Rishi also gave a press statement saying that he is absolutely fine and it is only the pollution of the city that is the reason of his illness.
As per the authentic reports, he is again admitted in the hospital and this time, it is really serious. He family is pretty much concerned about him as his unacceptability to his disease is hindering his treatment. One of the sources near to his family said:
“He’s just being stubborn. This is adding to the family’s growing anxiety. Before a treatment procedural is decided on, he must accept that he’s unwell. Unfortunately, like the first time when the disease struck, he is not willing to accept the truth.”

Zahid Ahmed will be sharing the screen with the gorgeously talented and prominent Saba Qamar. Zahid signed his first film, Sorry – The Love Story, but the film is still on hold. The shooting of the film will start at the end of February in Karachi. “If I were to look at the story and the character on offer with the same lens that I use to judge offers on television, I would have probably said no to this film because this is out and out commercial, comedy entertainer,” Zahid admits. “But the decision to ultimately do this was also because of the same reasons – a good entertainer with a good level of comedy that strays away from slapstick, goofy and crassness. Having a co-star like the amazing Saba Qamar, a good writer, strong director, and a holistically well-known production were some of the other reasons that drew me towards this project. This is me finally putting myself out there, stepping into the arena with a very safe bet.”

I was expecting this second episode of Ishqiya to be fast paced but it focused entirely on Siddiqui sahab’s medical condition. Hania Aamir and Shabbir Jan’s performances stood out in this particular episode. Ramsha Khan’s character and performance reminds me of the role she played in Kesa Hei Naseeban. Feroze Khan too is giving Mir Haadi vibes, the shouting and the background is similar too. Having said that both these actors are doing justice to their respective characters. The excessive use of background score and the way some of the scenes were edited disrupted the flow of the story. The overall feel of this second episode was filmi, just like the first episode but tonight’s episode was slightly less engaging than the first one.
Latest Developments
Tonight’s episode of Ishqiya opened with Romi finding out that her father was fighting a disease which might be life threatening. This first scene pretty much laid down the foundations for what was coming ahead. Siddiqui sahab’s relationship with his daughters was well established in the first episode and in this episode the viewers got to see a little more of the kind of love they share. Siddiqui sahab is an over-protective yet caring father and even with all the love there is a communication gap between the daughters and their father. They go out for dinners, enjoy their time together, Siddiqui sahab even does not have a problem apologizing when he feels he has done something wrong but there are certain boundaries, some principles, which do not allow Hamna to tell her father that she is in love. This situation is different from the one we usually see in such scenarios but at the same time it is slightly frustrating to watch Hamna’s helplessness and unhappiness. Shabbir Jan has definitely done a great job bringing out the gentle and loving side of his character but you can’t help blaming him for not having enough faith in his daughters to choose their life partners. He is convinced that he can make the best decisions for them and he does not want to be told otherwise.
I must say that I felt for Hamna because she has a man in her life who could have given her all the happiness and love in the world but she has to get married to someone she does not even know! Romi on the other hand has no love interest therefore her life is perfect. She does not have to face the situation her sister is facing but at the same time it is difficult to understand why she cannot tell that Hamna is not happy about this proposal. Everything happened too quickly and the proposal was finalized before Hamna could muster up the courage to talk to Hamza. Every time she thought about picking up the phone and calling him, she was reminded of his possessiveness and that is when she stopped herself from sharing the details with Hamza. Tonight’s episode covered almost two days and there were definitely some continuity issues as well. Siddiqui sahab’s clothes changed by the time he got back from the office.
Hamza’s scenes yet again showed his mad love, his ishq for Hamna. His father’s scenes yet again revolved around his cool and calm nature. The father’s scenes could easily have been chopped down since the story could then have moved forward to bring Azeem in the picture. Hamza’s mother trying to marry him off to a girl he does not like has been-there-seen-that written all over it! Seemi Pasha has played so many such characters in the recent past. It is like watching her play the same character as the one she played in Mera Rab Waris all over again!
