The host asked a direct question from Shazil, ‘if you have any element of jealousy for your step mother Saima Noor?’, to the question, Shazil replied, “There is no element of jealousy between us, obviously, in start it happens everywhere, which is natural, and it’s always two-sided, I’m sure there must have been things on the other side as well but you can not judge a person until and unless you get to know him,/her, in this case, when my mother Rukhsana Noor passed away, I didn’t give her a single chance but she was the one who came to me, she used to take care of me, she made her place in my heart, she took care of my routine and my feelings, every time, she used to make sure if I am eating in time or not, I used to share my feelings about my mother with her, I first cried wholeheartedly in front of Amma (Saima) after my mother’s passing away. Arbaaz was having his debut, a new girl Saira Khan was in the film, the whole cast was new, except for Resham. During the shooting, people gathered around her and started disturbing her. Saima decided to take some rest at a nearby house. The driver took her to my house, which was in Iqbal Town. My wife was not home. When she returned, she asked, ‘Who is in the house?’ They replied, ‘Saima.’ She was shocked but then went inside the kitchen, prepared tea and snacks for her, handed them over to the servants, and went to her room. It was a great gesture by Rukhsana. She was setting things up to observe Saima, and Saima ultimately proved herself.”

Old Lollywood industry had its own flavour, its own catfights and stars who worked and created their own scandals. Pakistani films always had one or two stars ruling the scene in every era. Also, those who can’t reach your level will always criticize you. He’s a great actor, and it’s his right to say whatever he wants about me.”

Saima is undoubtedly the leading heroine of Punjabi and Urdu films for more than two decades now. Seasoned director Syed Noor has revealed his film making plans for the year 2014. He plans for four films in the year 2014. Here is what English Daily The News has reported

RENOWNED Pakistani film director Syed Noor has wowed to bring about a positive change in the state of Pakistan film industry in practical terms and is going to set a unique record by completing and releasing four movies in the year 2014.

This was announced by Syed Noor while talking to The News on Friday. Syed Noor pointed out that there had always been a lot of talk but very less work was being done in the film industry. But, the veteran director added, instead of talking like others, he had taken very positive and important practical steps to bring about a change in the state of the film industry by making four movies in 2014 only.

He said that his first movie in this string of new flicks was going to be ‘Price of Honour’ which would be released in April 2014.

The next movie ‘Bhi Wanted’ will be out on Eid ul Fitr. His third movie ‘First Love’ is scheduled to be released on Eidul Aza while the fourth and the last movie ‘O America’ is planned to be released in the end of this year.

Syed Noor acknowledged the role of the media in promoting healthy and positive trends in the film industry and appealed to it to continue its support.

He also announced that following the agreement between the exhibitors association and the film producer association, 1 percent of the yields from the Indian films exhibition would be paid to the technicians of the film industry. He added that the cheque of the 1 percent amount would be presented to the head of the special committee formed for this purpose to be distributed among the film technicians later.
