohra has a certain sense of pride; this is perhaps her way of exercising some degree of control.
We also got to know more about Kamran’s character tonight. He is married but is more than willing to mingle with other women. This was one of the best episodes of a drama that continues to impress. Tonight’s episode was brilliantly written and executed throughout. The preview of the next episode was even more interesting since Moosa’s mother will actually be going to Zohra’s with the proposal! The performances were outstanding like every week. It is rarely ever that all the actors perform as superbly as they have in this drama, that definitely adds to its appeal. This was also another visually appealing episode of Raqs-e-Bismil with impressive camerawork and amazing picture quality.