Final Remarks
After watching the first episode, I was hoping that the first few episodes would be fast paced but there was a lot of repetition in this episode. The story should have been taken forward with this second episode. The preview of the next episode showed Hamna and Azeem’s meeting – it should have been shown in this episode, in my opinion. Also, looks like Hamza will soon find out the truth. Honestly speaking after watching Hamza’s junooni ishq, I have a bad feeling that we might see Mir Hadi all over again, I really hope that I am wrong. Hoping to see situations which are not too extreme and definitely don’t want to see excessive rona dhona in the upcoming episodes.

Tonight’s episode of Ehd-e-Wafa was extremely emotional and simply beautiful in every way. This was the kind of episode which makes your cry and laugh at the same time. The director Saife Hassan did complete justice to all the beautiful, moving scenes. The actors too did a commendable job of translating these priceless emotions on screen. Ehd-e-Wafa gets more emotional and impactful with every passing episode. Last week after the episode went on air there were so many twitter users who criticized the writer for suggesting that politicians can influence the people who selected higher ranking officers after candidates pass the CSS exams. It seriously infuriates me how ill-informed such tweets are since it was made quite clear in the previous two episodes that Shahzain was lying and he had nothing to do with Shehryar’s selection. People of course are free to discuss the bureaucracy and politics whichever way they want but why do it with #Ehd-e-Wafa when the writer is not implying anything like that! I feel that there are so many people nowadays who rely on social media when it comes to figuring out what a drama stands for or is conveying. My request to all such people is to at least watch the entire drama before drawing conclusions!
Most Emotional Opening Scenes
Tonight’s episode of Ehd-e-Wafa had the most emotional opening scenes which were yet again filled with positive and impactful messages. Saad’s parents conversation about his wedding was truly refreshing. After watching so many dramas which revolve around yeh shadi nahi ho sakti scenarios, Ehd-e-Wafa is truly a treat to watch in which the consent of the parents is the least of the children’s worries! It is truly amazing how the parents and children in this drama have been shown as partners. This partnership is the reason why Dua and Saad were able to focus on their education and their careers. They knew that their parents will support them whenever they decided to get married.
Saad’s mother’s constant support and her wise approach towards everything had been shown through a few scenes in the past few weeks and tonight we also saw his father being really cool about the whole thing! This was such a good way of showing that there was nothing wrong with children wanting to get married out of their own choice. Dua’s mother’s attitude was the same too. The open-minded and wise approach of the parents is definitely something we need to see in dramas more often. I absolutely loved how this entire track has been covered throughout. While the writer has quite a few inspiring scenarios for the young people in this drama, at the same time there are a few tips for the parents too! Saad and his father’s scenes were acted out so well by both these actors. It is almost as if they are actually related, their performances and the chemistry these two share has been simply remarkable.
Shehryar and Firdous sahab’s scene was extremely emotional as well. The way Shehryar took Firdous sahab to his office and made him sit on his seat was such a nice gesture to show just how much he valued and respected him. The writer intelligently added Firdous sahab in this present scenario since the viewers already had emotional attachment with him and his son. Later on, everything was covered realistically because surely it wasn’t going to be easy for Shehryar to deal with a land mafia which was well connected. In this way the writer Mustafa Afridi yet again highlighted another corrupt element of the system. Ahmed Ali Akbar and Khalifa Shajeer Uddin’s performances in these scenes were absolutely brilliant. Ahmed Ali Akbar is such a phenomenal actor, I am eagerly waiting to see more of him.
Saad and Dua
The way Saad and Dua’s track was taken forward was yet another impactful and emotional element of this episode. Saad and Dua clearly are partners as well. Alizeh Shah and Ahad Raza Mir looked great together in this episode and their love story is my favorite at the moment. It is the perfect example of a healthy relationship and how partners should support each other. At the same time, they have fun with one another and there is enough romance to make it cute and entertaining. Their scenes are not too plain or too cheesy. Dua’s dialogues about how Saad’s family made her feel were so easy to connect to because the viewers got to see just how welcoming they all were. Saad’s father opened the car door for Dua which was such a wonderful way of welcoming her. Saad’s parents acceptance of Dua and Saad’s support for her was the best part of this track tonight. Dua’s comment about the ring size and the other candid conversations were truly delightful to watch. Few weeks back I couldn’t even have imagined that I would find their scenes together so sweet and heart-warming.
Saad and Shahzain
Saad and Shahzain’s scene tonight showed just how far Saad had come. All this time we had all been waiting for Saad to be the leader, the bigger person with Shahzain which he had been with his peers in the PMA. Tonight, he did just that. Even Shahzain seemed like a vulnerable individual who was in need of love and attention. Their conversation was written really well and I am honestly relieved that these two are finally back to being friends after so many years.
Final Remarks
The timeline in this drama can be confusing at times but other than that Ehd-e-Wafa has taken off for sure. Tonight’s episode was a complete package, it was emotional, entertaining and well paced. It was written and directed exceptionally well. Ahad Raza Mir and Ahmed Ali Akbar are remarkably brilliant actors who never cease to impress. They are both so good at translating varying emotions impeccably on screen. Aadi Khan was cute as the over-smart Malik Shahzaib. I hope that Firdous sahab’s track will be handled well in the upcoming episode. The preview of the next episode showed that all these friends will finally get together on Saad’s wedding and it seems like Dua’s inclusion in the armed forces will perhaps be a surprise for Saad. Really looking forward to the next episode of Ehd-e-Wafa already.

Apart from debating, singing was also Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s strength. He used to sing just as much as he used to take part in debates back in his college days. According to him, he was so interested in polishing his singing skills and was so keen in the field that his parents were constantly scared that he might end up pursuing it as a career. Since there was great pressure from the family that he should not even think on those lines therefore perhaps that was never an option for him. Otherwise, there was a chance that perhaps he could also be a singer.
How He Met His First Wife
Iqrar-ul-Hassan was a student of 4th year when he met his first wife Qurat-ul-Ain Hassan. Iqrar was asked by one of the private schools in Lahore to coach their debating team when he was a student in Government College, Lahore. When he went to coach the team there he met Qurat-ul-Ain who was at that time teaching in that school. These two did not even talk for weeks after they met for the first time but gradually they started chatting and then when Iqrar used to go to coach the students, they got a chance to spend more time with each other.
Iqrar and Qurat-ul-Ain both had great interest in Urdu literature therefore initially their conversations centered around Meer Taqi Meer and other leading Urdu poets. This was the common area of interest. In the beginning Iqrar respected Qurat-ul-Ain more than anything else because she was a teacher and he was only a student. At that time, Iqrar did not even believe in falling in love. His definition of love changed when he fell in love with Qurat-ul-Ain and they got married.
6 Months of Hard Work at PTV
Iqrar was a student when he applied in PTV for the post of a newscaster. For 6 months every day he had to sit for hours and practice how to read the news. He was accompanied by other experienced newscasters who sometimes guided him and at other times, he simply sat there and practiced without anyone even paying attention. He was not paid for this at all. There were many people who questioned him and wondered why he was putting himself through this ordeal. Iqrar wanted to do whatever he could to get his big break and therefore he persisted. Eventually he got a job as a newscaster at PTV after 6 months. Even then, the first time he was to go on air, he was so scared that he wanted to run away. Iqrar believes that all the training at PTV helped him later on with his career. He only used to get paid 250 rupees for reading one bulletin in PTV which was not enough but he thought he needed to start from somewhere.
Joining ARY
Iqrar joined ARY when they asked young people to audition if they thought they had what it took to take up the job of being a newscaster. Out of 1000s of people who applied, only 2 were chosen from Lahore and Iqrar was one of them. At the same time, the auditions were being held in Karachi and that is when Waseem Badami was among the candidates who were chosen for the job. That is when Iqrar’s career took off and he instantly got a job in Dubai which paid off well too.
He Always Wanted a Daughter
Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his wife always wanted a daughter. When his wife was expecting her first child, both of them had already decided what they were going to name their daughter since it was their wish that their first born should be a girl. However, when they found out that they were going to have a boy that is when they decided that they were going to name him Pehlaaj.
Believes In Equality Among Men and Women
Iqrar-ul-Hassan was raised in a household where boys and girls were treated equally. Iqrar’s sisters were never expected to serve him food or even iron his clothes. Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020 happened on 7 February at Coca Cola Arena, Dubai. The big names of Pakistan Media Industry showed up at the event. Pakistani International Screen Awards 2020 happened last night in Dubai. Many Pakistani celebrities were spotted at the red carpet and were really excited about the night full of fun and glamour. The ceremony aimed at honoring some of the most deserving Pakistani artists in the entertainment industry.
Along with celebrities, many fans were there to support their television heroes at the awards. Many of them gave a breathtaking performance on the stage and stole the limelight. Those who miss the awards night, here is a list of winners from last night:
Ohkay so, this was one of the best episodes of Alif. It was all about experiencing the emotions that Qalb e Momin & Momina Sultan were going through. This episode was more like a feeling, something that has to be just felt & absorbed. It was magical, it was beautiful, it was like this artistry & a beautiful painting that one just looks at completely mesmerized.
Momin & Momina’s Equation
Momina has moved on but it seems Faisal the opportunist is trying to rekindle her feelings for him. All of a sudden, Momina has made Faisal proud, another instance where Momina was forced to see Faisal’s true colors & yes, she did not waste any time in reminding herself about the things that she had heard from him back then. More than Faisal wanting to tell everything to Momina, it seemed he was actually trying to learn whether he still holds the same place in her heart or not. Momina’s cold response did send him a message loud & clear but the Faisal that we know is obviously going to come back & try harder.
The shooting of Alif began & Momina started seeing Qalb e Momin in a completely different light. Slowly & steadily, her perspective about Momin is changing & she is unable to figure out what is it that is drawing her closer to him. Momina is focusing on her project, but it is also a fact that she appreciates Momin’s presence. She notices how his eyes are locked on her. Momina knows that just the way she sees Husn e Jahan in herself, Momin was also seeing Husn e Jahan’s memories coming to life every time he looks at Momina.
Qalb e Momin was also unsure why he was unable to draw a difference between the fact that she was Momina & not Husn e Jahan. The bitterness that Momin & Momina had towards each other had subsided but now, they were growing comfortable with each other’s presence. Momin was going out of the way for Momina & she was liking the attention. Momin settled everything by apologizing, it went to show that he had changed & he actually regretted his past decisions. Momina has moved on, the fact that she gets to see the difference in Momin firsthand has also helped her a lot with her decisions. The dialogue where Momina stated that she doesn’t live in the past seemed to be coming from the misery that she has seen her parents facing due to Jahangir’s death & not being able to come out of it. She has seen what living in the past does to you, maybe this is another lesson that Momina has learned from Jahangir’s death.
Momin would’ve never thought that all that Momina would settle for would be two white roses. Momina has also accepted Momin’s feelings but there’s a lot that’s left to be said. At this point, Momina feels sympathetic towards him because she knows the miserable life that Qalb e Momin has led as a child. This has allowed her to feel for him. Momin has no idea that he doesn’t need to carry a facade in front of her. She once again beautifully tried to ask him whether the boy in the script was Qalb e Momin, but he didn’t give it away. It was interesting to see Momina knowing about all the things Qalb e Momin was keeping from her!
Momina & Master Ibrahim’s conversation ended up being a turning point in Momina’s behavior towards Momin. She learned that she was being judgmental & probably harsh in her approach towards him, it allowed Momina to bring a shift in her perspective. Umera Ahmed should be given full credit for time & again shedding a light on the fact how people should be more focused on themselves rather than going around judging people for what they don’t know. Momina who sees Master Ibrahim as a practicing believer was shocked to see him admitting his mistakes & being afraid of judging someone else. This changed Momina’s thinking. Their conversation was absolutely sweet & all the scenes of Momin & Momina that followed were equally beautiful too.
Magical
This episode of Alif was more like a feeling. It was magical & I still have a smile on my face because it was absolutely sweet. The chemistry of Hamza Ali Abbasi & Sajal Aly was phenomenal. It was understated but still obvious. The way they looked at each other & smiled was absolutely sweet. Sajal Aly looked as beautiful as a dream in this episode in particular, no wonder why Qalb e Momin could not take his eyes off Momina. Hamza Ali Abbasi & Sajal Aly’s performances in this episode where so much had to be conveyed with just facial expressions were exceptional, they made it so easy to understand all that was running through Momin & Momina’s minds. It was a treat seeing their relationship evolve & grow. The preview did suggest some rough patch though which I am dreading but I am sure that’s going to add more depth in their equation. Haseeb Hassan has directed this drama like a dream. Every single frame, every camera angle beautifies the scenario & then the way he has captured the emotions of the characters, it is phenomenal. Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020 were held in Dubai last night. This was the very first time these award functions were conducted. It is unfortunate that they were surrounded by controversies where the organizers didn’t give up a proper protocol to a lot of celebrities who they committed to bring to UAE to make a part of the event. A lot of renowned celebrities accused the organizers of PISA 2020 for false advertisement. However, a lot of celebrities joined hands to make this function a success.
Award functions bring celebrities together where they acknowledge the great work that the industry has done and along with that, they also get to dazzle the red carpet with their beautiful looks and dresses. PISA 2020 was attended by a lot of famous Pakistani celebrities. Where quite a lot of them failed to impress, there were a lot of such celebrities who looked spectacular.

Sarah Khan knows how to slay at the award functions with her carefully picked outfits and beautiful looks. Sarah Khan wore two outfits at the event. A gorgeous black chiffon saree with embellished blouse and a gorgeous green gown when she did the honors of opening the award ceremony with Pakistani National Anthem. It’s safe to say that she looked spectacular in both the outfits. Sarah Khan is one of those few celebrities who not only dress modestly but also know what looks good on them. She looked like a vision in the black saree and showed how simple outfits can make a statement. Sarah wore her hair straight and kept her makeup simple, but she scored a spot in this list with flying colors.

Reema Khan is a timeless beauty. After a lot of trials and errors, Ayesha Omar finally found herself one such gown which did justice to her petite frame and made her look elegant. Let’s just say, Ayesha Omar should rely on international designers for such events because their gowns are made in such a way which hug the body perfectly and are classy. This gown was sparkly, it was blingy, it had tassels and it was just perfect. Ayesha Omar wore dainty accessories. She kept her makeup bold because the dress was a shade of pastel gold and silver. She wore her hair differently, she has been pictured in two different hairstyles. Let’s just say, this was definitely Ayesha Omar’s night and she looked gorgeous.
Sana Javed
Sana Javed wore a creation of Nomi Ansari and she looked absolutely beautiful. It was a gorgeous solid black base which was amped up with silver metallic mukaish work. It was a beautiful creation and Sana Javed carried it with utmost grace. Sana Javed wore her short hair in loose curls, she kept her makeup glamorous. It was obvious that Sana Javed wasn’t screaming for attention and she went for a relaxed traditional vibe and she nailed it. Mahira Khan
Mahira Khan also wore an international label. Her outfit was by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi and it was a stunning outfit, perfect to make a dazzling statement on an award function. Mahira Khan let the gorgeous bling sleeveless gown do the talking. She kept her hair and makeup simple, something that she always does but this time, it worked in perfect harmony with this outfit because it was over-the-top and eye-catching. Zara Noor Abbas
Zara Noor Abbas went for a traditional ethnic look with banarasi blouse and saree. She wore her hair in an updo and carried a beautiful statement necklace to complete her look, it won’t be wrong to say that she looked like a younger version of the ever-so-gorgeous Asma Abbas. Zara Noor Abbas looked graceful and charming. The beautiful shade of green that she picked complimented her skin tone. Her full sleeves blouse was a beautiful shade of purple and pink and it was a perfect match to the green saree. Zara kept her hairdo simple and makeup fresh and basic, without making it look like she put in so much of an effort, she ended up being a head-turner at the event.
Urwa Hocane
Urwa Hocane came in wearing a princess dress and she looked gorgeous. Her outfit was a beautiful silver sleeveless gown. It was heavily embellished and flared, it accentuated Urwa’s petite waistline beautifully. It was a perfect red carpet, award function appropriate dress. Urwa also changed into a saree later but this outfit was a perfect choice to make a statement at the event. She wore her hair straight and kept the overall fresh and simple. Urwa also did not put much effort into wearing any accessories, which showed that she wanted this outfit to take the limelight and do the talking, which it did!
Hira Mani
Hira Mani wore a blingy straight gown with a slit to PISA 2020. Hira Mani is new to these award functions and this is why she is exploring her styling and getting comfortable at the idea of making a statement. This time around, her outfit was beautiful and not over-the-top. It was a simple straight gown which sat beautifully on Hira’s frame. The shades were neutral and pastels which looked flattering on Hira’s beautiful complexion. She wore her hair in loose waves and her makeup was fresh and glowy.
Adnan Siddique
Adnan Siddique showed up on the red carpet wearing red sherwani and he did make quite a statement. Adnan Siddique looked fit and the shade of red suited him best. Adnan Siddique, like quite a lot of other celebrities also had a change of outfit during the award ceremony. He later changed into a basic black suit but the sherwani that he chose to make an entrance was perfect.
Shehryaar Munawwar
Shehryaar Munawwar wore a simple black and white tuxedo. He went for a clean and basic look for the night. The white coat had a pattern and the rest of the articles of clothing were plain and simple. Sherhyaar Munawwar without putting too much of an effort ended up looking quite nice at the event.

Sarwat Gillani wore a beautiful net saree and looked graceful. She picked a beautiful shade of navy blue which looked gorgeous on her skin tone and complimented her hair color as well. This marked the beginning of new award functions to celebrate and acknowledge the work that the Pakistani entertainment industry has been producing. The beginning of these awards wasn’t ideal and it surrounded many controversies. A lot of famous celebrities came to the forefront and spoke about how the organizers kept them in the lurch and after using their names to promote the show, they did not get back in contact with them. The organizers however went above and beyond to create the hype of the award functions and also circulated the pictures of some Pakistani celebrities who were flown to Dubai on a private jet. A lot of celebrities were not a part of the event but there were quite a few big names who not only attended but participated to make these award functions successful. What the future holds for these award functions is still a question mark, however a lot of famous Pakistani celebrities gathered to make the very first PISA Awards a star-studded event.
Pakistani celebrities always gather to celebrate the amount of work that the industry has done. They also get to mingle with the entire industry as well as make a style statement. Went Over-The-Top Only To Look Bad?
Meera Jee wore not one, not two in fact three outfits throughout the event. It goes to show that she was ready to go through the hassle to make a statement but she couldn’t. She wore a peach gown designed by Aleena and Fareena when she was leaving for the award function. This satin strappy gown was absolutely unflattering on her. She wore another outfit for the red carpet which was a creation of Asma’s Collection. It was a blingy jumpsuit topped with an overall, which she draped over her shoulders, again this pick did not do any justice to Meera Jee’s personality. Meera Jee wore a red saree during the award ceremony, which was probably the only outfit that complimented her. Apart from her Red Saree, the other two outfits were a poor choice. Meera Jee also went for a very nude makeup look which did not suit her at all. A pale foundation, minimum makeup on the eyes and nude peachy lipstick didn’t look good on her and made her look like she had bouts of vomit due to food poisoning right before the event. Wrong Shades of Yellow!
Someone should seriously ask how Momina successfully makes every color look bad? Momina went for an unflattering shade of golden yellow. It was a partly off-shoulder gown which only accentuated her waistline. Momina looked uncomfortable walking with such a heavily flared gown in almost all the videos of the event that circulated on social media. Momina has gone a bit too lighter with the hair color which makes her look washed out and is not a good look on her. She looks like all the shades of yellows poorly merged together on a paint palette. Noor Khan is usually one of those gorgeous young girls who can rock any look. She has a perfect height and physique to do justice to flared long gowns but not sure what went wrong. The maroon gown was a hybrid of towels and blankets? Or maybe it was made to look like a scourer so that the gown could also sweep the floors clean as she walked. Maybe Noor Khan was feeling cold so she decided to pick up the warmest fabric to save herself from the flu and fever? Just a lot of maybes that pop in our head everytime we see Noor Khan. Ushna Shah hit two birds with one stone. We are pretty sure after the event was over, she draped this gown over and slept peacefully because it was made out of a blanket. Ushna’s hair and makeup was basic but done right, she looked gorgeous however, the bustier of her gown was too tight and she was seen adjusting it every second as she walked the red carpet.Must have been uncomfortable, we are sure. Slitty Saree
Sadaf Kanwal wore a Sana Safinaz saree with a modern twist to it. There was a huge slit on the side of her saree which gave a room to her legs for easy walking. The overall styling that Sadaf opted for was tacky. It seemed her hair and makeup was rushed and she didn’t have much time on her hands to properly dress up for the event. We are pretty sure this was the thought that ran through his mind when he got an invitation to attend PISA 2020. He definitely contacted Mama Bear and asked her for a spare bed sheet stored in one of the trunks at her place and voila! This is how his suit came into being. Momal Sheikh has made it a ritual to look bad on every award function. No matter how hard she tires, she breaks her own record every single time. This time around, Momal picked a gorgeous shade of blue but the outfit itself was hideous. One fails to believe that it was a creation of renowned designers like Sana Safinaz. There was something happening in the name of fashion designing at the front of her outfit and 24 hours later, we are still trying to solve the conundrum. In a recent interview, Sonya Hussyn put the entire blame on her stylist for dressing her up for the award functions. She stated that if it was for her, she’d show up wearing Shalwar Kameez. I guess, it’s about time that Sonya walks the talk, wears a shalwar kameez on award functions and before doing that, fires her stylist who makes her look this bad at every event. What is exactly happening on Sonya’s head? She looks like a 2D version of herself in a tightly draped retro saree which actually looks unflattering. She is wearing a net blouse, hollywood waves on a chunk of her hair, gladiator-inspired bangles and a smile which makes her look as if she’s done with this stylist, we are too. It looked like Komal Rizvi was ecstatic after she got an invitation for PISA 2020. She decided to do everything she has ever wanted to on an award function but she ended up doing too much. Her outfit was unflattering and just not right. A heart-shaped cutwork on her bustier and ruffled netted bottom? There was also a break in the ruffles so that the plain net could break the monotony of the design, it is unfortunate that the designer put so much effort into making this gown work which was just not the right piece to begin with. Komal also went for an extended double wing liner, too desperate I see. Better luck next time Komal!

Alyzeh Gabol also wore a creation of Sana Safinaz. It is hard to believe that one after another bad designs that made it to PISA’s worst dressed list came from Sana Safinaz. The only good thing about the dress was the color but other than that, it was an eyesore. The silhouette was of such sort that made it very confusing to figure out the anatomy of Alyzeh Gabol. The tissues ruffled on one of the shoulders was also a disturbing look. Better luck next time Alyzeh!

Butler In Town
What is actually happening on Umair Jaswal’s coat? The green patched borders on the coat are catching the eye but for all the wrong reasons. He looks like he is very proud of looking like a properly dressed butler and for his dedication, he scored an award. Umair Jaswal should also try to experiment with his hair, this Johnny Bravo hairstyle has been out of fashion for more than a decade. Maybe he is still recovering from the aftershocks of Mor Mahal, hence the peacock green (pun intended). Better luck next time Umair!

Aima Baig wore a dazzling and sparkly gown to the PISA Awards but it looked like she didn’t go for the final fittings before the event, because it was clearly not her size. Aima did try hard to downsize it by buckling a belt around her waist but the neckline, the sleeves, the shoulders, nothing sat well on her petite frame. It was a sparkly velvet navy blue gown which looked too much for Aima to handle. It was a bit mature choice for someone as young as Aima and the fact that she went for a casual styling with her basic hair and makeup also didn’t harmonize the overall look. Color Combo Gone Bad!
Ali Zafar is someone who knows what looks good on him and he usually always picks up such outfits that he carries with grace but this was so not that case at PISA 2020. Grey plain trousers, white dress shirt, black bow-tie and blue velvet coat? What is happening? So many colors merged into one outfit makes it look like all of these pieces were just mixed and matched to give Ali Zafar something to wear the very last minute before he had to show up at stage for his performance. Fauzia Amaan wore a plain black saree which was a creation of the infamous Umar Sayed. The saree itself was made out of a plain black chiffon but the piece that was supposedly going to amp up her look was the crows nest that she draped around her shoulders. On the work front, Feroze Khan is soon to make his silver screen appearance in the upcoming film Tich Button. The film will release across Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr 2020.
“I am upset over the fact that my husband is in contact with his ex-wife. Their pictures together have also gone viral,” Shabnam Majeed said.
Juggun Kazim had a strong stance and she believes that it is propaganda against women in media and the one who leaks these pictures must be blamed not the victims.
Mubasshir Luqman said, “It is not gender-based whether it’s male or female’s picture it is wrong.”
